Seemed like a good idea since I always appreciate a non-chain burger option. We showed up at 8pm on a Saturday night. The place was pretty full but we were able to find a table quickly as its occupants were leaving. We waited a good 20 minutes before a server came to get our drink orders. Once the drink orders were in, it took at least another 30 minutes to actually get the drinks, which gave us plenty of time to look over the menus. Luckily, I had the wonderful company of my girlfriend, and another friend to distract me from the feeling that my stomach was eating itself and that it took nearly an hour since we were seated before we finally got our food orders placed. Me and my friend got burgers, the girlfriend got some veggie sandwich. We waited at least an hour before the food arrived. By this point, I was so famished that they could have brought out a week-old White Castle slider and I would have thought it was gourmet. My burger tasted decent. It wasnt cooked how I ordered it, slightly undercooked, but Ill let that slide. The flavor and appearance of the burger was not outstanding, but decent. The fries were slightly limp, and lukewarm, evidence that they had probably been sitting for a least some portion of the hour it took them to get to our table. Our server was extremely apologetic and friendly. Its likely that none of this was her fault. Probably too few employees on a busy night. So we finally leave, and think that the bad experience is just limited to wasting two and a half hours of time for mediocre food. Wrong. Then a few hours later my girlfriend gets the final 915 kick in the teeth, food poisoning. Not just a little sick either, violently ill. This whole experience proves that when it rains it pours, and that there is no food service satire that cannot be matched by reality. Do yourself a favor, spend your time and "food" dollars somewhere else.

Met a friend here for a lunch and really enjoyed it for a couple of reasons. 1. The weather was nice, and we were able to sit outside. The atmosphere inside is more old school pub, doesnt feel super clean, but if you like the pub feel, youre good to go. 2. The service was tremendous. I forget the name of our server, but she was very, very friendly. She walked us through the menu and gave us very helpful tips - steering us away from one burger to a better one. She also was very generous on instructions for how the burger was made - extra garden, sauce, etc. 3. If you google this restaurant and coupon, you find like a $7 off coupon - perfect for a lunch. So, it was very affordable. As for the food, my friend and I both had the Black and Bleu burger. Delicious. Steak fries were good. I wasnt hungry at all as Id had a big breakfast, and I left nothing on the plate. Great neighborhood joint, and in Ft. Thomas, you have very limited options. Great for a meetup for lunch, or a beer in the evening.

Neighborhood Pub and Grill is a very deceiving persona for the 915. The name should be more like Filthy Dirty Pub With Extra Greasy, Tasteless Wings. We used to dine at the 915 but after several trips of horrible service and dirty atmosphere we limited ourselves to just carry out. We have since decided that there are not any redeeming qualities for the 915. We just ordered wings and after ordering 60 wings and being given only 2 tiny ranches for each order of 10 wings we asked for some extra ranch and they asked us to pay $1.00....are you kidding me! When we got home to eat our wings they were floating in flavorless grease. I tried to take a picture of the grease but the site would not let me upload the picture. Thank God BW3 is on its way to Newport!!!!

Great place to hit up on Wednesday nights - $5 for huge, fully-loaded burgers and fries? Yes, please. Gets a little smokey, but youre in the KY...its gonna happen. Drink specials arent bad, either - keeping the pint is always a plus. For a dive bar, its pretty solid.

This is a great little neighborhood place. Dont expect too much more. It is what it is. Folks are friendly. Food is really good. No smoking while kitchen is open. So that makes it an attractive option for an evening hangout.
