What an experience!!! My husband and I went to Chins Restaurant. At first I was a little shocked that I had to pay before I even saw the buffet, but Id heard from a friend that it was amazing food, so we just went with it. We were not disappointed. At first glance of the restaurant, we found it to be very stylishly designed, clean, and maintained beautifully. This, in its self, is a feat and one that is well taken in. The design was very open, and had a ton of space for larger parties to be together. My very first job was at a Chinese Restaurant, so Id like to call myself a, self proclaimed, Chinese food aficionado. So, when I tell you that the food here was fresh and delicious, you can believe my words. Ive eaten at many different Chinese Restaurants, where Id of never even taken the time to write a review... Much less go back to it. This is something quite different in a refreshing manner. And I simply cannot write this review without calling out the Hibachi chefs. We were first greeted by Justin, who politely informed us that they were just switching shifts, and that another chef would take over for us. Before he did, I asked him if they had rice noodles, or just the lo mein noodles for the hibachi. He explained, ever so nicely, that they would get us rice noodles if we requested them. Then, Chef Mike came in. This guy was so impressive. He flipped, spun, and chopped with his spatula. While watching him, I found myself mesmerized by his talent. We carried on a great conversation, while he just went to town cooking our food. This guy was absolutely something to see. So, for this restaurant... I give it a high, "Rikki Recommends" seal of approval.

I am torn on my review. First the good . We had an awesome Hibachi chef today named Justin Garnet. They were very busy today but he keep his cool, did not cut corners or quality of his cooking and took care of everyone superbly. I fault the management for having the station understaffed on a Holiday. Mr.Garnet put on my plate the only thing that was tasty there. We tried this restaurant when it first opened and had not been back since because of the poor quality of food, limited choices and the pricing was all over the place. We eat at a wonderful Asian style buffet in Marion Il. that is basically a hole in the wall but the food choices and quality are superb. They have shrimp on both lunch and dinner everyday. They are even cheaper on price. I think in an effort to pay the morgage on such a nice restaurant Chins is unable or unwilling to offer this at their place. Wish it was better because Asian food , especially with seafood is our favorite. Hang on to Justin Garnet he is an asset.

This is the worst Chinese restaurant Ive ever been to, and Ive tasted some pretty bad chinese. Hibachi was flavorless, and took way too long to get my food cooked. All the food on the buffet was bland, fatty and/or cold. As a matter of fact everything but the hibachi was cold. The sushi was so dry. The chocolate in the fountain was the worst. There was nothing I could say good about the restaurant. The quality of food is comparable to that Chinese buffet on Southside that is 6.99 and just as disgusting. My husband and I will never return. I cant even fathom how the people in this town continue to go. Its like a revamped NO. 1 China buffet

A delicious source of food and very lovely service, guaranteed a quite big buffet and a hibachi bar located there, the price needs to be lowered. The business right now is getting a lot of customers but if the company were to drop this price the business would flourish and grow. To conclude the business is lovely and the food is a delicacy, but the price of the buffet in the restaurant is outrageous and the business would do even better if the price was dropped. Thus, the restaurant in my opinion should have a total of 4 stars due to delicious food, but an outrageous price for the food.

The atmosphere is good. This is the only good thing about the place. The food was way overpriced as hell and you definitely do not get what you pay for. The hibachi was the worst I have ever had. The rice was hard, the chef mixed raw chicken with other meats on the same grill and with the same spatula. The place is a health violation. The general tso chicken was chewy and flavorless. The lo mein tasted like lighter fluid. Will NEVER go back. If I could give this a half star I would.

Without a doubt one of the best Asian buffets I have ever been too. While the price is a little too expensive, especially for families, it is nice to treat yourself to. Wait staff is very friendly. Hibachi grill cook Justin is fantastic. My main complaint is hibachi cook Batman. He is rude, cooks how he wants, and doesnt ask the customer. His failure to care or listen about caused me a medical food allergy emergency. Wont be back when hes working.

It was an terrible experience. The hibachi chef was very rude and forced us to taste sauce that the people in front of us had eaten off of. He wouldnt give us our food until we tried the sauce. The hibachi was tasteless anyway. The eggs were not cooked into the rice correctly. The waiter was very nice though. The restaurant was very nicely decorated and was a relaxing environment. 3 stars is still too high. Would not recommend it.

Muscles werent cleaned properly. Pineapple out of a can, floating in syrup. Fatty pork. Cold chicken. Dry sushi. Kids playing in the icecream. Fondue fountain tasted like hot chocolate mix. Isnt chocolate supposed to harden when cooled? It didnt. There are a lot of little things about the food. But to sum it up, the food was cheap, the bill was expensive. But the service was good.

This is hands down the best restaurant in Paducah!!! The hibachi chef Deon is amazing he cooked a steak the melted in my mouth. Of you go here you will not be disappointed!!! It will change your outlook and make you understand that the other restaurants in this town need to step there game up, because to be Frank yall are playing in the minor leagues compared to this place.

You pay as you enter the restaurant which is different. The waitress was helpful and attentive, the buffet is fairly large and a lot to choose from. You can pick out rice, meats and veggies to have cooked as you watch, the cooks were nice. Family didnt have a bad experience as other comments Ive seen. 4 stars as yes the buffet price could be a bit lower.

We went today and the waiter was very disrespectful with us! He told us have a great f.... night and spit out front of us, when the manager was informed of this, he acknowledged what he said and what he did, but the manager didnt do nothing about it, I will never goin to come back! The food it great but some waiters need to be good with the customers.

Has ants in the drinks. Tired of the same old thing. I almost drank a ant so the manager have me a card for 20% off my next visit. Uh no thanks i dnt wanna drink any more bugs. And one of the guys at the hibatchi grill isnt very nice. Talked to me n my husband like idiots because it was our first time there.
