Went there for a Labor Day dinner, just a nice opportunity to hang out and relax with good food. Unfortunately, the experience itself was very lackluster. The price did not fit what you received; you would be paying above average prices for below average food. Our table ordered nearly one thing out of every category, but ended up receiving minuscule portions all across the board. A plate of calamari, not much bigger than what could fit a small bowl, came with more peppers than actual squid. Salads and entrees were disappointingly small, food was overcooked and then sat until it had cooled to a lukewarm temperature... Our waitress was very kind, and generally quick to take care of us. The same could not be said about the rest of the staff. In addition to being largely ignored-- not even looked at when someone got up to once again request a long-since asked for glass for their beer-- we noticed the male staff seemed to cluster at one side of the restaurant and complain about their customers, loud enough that we could hear them on the opposite side of the restaurant. Additionally, anyone who wasnt the hostess or our waitress to visit our table basically dumped the food and left without so much as a comment, leaving us often times with empty glasses and only half-fulfilled orders. Our check came to nearly $100, even after the waitress benevolently deducted some of the total off for the tiny portion sizes. Looking back, would I pay that much for what service and food we received? Not at all. It was mediocre, left much to be desired. Most likely, one could receive grander portions and higher quality with food from McDonalds, for a fraction of the price. Do your wallet - and your stomach - a favor, and go elsewhere.

Nice, tasty food and refreshing drinks but they have possibly the worst service Ive ever encountered while eating out. We waited a long time before our server took our drink order, the food came without utensils (!!) which we then proceeded to wait for, and return service was dreadful. My drink was dry for probably about 20 minutes before the awful wait staff even acknowledged my existence! Following that, a friend and I decided to stay for some more drinks (like I said, refreshing drinks) but we ended up waiting another 15-20 minutes. When we went inside to the bar to request drinks and also mention that we had been waiting for the server, we were told that they refused us service because our absent party had once had a disagreement over a tab from months ago! Talk about a sour experience. I will never return except for maybe a take-out order where I can eat the food in the comfort of my own home.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS I WOULD. It was absolutely AWFUL! A few years ago I had a different outlook, but based on tonights visit, just, no. I cannot express my displeasure enough through words. I went here for my moms birthday and the whole visit was horrendous. First off, it took forever to get our food and drinks even ordered. When the food finally arrived, I thought they were joking. My friend said it "tasted like airplane food". I agreed. I myself ordered lasagna and it was clearly microwaved- the taste was awful and it was uncooked. My friend got uncooked chicken Marsala....when we told the manager he claimed "theyre just tendons the chef needs to clean better". Nevertheless, he took it off our bill. But we ended up paying 30 dollars for 2 awful lasagnas and an undercooked chicken Marsala. I can only hope none of us will be sick after this experience. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

My husband and I are gluten free - we were excited to eat at this restaurant as they offer a gluten free menu....however, if you have severe problems with gluten this is not the place to eat. They claim to be gluten free but have flour flying in the air every time they make a pizza dough - getting on the plates that they serve the food on and on the food waiting to go out. I dont think they truly understand how sensitive people can be to gluten so cross contamination is likely. Another example, they list the french fries as being gluten free....but unless they fry them in a separate fryer and oil than the other breaded things they fry, then they are not truly gluten free. Just be careful if you have an allergy to gluten. If you dont, then the food is actually really good! Just dont think restaurants should advertise gluten free and not really understand what it means.

I had the filet and it was absolutely delicious. Service, however, was less than stellar. I was seated immediately and the waitress took my order relatively quickly. Since I ordered a steak, I didnt think too much about the wait for entree because it does take time to cook meat. The one positive note is that the waitress did keep my drink refilled. However, I finished my meal and waited and waited (for well over 10 min) for my waitress to check back on me. I asked for dessert (creme brulee) and waited well over 10 minutes for it to be delivered (it was very good)! I finished my dessert and waited around 5 minutes for my check to be delivered. Again, the food was great, but the service could use some improvement. Ill definitely give them a 2nd chance because the food was impressive.

While the food was great, the service was awful! My dog could have gave me a better experience! Multiple things were missing from our dishes! Like, the bacon on my sandwich, the sauce for my moms sandwich- which we had to wait 10 minutes to get after requesting, the bbq for my sons chicken finger -after the waitress said oh, I dont know if we have bbq, ill have to check, and the girl who brought it to us squirted it right out of a bottle that was on the bar, she gave my water a sprite refill, brought a platter of smores without serving plates or napkins and we had to wait 10 min for the little grill to fire up, when it took 15 min for her to deliver them in the 1st place. So, yea food was good, service was comparable to a fast food restuarant!

There are so many other restaurants nearby that are worth going to. Had a group of 4 adults on a slow weeknight but the hostess had to walk around the restaurant passing 20 empty tables just to sit us right next to the hostess stand. We should have left then. Pizza is ridiculous! Paper thin, comes in only one small size, minimal toppings, flavorless, expensive. Ill take Pizza Hut over this place any day!! We ordered a pizza, 4 drinks and 2 appetizers. Everything was so small that it made the visit awkward, we were all still hungry and the bill was over $90. The atmosphere isnt anything special, service is slow and inattentive (Ive been a waitress but still left a $5 tip), just not worth it!

Another great restaurant option in downtown Woodstock. This is NOT just a pizza shop. There is a nice selection on a seasonal menu that really brings fresh options to a unique restaurant. There are lots of little touches that make the food and experience very nice. I wouldnt personally say this is a negative, but one thing I couldnt help noticing was that there seemed to be arugula used in almost every dish. It wasnt overwhelming, and often was more of a garnish, but I will say I specifically ordered cobbler for dessert to see if it would be used in some kind of creative way. All things considered, I highly recommend checking this one out for yourself.
