I went to eat here with my Colombian friend in hopes we had found a new Latin American yummy place to eat. We were disappointed by the fact their food was not authentic Latin American food at all. The only Latin American things on the menu were yuca fries and plantains (which were clearly frozen products from a Walmart or some other grocery store). I ordered the Spanish rice and was highly disappointed. I could have bought Spanish Rice A Roni and it would have tasted exactly the same. To add insult to injury our server was not attentive to us all. At the end when we told another server our grievances with the food, she came over and said she thought we were high schoolers. Im guessing that made it okay for her to neglect serving us. When we mentioned we were both teachers she acted as if she did not believe us and asked where we went to college and where we teach. The owner was at the restaurant the whole time and never once came to apologize for our experience personally, but he chewed out our server publicly. I would not ever recommend this restaurant to anyone! Especially if you are looking for Latin American food.

I want to start by saying that the food stands on its own -- everything is well-spiced, full-flavored, and delicious. The meats are lean and perfectly cooked. The chicken is surprisingly good for grilled white meat chicken - juicy and flavorful. The sides and appetizers are creative and have good depth of flavor. Good sangria (not too sweet) and great desserts top off the meal. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food came out quickly. Now, that being said, heres the kicker - my wife keeps Kosher style (no pork or shellfish), and I have to stay away from gluten, soy, and dairy. This is the first place in the city where we can BOTH eat almost the entire menu without having to substitute or sacrifice ANYTHING - especially taste. Because the staff is so conscious (every utensil is color-coded to make sure there is no cross-contamination), people with dietary restrictions can eat here without having to cross their fingers that they arent getting traces of things we shouldnt eat in our food due to careless employees. Overall, this place is just plain great -- not great for being healthy.

Last night we went to celebrate new years eve and had a very over priced okay meal with a Horrible service and tip forced on me of $60 dollars ... Tip is EARN not FORCED its very sad that a south American restaurant can NOT cook meat medium, a staple of any south American restaurant ...desserts for 2 should be for 2 people not one for the price per couple, Champlain should be unpaired with the price per couple not a 10 dollars bottle from publix served in little plastic cups, and to make things worst my server a Colombian girl left in the middle of dinner so we didnt have a server for the rest of the night ... Thank you fuego mundo for making of my new years eve celebration the worst ever ... And for everyone that is reading this review please be prepared for okay food bad service and a mandatory high tip for the worst service you can get in Atlanta ...

WAY too expensive for ridiculously small portions. Had the Argentinian Churrascaria ($18) with rice as one of the sides - the rice was hard and not edible and had obviously been sitting out for quite some time. Only about 10 pieces of fajita-style meat. Just tiny, tiny portions. We had to stop somewhere else on the way home for food. Also, the hamburger - DONT waste your time. There were hard things in it. Nothing special about the meat other than the grill used to cook it. I will never go back here and actually wish I could get my money back. ALso, agreed with one of the posts below - unless youre a jew, youre not made to feel welcome. On our way out, the manager in a white shirt didnt even say thank you or come back and see us.. after looking us up and down on the way out. Sick.

Dont confuse this for a steakhouse. Server corrected me on how I should order my steak....really? Just write down what I say, if I want it med-rare then thats what I want. I dont need you telling me I should have it medium. No REAL cheese for a cheeseburger (no bacon either), non-dairy chocolate desserts, $64 ribeyes, if memory serves. The food that made it to the table wasnt bad, but with all the limitations on the menu, Id stay away. Unless vegetarian, kosher, and GF is your thing. I would never bring anyone here, ever. Aside from the fact that this place isnt vegan-only, it reminds me of the vegan restaurant they visited in Grandmas Boy.

Fantastic Food, Great Atmosphere if a little small. The prices are also very good. The only thing I dont like about the place is the setup. You order up front and it gets delivered to you. Normally not a deal breaker, but this place gets packed for dinners and you find yourself waiting, and waiting just to order. Once you get the order in though, the food comes out pretty quick and is beyond delicious. All in all, the waiting and waiting in line is worth it, just wish it wasnt an issue to begin with.

Two visits in two weeks, and we only ate lunch because my co workers catch their Pokemn at the Prado. Both times slow, both times had issues getting refills on WATER. We had a group of 6 and 20% gratuity was added.... Not 20% service. I was also charged for $2.25 for a water. My $9.75 lunch with an extra $1 for upgraded fries cost me almost $17. Not going back, sorry co-workers... Pokemon are fake so this place will be vetod from now on.

Food is OK. No more than that. Portions are OK not huge. Service is Superb! (our waiter was phenomenal). In terms of prices these are extremely high even at Kosher standard, and be ready for 20% gratuity which is automatically added to your bill. Note that meat is kosher and grass fed so high price is somewhat understandable. Bottom line, there is no better steakhouse in Atlanta for Kosher dining.

I felt that the portions could have been larger, but my steak had more bone in it than meat and the price was way too high for the meal I ordered. The sangria I had ordered was water down by too much ice and all the fruit was stuck on the bottom making it taste like flavored water. The food itself had decent flavor, but I like more of the authentic flavors from South America and the Caribbean.

Great steaks with wonderful seasoning. The variety of South American appetizers made us happy, and we sampled a bunch of them. Felt the dishes were huge, and had trouble finishing them all. Love the open kitchen. Also have a great wine selection. Prices are high, but the quality matches the price. I wish their lunch menu was available on Sunday because the different offerings looked great.

Just ate here. If I had a chance to speak w/ the manager, I would have suggested he try some of the simple sides, such as the grilled veggies/mushrooms and quinoa, which were both very BLAND and not properly cooked. The quinoa was either old, reheated, overcooked, or all three. Mushrooms tasted like they dont believe in salt. Im guessing there are other underlying issues in that kitchen.
