Really disappointed in this place. Went with my boyfriend out for a nice dinner and left hungry and annoyed. My boyfriend got the Hibachi, which he loved. I got the sushi, since Ive heard many amazing things. Was not impressed. The sushi had a very nasty fishy taste with very little flavor. I know, I know, Im eating fish but, NEVER when I had sushi it was that intense of a nasty flavor. I also tried a mock spider roll, when I asked if they could make one for me and again, I had to leave it for the trash. The "spicy mayo" was bad. I could even tell the ginger wasnt fresh and preservative-ridden. Left hungry and somewhat sick to my stomach. Im an avid fan of sushi, but this place destroyed my craving for it for awhile. Whoever says this place is amazing for sushi apparently doesnt have any tastebuds. The service was okay, the hibachi chef was somewhat discouraging (since he even made a distinct face when I told him Id be having the all-you-can-eat). Rarely do I even bother writing a review, unless it was so horrible I have to jump on the computer after dinner.

I never write bad rewiew at least not like this. We are sushi lovers and we go everywhere even from grocery stores to 5 star to Japan. IDK about hibachi, we went for sushi. I was trying to like it even though starting with chewy and stringy yellow tail to salmon and the rest??? I never had this horrible sushi in my life that I had to spit them out and my husband. Everything but salmon, it was horrible, so dry and chewy, sticky, smelly and SO old. I can not imagine how you can sell this horrible OLD sushi. It was not even all you can eat. We ordered sushi for two and chefs specials one of the most $$$ ones. We send back pretty much everything. Manager was working but she did not care to even stop by to apologize. We paid $$ and came home still hungry with stomach ach. Never ever going there again!!!

Ive had both the sushi and the hibachi at this location, as well as the lunch box specials. Hibachi was exceptional. The food was prepared with awesome care and attention. I havent had bad sushi here. It may not always be 10/10 but everybody has preferences. Id still give it an 7.5/10 on the worst days where I ordered something random. (If you get the nicer rolls, they will not disappoint you!) As for their salmon lunch box, I have never had salmon this amazing before. Its always on time and well prepared. I try to get it for lunch when I have a chance to before work. Its just the prefect sized lunch to get me going before a long day. The staff has always been very friendly and respectful, even on busy days. I cant wait to go back for more hibachi soon!

Had dinner there tonight 3 if us got hibachi and other 2 got the $21.99 all u can eat sushi. Waitress says to the kids to order 2 or 3 and no share and no take home. Never once said we would be charged extra 75 cents for the ones that were not eaten!! So on top of the ALL YOU CAN EAT, its a 75cents per piece u DONT EAT..which is BS. They didnt even bring all the suishi my son ordered..waitress we couldnt understand nor never said anything of the EXTRA fees. ..least the hibatchi was good but another EXTRA charge for fried rice...

My boyfriend and I went here a lot but we decided we will go some place else. We recently went to get sushi for dinner and the wait time to get seated is very long not even speaking about the wait time to be asked what wed like to drink. It took about 50 minutes for our sushi to come out and it wasnt even the correct order. The waitress tried to argue that what we got was what we ordered. (It wasnt.) I wouldnt recommend going here because you will wait about an hour for three rolls of sushi. Will not be coming back.

The hibachi food was very good, and the chef was quick and did well at his gig. We did not require a show so he did not.try to provide one. Sushi was ok, not as chilled as I am used to. Waitress was pleasant but very hard to understand. The menu is complexed and sort of hard to navigate so t was a bit hard to know what you just ordered. The kids near us seemed to enjoy the hibachi cooking so you look might.bring the kids along. A bit pricy. Our tab was $86 for two of us.

Been here countless times, mostly go for sushi. Ive only ordered their hibachi a couple times, it wasnt bad at all. The sushi is great though, they also have good appetizers. Great service overall. Ive never waited more than a few minutes to be seated (again I always go for sushi so Im not waiting on a hibachi table to open up) The servers always remember us and even remember the food we order.

Went new years eve Food was good but I felt rushed Brought our soup and salad at the same. Paid our bill and finishing our drinks they actually asked us to get up because they had other people to set down. I spent $150.00 on dinner dont feel like I should be rushed. Then they said there was no manager working .

Horrible customer service!! Expected to wait a bit on NYE even with a reservation. We waited for over a half hour and still no one had spoken to us to see if we had reservations. They over booked and under staffed for the evening. We will go to another Japanese steakhouse instead of returning to Kobe!!

Horrible service. I couldnt believe the incompetence. Why take a reservation for 7 and still tell us at 7:30 that we had a 10 minute wait when all the tables were filled and not served? They seemed to be short 4 tables, 2 chefs, 3 servers, and a manager with half a brain.

Worst experience and no customer service on New Years eve. People with reservations waited an hour and still not seated. Waited twenty minutes to check in on our reservations. As no one spoke to us or the others waiting, we finally left.

Lots of sushi options but the lunch specials should not be over looked. Filet and chicken were stand outs for me. Also, of course the cooking experience was a lot of fun. Includes fire and tossing of food at people!

That is the worst service I ever had, if you like sushi this is not a place for it. Bad service, bad food, servers were rood and extra charge for leftovers. I dont recommend this place!!!!

Go to place in the area for sushi. Bistro Wasabi is good, but withkids, no way. Get the angel wings roll, it is one of my favorites Filet and scallops are awesome here as well

The food is good but no better than other hibachi restaurants in the area. However they rush you through your dinner on weekends to turn over tables as quickly as possible.

When the waitress brought my soup out her thumb was submerged in the soup. Obviously I didnt eat it and when I complained she just said "oh" and took the bowl away.

We love Hibachi and gave this place a try on Friday night. The service was great, the food was awesome, and this will become a regular hot spot for us.
