I love a good Chinese place so when my office was being treated to House of Hunan, I was pretty excited to try something new...something that had great reviews as well! I ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken and my colleagues had various other dishes. I could not find one person in our group who liked their food...in fact most of us could not even finish what we had ordered. Add to that our order was delivered and did not include the ordered and charged for appetizers. When we called to report the missing appetizers they said "are you sure you did not miss is?" Are you kidding me? I was certainly not calling to tell you how great the food is...wow! Needless to say I will not be ordering from here ever again...the menu went immediately into the trash.

Ventured a bit outside of my realm and decided to try this place. Not the greatest. Fried rice tasted like really bad oil. I couldnt really call anything good, egg rolls tasted funny and after I grabbed them out the fridge the next day they were spoiled. Mongolian beef was extremely salty, but otherwise would be good if it wasnt badly seasoned. Orange chicken was pretty meh. Fish was alright, but its just your typical sole, nothing special. Cant believe I stumbled across the one Chinese restaurant that cant get anything right. Delivery even took over 1.5 hours when it was a couple miles. Not worth it.

A friend told me to try House of Hunan. Here is what I found... 1) Online ordering is quick and easy 2) Inexpensive compared to other places 3) FAST delivery! I had my food in under 15 minutes (granted I live only a few blocks away, but I expected to wait awhile)! 4) The delivery personnel was very nice and polite 5) The food was great! I ordered the ragoons (delightful) and lo mein (delicious and NOT overly greasy)! I will definitely make this a go to restaurant in the future!

Been here twice for Bubble Tea. First time the tapioca was a bit hard; I would not recommend the smoothies. The second time I ordered the milktea and the tapioca balls were tender and juicy, just the way I like it. Very nice outdoor seating and great toothpick dispenser.

House of hunan, a very under-rated restauraunt. Its located in the heart of lincoln park and is actually quite delicious. This is a good cheap eat for anyone in the area. Plus if you go often enough they start to reconize you by face!

We ordered for delivery, FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!! The pork friend rice was delicious plus there was a generous helping, I ate leftovers for 3 days. Service was great, presentation was great. Would eat there again!

Good egg rolls and crab rangoons. Good chicken fried rice, decent hot and sour soup. Nice deal on delivery if you order more than $25. Driver took just under an hour.
