So looking for seafood all I can say is that Devon is pretty much awesome. For appetizers I love the roasted duck flatbread. Ive tried the lobster rolls and tamale as well which are both good but the Roasted Duck Flatbread (see how I went to capitalizing them there) is just perfectly delicious (and who doesnt want some fowl before their fish?) Across the board all of the meals Ive tried so far (only from the seafood side) has been great. Ive actually only tried the fish so far and while I hear their steak is good - thats not what you goto a seafood joint for now is it? The prices arent overly expensive and if you are on a budget? Well they have daily specials and a happy hour thats pretty awesome too. The drinks are all great as well (and as it was summer I had to go with the mojito which was excellent!) The wait staff is friendly and prompt on refills of water or whatever it is you do happen to order. Good food and when Ive been there good service as well. (I havent been there during a dinner rush though so cant say to how the service is when they are packed.)

I went here for Mothers Day had reservations they said they were running behind ok understandable. We finally sat down ordered drinks, appetizers and Entree all together. We got our appetizers and drinks. We finished that like 20-30min mind you we put in our order with everything else. We waited over an hour for our entrees for me to get my filet migon over cooked/dry (I asked for medium) and lobster tail over cooked and they messed up my sides. Our waiter had an attitude with me because I wanted to return the food. My mom finished her food while Im looking stupid waiting for mines, at this point Im over this restaurant. They still messed up on my New food that came out but I got tired of waiting and just dealt with it. The manager didnt take no inconvenience fee off the bill he only gave us $25 vouchers, they could have kept that because Im not going back.. spent well over $100 for my food to be nasty and for them to have an attitude. I wouldnt recommend going here on special holidays, obviously they cant keep up with the demands.

We visited this place on a Thursday night. We waited 40 mins for our table even though we made a reservation. We finally got a table in the corner where servers were hanging out folding napkins and squeezing by. Our waiter was very energetic and apologetic about our wait and offered us a free appetizer of our choice. We chose the crab cakes which were fantastic. However, I went with his suggestion and had the char crusted ahi tuna for dinner and it was terrible. The tuna was cooked well but the sauce and crust were not very good. My roommate had the braised beef short ribs and said that they were not good either. She also had the blue point oysters, which she liked. If I go back, Ill try the wine flight which looks very interesting. The dining room has a romantic feel but is very small and down some very scary steps. The food is sub-par and very overpriced considering. They get a C- effort and a D+ for food.

I went to Devon for a birthday dinner of my friend. It was a party of 8. We were given a very spacious table. We had two servers to take care of our needs. Both servers were well spoken and attentive. I ordered a swordfish steak according to the suggestion of one of the server. It was well cooked and delicious. The black Manhattan was really good. Only thing that bothered me is they charged me extra for the oysters. I had 2 oysters instead of their standard side. First they said it is fine but it appeared in the bill. But it is okay given that the food was really good. We spent 5 hours for 3 course meal and it was worth it.

My girlfriend and I spent our first valentine at the Devon in Philadelphia. It left us a really wonderful experience there. Two years later, we went the Devon in Chicago to recall our memory on the Qixi day (Chinese Valentine). We might visit at a wrong time. It felt empty and aging in the restaurant. It seemed only other two groups of guests besides us. I reserve a start only for the environment. It should be much more decent place. About the food, we really enjoyed it. As a chain restaurant, there should be no worries about the food quality.

At first I was kind of disappointed in the menu (it was rather small) then the waitress brought us the downstairs menu, which had many more options. I got the surf n turf with crab cakes and a 6oz filet, with a side of lobster mac n cheese. The filet was perfect and the mac n cheese was nothing special, but still very tasty. I was a bit disappointed they had no chianti, but they still had a very nice collection. The service was friendly and I would definitely recommend going, but be prepared for a steep bill.

Another great seafood spot. Been here a few times. The last time, my group and I got seated downstairs in one of the wine rooms, which allowed us to get a little loud without disrupting other people around us, The seafood is cooked to perfection. The halibut is a little on the heavy side. I enjoyed the ahi tuna the last time I was here. The lobster mac and cheese is simply delicious, but one small complaint: for the price, it should have more lobster chunks like the one at GT Oyster

This is a great restaurant, a bit pricey but the delicious food makes up for it! I went on a weeknight and it was packed. The ambiance is great, its a nice place to have dinner with a significant other, co workers or even family. The service was great, our waiter was friendly but didnt bother us and left us to enjoy our meal. The dessert was perfect and hit the spot, I had the cheesecake. I would recommend this restaurant if your looking for a upscale seafood place in the city.

My friends and I dined in on Feb 17th. Our Server was Nicki; she was AMAZZZING!! She made our visit unforgettable. She was so knowledgeable on all things. She gave excellent suggestions based on things that she liked. If something wasnt her favorite Nicki told us what was popular with most customers and to GET IT! Nicki you ROCK and made our experience the best and we are definitely spreading the word. Nicki, Nicki, Nicki, Nicki, Nicki,!!!!

I will never return to this establishment! Food was majorly disappointing considering the hefty price! The waiter was a very nice person but made some major blunders that would be unacceptable even at a place like Dennys. I still left a nice tip and have made no attempt to contact Hershey entertainment and resorts. I am not a person who is after a refund and would not mind the price tag if it was quality food.

I had a delicious birthday dinner at Devon Seafood Grill. I liked that they offered different sizes of wine and champagne. The shrimp with panko crumbs was one of the best shrimp dishes I have ever had and the lemon asparagus risotto was also very tasty, although I wish it was a larger portion. The cheesecake, my favorite dessert, was also superb, making it a very enjoyable meal in very nice surroundings.
