The food is very good (5 points here, so far) -- BUT service can be iffy, considering that we have experienced, from 2 different servers, either under/misquoted prices of desserts (with almost 0 service on that occasion), and on another occasion we declined to order an appetizer -- but then we were brought it anyway, and the server insisted that we had ordered it (wrong). He then returned it to the kitchen, and we later found it still charged to our bill (ow)! The app was a simple cold hummus salad -- not a biggie considering that my gyro would largely have that type food anyway, and had already been ordered. From these 2 incidences (out of just 4 dinners), I suspect that these add-ons might be intentional, or at least a bit too systematic. I would watch out. SO FAR: 5 - 1 = 4 points, in this review. P.S. On the same 2 occasions, no water was served until we explicitly reminded the server that we needed it. Again, twice (out of 4 meals) is systematic -- therefore 4 - 1 = 3 is the result for my review.

After a great experience dining in, we wanted carry out on a Sat night. I should have known when they didnt answer on 2 tries, I should give up. I went in and the hostess had to all but pull the bartender over to take my order. She didnt off a menu, had to keep coming back to ask questions so she didnt know the menu, didnt tell me how long the wait would be, didnt offer a water while I wait, didnt check to see if the order was ready. I finally had to ask the manager to check on it. When I got home my Philly steak sandwich was the worst philly Id ever had. Mean was crunchy it was so well done. I asked to hold the peppers and they were on it anyway. Sandwich was very very dry. My husband had a gyro sandwich and the mean was like leather, he paid the upcharge for potatoes and had 2 slices of potatoes, no dressing on the sandwich or on the side and it was very bland. Shame shame on Opa for this very poor service and food!! Dont bother with them... drive a little further for better Greek food and service!

Ive been wanting to try this new Greek restaurant for a while. What a disappointment! My waitresses decided that she would put my Caesar salad on my dinner plate, instead of in a bowl, before my meal. It came without dressing, and its so thick its impossible to mix into the salad. I ordered a Gyro wrap with the Greek potatoes. The Gyro had chunks of onion that left a bad taste and when you order the potatoes, they only give you 2 small wedges. Maybe I caught them on a bad night but in my opinion, there are way better Greek restaurants out there. I wont be back.

Excellent service from Lacy, went for late lunch around 4pm. My Greek salad was delicious, very fresh, juicy produce used. The creamy orange dressing was amazing. Ordered a Hercules Gyro, which came out on a fresh, delicious, warm pita bread with a touch of oil. The gyro meat was tasty, one of my favorites in the area. French fries were well seasoned and everything came out quickly. Will definitely be back to satisfy my gyro craving, the price was worth the fresh tasting food and warm atmosphere. Im sure their vast selection of dinner entrees will be a treat.

This place is the real deal! After dining at the restaurant the week it open, my husband and I thought we would bring my traditional Greek family for dinner. Whew! They passed the high bar of my Yia Yias ( Grandmother) home cooked offerings. The service was top notch as even the owner stopped by to make sure everything was perfect and to talk about what it is like to grow up Greek! There is a reason why the spot is busy, cause the food is GOOD!

So far my wife and I have had stuffed cabbage, stuffed peppers, pork chops, chicken kabobs, and roasted chicken. While the kabobs were dry all other entrees were excellent. The lentil soup which comes as an alternative to salad is very good. Their house salad is an only blind spot; it quite frankly couldnt be more generic. Service is above average and wait times negligible. Will return often for the stuffed cabbage and lentil soup.

FINALLY! A Greek restaurant that lives up to the expectations! Rarely do restaurants in there first few weeks of service get it all right and then repeat it but weve had 2 great meals in a row here. The owner and his son where onsite and made it even more fun! This place is the real deal! Delicious food, great staff and a really cool interior. I would recommend this for a big group lunch or a romantic dinner for two!

Great service, delicious food. It was a great feeling after being seated a member of the wait staff acknowledge that we were there. So many times in restaurants and even retail locations employees can walk by customers without even recognizing and acknowledging them. Our waitress Ora was awesome, professional, friendly and attentive. She was one of the best waitresses I have ever had at any restaurant.

Fresh and delicious food, super friendly staff. Great ambiance in the dining room accompanied by a touch of Greek music and Greek shoreline murals. Portions are serious and the beer selection is pretty nice, especially since they offer a few Greek beers to try. Super attentive staff we will be back. Had the gyro wrap, Greek salad and meatball tzatziki appetizer - all stellar

Very loud music. Hostess, servers take wrong drink orders, because they cant hear you. Menu looks like a diner menu. Three salads, included in dinner option, served one at a time. Chicken over cooked and dry, so were the green beans. Shrimp dish chewy and tasteless. A bad experience all together. Hostess told about bad experience, gave a smile in return. Wont be going back.

My wife and I had been hoping for a restaurant we could love in Smyrna. This has been more than we could have hoped for. The owner, the staff and, above all, the food is terrific. The food is always fresh, prepared perfectly and tastes great! We have been there nearly every week since we found it and are always bringing friends and family to enjoy as well.

Friendly staff and great food! I had driven past this place a few times, but I finally had the chance to stop in for an early dinner and I wish I hadnt waited so long to try this new place. Colorful wall murals of Greek sites and music playing overhead are great additions to the already great staff and food. Definitely try this place out!

This is my third time Im going at this restaurant and it will be my last one. The food is good but Im pretty sure I can find good food everywhere, but their personnel is super rude. I wouldnt give even 1 start to this place but theres no option to give half star. Do yourself a favor, dont go there ...
