Considering a Banquet = Be Warned! This was our 2nd time having a large party at the 12700 S. Kedzie Ave. location. Unlike our 1st experience last year, Beggars did an overall poor and unacceptable job with our 2017 party. As instructed by their party coordinator we arrive at 12:30 for decorating for our 1:00 party. Having dropped our tablecloths off the day prior we expected to find the banquet room almost ready by 12:30. Instead, we arrived at 12:30 for our 1:00 party to a completely dark and empty room! Communication throughout our event was terrible, we had to find the servers and ask the servers for everything. The servers had no idea how to host or communicate with us. Around 1:30 the food started coming out at random but no one ever communicated with us that all the food was out on the buffet and that the food was ready to serve, so the food sat out longer than it needed to. We had to hunt for and find the server and ask if we could start eating. Then once we started serving food from the family-style buffet, food items naturally started running and the Beggars staff were not around to replenish the food items on the buffet leaving the balance of our guests standing in a line. Once again, no communication and no server around. I had to find the server and tell them we ran out of food which then took forever to replenish at this point because literally every food item was empty. Please think twice before booking a banquet event at this location! We never found a Beggars manager during our entire 3 hour event.

We waited 50 minutes for pizza that was supposed to take 30 minutes before they came out to tell us the pizza had just gone in 10 minutes earlier because of a problem with the oven. We were told they had put the pizza in the "quick oven" for out wait...whatever that means. We ordered 3 pizzas that finally came out after 75 minutes and one of them was the wrong toppings. Manager was going to comp us 2 sodas for the inconvenience and when I complained he was going to take off the wrong pizza but seemed mite annoyed than anything. We informed him that he wasnt doing us a favor by not charging us for an incorrect pizza but his customer service was bad at best. We asked him for a number to corporate and he said hed get it and never came back. I got his name from our waitress, it was Marco. I will be contacting corporate about him and the situation. I enjoy Beggars Pizza but I wont be going back to this one. The only reason I have two stars is because the correct pizzas were good and the waitress was really nice and apologetic. I think maybe she should be managing instead of Marco.

This food is usually good from Beggars. The one in Oak Lawn is fantastic. This location sucks. Poor customer service. One time I ordered and it took almost 2 hours to deliver to my house. I called and they said the driver got stuck by a train.....for 2 hours?! It wasnt a huge amount of food either. So I like the food and decided to give it another shot. I ordered $52 worth of food and asked the girl if the driver can bring change for a $100 bill. So with a tip I need $40 change. She said no, the driver only carries $20 no more. Seriously? Im not asking him to bring $100 only an extra $20 in change!!! They lost my business over $20. Whatever Im never going to this location again. Worst customer service.

I would have given this Beggars Pizza NO STARS! I had a horrible experience there tonight. First off the waitress SUCKED. We had a big party so she knew her gratuity was garunteed. She never came to refill our drinks UNLESS we asked every time. Then the food was not hot when it came out. Lastly when we all paid for our meals at the end... she came out with an extra bill for $50 saying it was for the gratuity and taxes. Like why the hell wouldnt you factor that into our bills when we first paid them. Idiotic manager and waitress had NO damn Idea what they were talking about. Ive been going there since I was a kid... Never again will they recieve another dime from me. Save your time and money!

I ordered a pizza unfortunately Im in a African American neighborhood I ordered a pizza to be delivered at a specific address, gave my credit card gave my phone number in which they called me back on to verify it was a legit phone number, its now 11:28 p.m. of all things I ordered it was a vegtarian pizza who in their right mind of all pizzas would order a vegetarian pizza to cast a hoax my rating to this company would be a big f*** you cant wait till the pizza gets here if the taste is worse than their service then I would rate them less than a 3

I live 2 blocks east of their delivery zone. They processed my debit card without checking this first. They call and tell me that they cant deliver to my area and that my money will be available in 5 business days..today is Saturday! They shouldve checked that before taking my money! I waited 10 minutes to talk to a manager who was not understanding, cold and didnt really give a crap. 2 BLOCKS! you couldnt cover 2 blocks to cover your mistake! Jerks! the kids and I were hungry! Good pizza horrible customer service.

I called to place an order for delivery. Phone representative informed me of a no delivery notation listed next to my number for an address that I do not live at. I requested a manager and received no help besides the manager that implemented the notation is out til Monday and doesn’t see what address is listed. The customer service has really gone down. I order pizza here regularly and never had this problem.

Walk into the carry out order my food and pay for extra meat in my spaghetti and dont receive it i call them back it takes 10 mins for them decide what to do and im not from this area and they wanted to offer me a credit....for the extraeat lol im not from here and dont plan on getting any thing from them ever again .... id advise others to stay away there service sucks ....they deserve no stars

The customer service is really good here. I art drive past a Beggars to come to this one. As usual the pizza and salads were very good and the drinks were outstanding. They have Chicago style deep dish pizza or thin crust if you like that sort of thing. Theres also a wide variety of appetizers and salads or you could go with a sandwich. Bathrooms are clean and the hostess is always at her station

We were a little skeptical about this palace after reading the reviews but as it turns out this place was quiet good. Food was good service was also, the only issue I found was the one stall in the womans bathroom. Should have more then one tolit for the womans bathroom if u r gonna have one make it to where the main door can be locked. Other then that we had a very good experience
