I do not recommend this place, The servers was really rude and untutored! I asked for a side of farofa and the guy said that I had to pay and was complained about me asking, Very unprofessional. I dont mind paying for the side of forafa, I did not asked for free LOL. Brasil Cafe it is 10 times better than this place! Eu tive a pior experiencia nesse lugar!

The servers are here really confused. As I was placing my order, I had to repeat everything after I said it because I think he was not paying attention. That did not inspire a whole lot of my confidence in him. True enough, the person who was behind me in the line got his order first. I checked with him regarding my order and he said it was on the way. About 20 minutes later, my burger arrived, with a part on the top of the bun burnt (see uploaded picture). Sigh. Nonetheless, I ventured a bite and was surprised at how good it tasted! It was juicy and had the right amount of char and flavor on it. Apart from the burnt bun, everything was pretty good. The sweet potato fries were also a delight to eat, not overly fried or sweetened.

I really love their beef stroganoff. Its so rich, creamy, not too salty, and balanced with great Brazilian pico de gallo. The meat is also really tasty and goes so well with the mushrooms and the sauce. Plus the crispiness of the fries!!! Why would you ever go to Chipotle across the street when you can come here??? I have also had their mini bowls with steak and it was also very tasty. I would not mind trying more things off of their menu since the service is so fast and the food always tastes good. Ive had a lot of food in Chicago, and the beef stroganoff is one of the best things Ive tasted. Only downside is its kind of packed and they make their smoothies really close to where you eat so it gets really loud.

I found myself here meeting a friend for lunch. I cant seem to remember what used to be here when I used to live up this way. My memory is going in my old age. So the space is totally a fast food type space. I loved that they have a little Brazilian grocery spot! How cool! The menu is pretty self explanatory. I went for the chicken Brazilian bowl...how could I not. For $7...yes, I said $7...it was huge and delish and full of chicken and flavor. There was veggies, cheese, rice, beans, everything you could possibly want. It was really fantastic. The staff is super cute. I actually really liked them because they were personable. I will definitely come back here if I am in the area. :)

Please, take the olives off the Coxinha! Thats not the traditional recipe :( If you are around and want to eat Brazilian food, ok. Good. But if you have the chance, go to Brazil Legal Cafe or Fogo de Chão ($$$). Dont get me wrong. The food here is good, but the staff always treats you bad, and they overpriced a LOT of stuff the last couple months. I used to love to come here, but not anymore. Edit: I just came here 2x last week, and seriously, WHAT HAPPENED? The bowl is way smaller, the coxinha as well, and seriously you call that mini pastel a regular size???? The lady on staff is amazingly nice, but the food is not good anymore.

Tentei três vezes, mas foi decepcionante! Não parece que a comida é feita por brasileiros. Achei caro, os salgados e pães de queijo são minúsculos pelo preço que cobram... A coxinha é doce (Oi?? Sim!!), o pastel de carne só tem sabor de pimentão. Pelo menos a empada de frango e o quibe são gostosos.

Going to try to keep short and simple. Horrible costumer service, not traditional Brazilian food. Specially the Brazilian Bowl, tastes nothing like Brazilian food, instead tastes like chipotle. And I agree with Tatis review completely . Gave a fair 3 shots going there and all 3 was a disaster. I am from Brazil and I felt completely disrespected from customer service to the food when I got there not to mention 95%of their "groceries" are past due on date. I dont see how it got that many stars. If you want traditional food Brazil legal cafe is the place to go.

After a less than stellar dining week, where I was continually left asking myself how some spots even stay open, I stumbled into this beauty. The culinary sins of the others were immediately cleansed from my soul upon entry. This place smells terrific. The staff is genuinely happy and enthusiastic. The joint is indeed spotlessly clean. Tada! The food is outrageously good. I ordered a simple bowl with extra meat and guacamole. Scrumptious. Of the fifteen places I ate this week, Brazilian Bowl was by far and away the best meal I had. Well done Brazilian Bowl!

Com uma excelente comida brasileira, e o lugar ideal para matar a saudade de uma boa Feiojada. Todo brasileiro com vontade de relembrar o gosto da comida de seu pais deve visitar esse lugar, recomendo.

Ive lived in Lakeview and walked by this place for years. Now that I work next door to this place I didnt have any excuse not to give it a try. Im kicking myself that I hadnt tried it sooner. As the name suggests, the basic concept is similar to what we have come to think of as a burrito bowl, but with Brazilian ingredients. Those ingredients take stuffing my face to a whole new level of eye rolling enjoyment. So delicious.

s I chomped down on the first bite of my mini bowl "mmmmm, crap this is good!" echoed through my head. I washs expecting it to be super. The mini Brazilian bowl was way more than mini. I got a fresh juiced juice to go with my bowl and I was stuffed! The flavors are different and unique. The ingredient combinations are healthy and fresh. All the makings of my kind of place!

Being a Brazilian gives me some credibility to talk about this place. They serve really good everyday food over there and are a great alternative for the big, expensive Brazilian steakhouses in the city. Try Bobo de Camarao and coxinhas. Both are great, being the first a complete meal and the second more like a snack. For desert, try brigadeiro or pudim. Both AMAZING! :)

Amazing food! Amazing people! Amazing price! I walked by this place a few times and noticed it was always packed so I thought I would check it out. I got there late and they kept the place open for me. I had the Brazilian burger and it was unbelievably wonderful. One of the best burgers I have had at any price and the burger was only $8.00!

If you want affordable, delicious homemade Brazilian food, this is the place. The Feijoada Bowl is my favorite (black beans with sausage and pork) comes with Rice, collard greens, pico de gallo and farofa is amazing. This place is also great for a quick snack, i love going there just to have a coxinha and fresh orange juice, yum!
