Horrible and by far the worst experiance at a BWW ever, yet also some great employees who stood out! This day when arriving at 6:30pm, there were many patrons waiting to be seated. It was about 40 mins for us to be seated. Many servers move slow and do not seem to pre-bus or clean the floor in the main dining room. The bar area had one bartender and she was covering 6 tables and the bar well. The area was clean and acceptable. It was explained they were low staffed however that is an understatement. The lone asst. manager Mike B was trying to run the front, answer phones and To-Go, bussing, and also expo. Many servers were observed returning to the kitchen without anything in hand while the entire dining room required tables cleaned. I have included pictures of 12 tables needing cleared to catch up. Hats off to our server who was supposed to leave at 4 but still here and I heard her volunteer to take two tables that just got sat, one of them ours. Other servers move as if swimming in molasses! Continuing, I heard from another table they had been sitting for 45 mins without food and never saw tables cleaned. Seriously this place was self destructing. Still the lone, asst. manager was trying to keep up with 5 jobs and even was taking orders from tables however no one person could ever hope to do well. Respect for him not giving up and taking the much flack from current tables upset at the food wait. We witnessed over 10 people leave before being seated due to the lengthy delays. The GM of this location and the regional manager need to be held accountable. Other reviews reveal this is a repetitive situation at this location. Our server was Shay and she was great in dealing with all the circumstances. She was only supposed to work till 4pm but was still "volunteering" to take tables at 9pm. Hats off to her, a wonderful team player. Taking these constantly upset tables takes true server grit, shows excellent teamwork, and should be commended or promoted. The kitchen took about 40 mins for orders of fried chicken and boneless wings. Real slow for fried food. The asst. manager should also be commended and recognized for continuing to hold down 5 positions at once, and still with a smile. I feel the issue is with the upper management and corporate over how this place is allowed to run at such low levels. It is to the point where good employees are faced with insurmountable work requirements due to others dereliction of duties and responsibility!

Dont visit this location. We went here one night during the World Series and expected it to be busy and it wasnt at all. So of course we expected great, quick service and received the exact opposite. When we walked in there was no one at the hostess stand, we stood in the entrance for a while and then the lady at the to go counter said "are you eating in or carry out. We said eating in. She said ok. So we stood there then she said so are you going to the bar or sitting in the dining room. We said we would sit in the dining room and she said ok someone will be with you. No one came so we went to the bar area.There were about 10 other tables occupied and only one person working in the bar. We waited over 20 minutes for a server to come to our table to take our order then when he came back with our drinks, they were watered down and warm. We asked for a Manager because we waited about 45 mins for appetizers and poorly made drinks. The manager on duty tells us the restaurant manager left and she is in charge. She was sent there because the restaurant was performing poorly and the skeleton crew she had on staff was only there because everyone on the night crew called off. Am I suppose to believe not one person scheduled came to work? If its true its probably because the restaurant is poorly managed. She also said that they are making drinks to spec because people complain about drinks being too strong. I laugh at the thought. I drink at BDUBS all the time and never had a drink as horrible as I was served. She said she would comp our food but not our drinks. That made no sense, the drinks were what we had a problem with. To add to it, I went to the restroom, an employee had left a broom sitting on the sink and in the other sink there was a tile and running water with no employee in sight . Dont waste your time at this one.

About last night: Thursday, June 29th, 2017 at 11:30 pm. My friend and I sat at the bar for fifteen minutes before we finally had to ask the young man to take our drink and food orders. He reluctantly and half way did so. He made one drink and neglected to give me my drink order. He should have known that you serve the lady first and if two people order, they should receive their drinks at the same time. We smiled and asked for straws. There were two other couples seated at the bar. He had no since of urgency to offer attentive customer service to us. Finally, after waiting forty-five minutes and asking him nicely several times as to how much longer would our order take? It is now a quarter after midnight, he strolls over and nonchalantly informs us that someone else got our order. Did not offer to replace the order. He just stood there waiting for us to leave. This guy clearly did not care about how he treated us! As we did, no one was around to accommodate us. This establishment does not deserve even one star. Very disappointed with this location. We have enjoyed OTHER locations. First time and last time at this location. Get out of this town now! We only want establishments that CARE about the people they serve. Big tippers just left the building! Never to return!

This is the closest location to us and we always drive to Tinley if we want bwws because the service at this Homewood location is terrible. I really hope someone from corporate reads these and does something about it. Against my better judgement, the night of the big fight on t.v., we decided to carry out. We were in a semi-hurry and settled on our nearest bwws. There was a line for taking cover charge for the fight and there was a line/cluster of people for carryout/(loitering?) It was complete chaos in the doorway. Some people had there food already, some didnt. People came in behind us and didnt know where to go. Some couple was having trouble with a voucher on her phone, taking forever, line is getting bigger. Theres no one in the line waiting to pay the cover. We ask if we can order there, she just shakes her head no. After 20 min of waiting someone came over, asked what we wanted, we started our order, the guy walked away without a word, never to be seen again. No apology, no well be right with you, no one said a word. I understand being busy but a nice Im sorry, well be right with you goes a long way. Last night was the last chance I gave this location.
