Me and my family have been coming here for years . we recently went to celebrate my birthday and the owner chino was not there but his mom was as soon as we walked in with a 12 pack and told us we were going to be charged extra if we brought more and constantly kept going to our table telling us that was enough we didnt mind paying the extra charge. She said because we didnt look like we were legal to drink until we showed her our ids but that still didnt matter . our waitress was nice and she messed up our order we told the owner and she called the waitress "estupida" thats a horrible thing to say. Other tables had more beer and liquor bottles and our table seem to be the only one being harassed. Wont be going back its a shame because the food is good and chino is awesome

Me and my wife love this place! We come here when we want that authentic Mexican seafood experience. Fried Red Snapper platter and Pan Fried Crayfish platter are the best. Even though the area is not know for great cuisine this restaurant is outstanding Great Food, Great Service, and Great Value. A word of advice be careful with the house salsa it is made with REAL Havaneros chili peppers and is KILLER HOTTTT!!!!! . They have live bands and or Djs on the weekends. The place is BYOB but there is a liquor store across the street. Average tab per person when we have gone with friends is $9-$16; and there is plenty of parking in front of the place. Thank you Chino

This place was really lacking in flavor and quality. I ordered the diabla shrimp, which had a chewy consistency and was drenched in grease. My husband played it "safe" and ordered a seafood coctel/cocktail. It had no flavor and was simply seafood floating in a browish colored juice. He added ketchup to it just to give it some flavor. There was one other table in the restaurant, and the service was very poor. If theyd been busy I would understand, but they were not. Definitely not a good pick. We typically go to El Veneno on Ashland and Augusta and will continue to do so after this disappointment.

Hoy dia de los padres nos tuvimos que salir porque realmente la manager no tiene nada de profecionalismo no sabe atender al cliente fuimos por que nos lo recomendaro. El dueno la deveria de mandar a tomar clases de manager.

A treasure hidden I watched this place for years always wanted to try because I love Seafood. I wasnt sure of the seasoning the owners would use so I stayed away. But one day recently I tried shrimp taco and fries. Wow was I pleasantly surprised. The shrimp was perfectly split, cleaned and de-viened yum. The taco had a white sauce that was undeniably delicious. The French fries are different I believe they are coated in Sazon, but good.

We were the only patrons on a week night evening yes hours are odd but pineapple with s seafood (I requested no fake crab) was Delish Hubbie enjoyed his shrimp the owners mom entertained us they have big karaoke crowds on weekend they said happy to have it in a restaurant desert

I have to say, this has GOT to be the best mexican seafood restaurant in the city. I HIGHLY recommend the pina rellena (i think thats how you spell it) or the langostinos estilo nayarit! i promise, you wont regret it.

The food was mostly good...loved their tostadas....their caldo 7 mares....a little too much clavo .....camarones a la Diablo good but portion too small...the mendigo...was really good for people with hangovers...

The portions were very small for the price. Also the older lady that worked there not friendly didnt speak or anything, laughed and talked English with other Hispanic customers didnt say anything to us.

Awful service, waitress chewing gum while servicing, the owner (old lady) trying to rip off bill not using cash register, doing the math many times and always wrong definitely not coming back again EVER!!

They got some really good seafood. I always get the fillete relleno en crema. They were also on chicagos best so you cant go wrong with that .
