Expensive bad decision to go to IHOP - VLD. Should have known better - high noon, two customers in a very large dining area, staffing was not a problem - 5 wait staff with almost nothing to do. Scrambled eggs were dry, crumbly, very small serving, ham was overcooded such that I was not able to cut it with the table knife, hash browns charred black) bacon was limp and greasy, toast not buttered, PROS: water was good, coffee was tolerable, pancakes were good. So $18 for glass of water, coffee, and 2 pancakes. Server was friendly and was probably embarrassed to serve such fare -- cook - definitely not chef - was main problem. Will NEVER be back -- will try adjacent Waffle House next time. Lady at adjacent table told server ¨I can t eat this . My dog did eat the ham and bacon, so not a total loss. I hope others have better luck.

One star because it wont let me post negative stars. Starting out with ruse waitress then dirty silverware not so bad then they bring out waters that have floaties in it and plates that still have food on them. As if thats not bad enough the food that was ordered was shorted and some of it never even brought out after asking the waitress 3 times for the rest of our food. This shift lead comes out because the manager is not here. He is totally clueless on how to talk to customers much less an unhappy one. I asked for the managers contact information and I guess the shift lead doesnt know corporate information. Good thing theres Google. If you want good food and service and clean silverware and plates go to Mc Donalds. I will NEVER go to this establishment again. So sad because weve never had a bad experience at an Ihop.

I dont usually write reviews but this was the most horrible experience I have ever had in the food service industry. I called in my order at 8:05 am. I arrived at the restaurant at 8:35 am because they are notorious for making people wait long periods of time before providing services. When I arrived, I told the greeter that I was picking up a call in order. She acted like she did not know what I was talking about. Another greeter over heard me and said, oh it is not ready yet. She never said how much longer it would be or let me check on it. Nothing. I waited an additional 25 minutes. Still no order or word to say when or anything. I left. The whole point of a call in order is to be able to pickup your order when you arrive at the restaurant. If I could have given them a negative 100, I would have.

Great breakfast place management is great especially the assistant manager Shelli Mcdonald and head server Drew Watson. Employees who answer phone calls late at night, (especially) one particular Cook who name is Hayward really needs to gain some customer service skills and people skills if this is the line of work he chooses to be in. It is uncalled for for him to answer the phone saying the business is Hooters and to speak to a woman on the phone like a dog is very much uncalled for no matter how busy they are. Answering the phone is an integral part of business. People skills in customer service isnt for everyone, if you cant do the job start digging ditches. No people skills involved, just dig a straight line.

Worse service worse food Ive ever had at an IHop...ask for water never got it, food was terrible , save your money an go somewhere, anywhere else, after asking forwater twice I finally got up to get it myself, waitress pointed to the cups and as I was filling my cup, another waitress shoved me with her arm and body. The all the staff was beyond rude, I felt I had been assaulted. I should have had her arrested. I have never seen or experianced any thing like that ever and Im 65 years old! I think their all degenerates on drugs. Dirty , greasy haired staff I was afraid to even eat the food they set down in front of me..by the way the food was nasty too.

My family ate here today and we spent a lot of money to feed all of us. I was extremely disgusted when I went to the restroom and there was no toilet paper in my stall. The lady in the stall beside me put her arm under the stall asking for toilet paper. Of course their was no toilet paper whatsoever. To make matters worse there was no paper towels and one squirt of soap. So how are the waitresses washing their hands before they handle everyones food??? Im totally disgusted! The manger Chad Donaldson is a major jerk also! He has time to be outside smoking but no time to stock the restrooms! We will NEVER come back!

Poor service. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. Listened while others around us complained about not having the right food. I got my steak omelette and there was 3 pieces of meat in it and two slices of cheese thrown on top instead of the shredded cheese. On the way out the manager was arguing with the cook about telling the customers why they werent getting their food. Its horrible here. After a long day at wild adventures we just wanted to eat and go back to our hotel. Im just disgusted.

We waited a long time for our food with barely anyone there and when it came there was hair in my husbands eggs. The supposedly remade his plate this time the eggs was disgusting...two of us tested them. Both mine and my daughters grits and hashbrowns tasted weird. The tea was sour. Our waitress disappeared to make tea. Never refilled our cups. Amongst other issues i have to say this is the worst ihop ever. We love ihop and visit many different locations but will NEVER go back to Valdosta IHOP.

This place is downright pathetic. Poor service. They were out of creamer, out of orange juice, out of muffins, spinach...etc. waitress gave off the wall excuses. Went straight to the manager after I got done eating to ask where my wifes food was and my pancakes... he blew me off and told me to find my waitress. I am so angry that I had to pay for this food. This had me so stressed from worrying that I am sick to my stomach. Ill never return!

Ordered a pick up. I called in an ordered the steak omelette with extra steak and cheddar. They put all of the toppings on top of the omelette. Ive always had an omelette with the ingredients inside of it. They did not put sauces in the bag and forgot to add my drinks so therefore they kept my money. My husband picked up the order. Smh. My first and last time going there. Ill just stick with Waffle House next door.

This was the most unorganized, unprofessional Ihop I have ever been too. We had to wait for more than 45 minutes between the time we got our drinks and our food. Its clear that they are understaffed..and then I noticed one of the waiters clean an over filled glass with his shirt which is unsanitary..why not get a napkin? And theno our food was cold I wouldnt advise anyone to eat here unless you have no other choice!
