Horrible Experience with the hostess! I Iook my boyfriend here for his Birthday last weekend expecting to have a wonderful experience. He had never been but I met a friend of mines there for lunch once and I loved it. I made a 9pm reservation and the lady I spoke to said she would try to get us a circular booth, which was a bit more romantic than the others. When we arrived it was a few minutes to 9 so i let the host know we were there. To my surprise, she was a bit rude saying that they were behind in tables. She sort of ushered us away basicly saying to wait. I was okay with wait just not really not sure why she was so rude. Later we saw other people taking booths that came in after us. We asked the 2 hostess and they both seemed frantic (due to the volume of customers) but still rude. Myself and my boyfriend were calm when we approached the front. We were told that the side that we were waiting in was "seat yourself". But we were never told or didnt hear it due to the music. So the hostess talk to I believe one of the managers and sat us at a booth. She didnt give us an option to wait on our preferred both but was annoyed with us...and everything else I assume and just sat us. At that point I didnt want yo complain so we took the seat we were given and ordered. Our waiter was excellent. He was very professional and the environment is beautiful. However, the experience with the 2 hostess made it a bad start to my boyfriends birthday night. I just wish we had a better experience, especially since I was raving on how I loved the restaurant.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Something was wrong with their AC or at least in the area where we were seated. Our waiter Scott convinced us that we are getting a "deal" with two appetizer platters just to be blindsided with a $120+ bill on appetizers alone and charged for 8 different appetizers. Once I asked him about the bill he started to sweat and avoid eye contact, he said, I told you it is enough for 8 people, I never said you will be saving any money. I was very respectful and kept my cool but I told him that this is not a right way to earn repeating customers, he just said, I am not going to argue with you and he walked away. Prior to that he showed couple of attempts to kick us out of there, attempting to remove plates on front of guests. I understand working for tip but that does not mean placing your interest before one who you just tricked out of over $100. We did not complain on pricey drinks, we can choose to drink there or not. but presenting something as "good deal" and charge client over $120 because of appetizers I find unacceptable. There are plenty of places in Metro Atlanta to eat where our business is welcomed and I will make sure I bring my business to other places. Doing what Sage did to me I do not see them staying in business long. I would not recommend this place to anyone at this point.

The decor and ambiance was nice. It was a nice restaurant, lots of booths, and cool light fixtures. Its got a mellow feel to it and its dimly lit. They play some nice jazz like music. The service was ok, that being said, we have a very large group. Our waiter did his best, but may have been a little overwhelmed. He completely forgot to bring my silverware, despite reminding him twice, but it was probably due to all the different things going on at the table. As for the food. Everything looked amazing!! However, it didnt taste like anything exceptional. I ordered a Tavern Burger. The burger was pretty good and cooked to my liking. However, the bacon was extremely salty, which really turned me off. Also, the fish tacos were said to be average as well. However, the calamari was absolutely delicious, as well as the steak! The calamari was fried to the right point and was a little chewy but not too much. The steak looked juicy and was recommended by everyone who had it. The food came out within 15 mins of ordering and it was nice and warm. The average price for a meal on the menu seemed to be close to $12. Overall, it was an average place. There was nothing exceptional. The food isnt bad but not amazing. It would be fun to go on a date here or grab a quick lunch with co-workers.

Im actually sad to write this review because this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I stopped here after work and after working out to have dinner and to get some work done. I was not at all greeted warmly at the hostess station and although I said I did not want to sit at the bar because it was too loud in the lounge I was quickly direct it to sit in the lounge when I protested and said no I want to sit in the dining room I was brought to a tiny table in the back which was not to my liking. When I asked for a booth I was brought back up to the front of the restaurant and told that I could not have a booth because every booth in the restaurant was reserved for the night... lets keep in mind that this was at 5:30 PM and I was dining alone so I doubt I would have impacted a reservation at seven or 8 oclock. I was then directed to the moose in the lounge next to the bar which was very very loud in right next to the front door. Needless to say I felt as though what I was wearing, the fact that I was dining alone, or some other insignificant issue was prompting them to give me poor service but I will never return . I went down the street to another restaurant and dined alone happily spending $100 for just myself! They have just lost a customer

Went here for the first time for a friends birthday! Had an absolutely wonderful time! The server was the best! The food was excellent and had an even better time after the D.J. started at 10 p.m.. This place has very nice seating outside and the bar area is illuminated in blue, which makes it beautiful. The only issue that we had was we had an area reserved in the bar area and three guys who were not with us sat in our area and refused to move but the manager compensated us with complimentary appetizers for the entire table. That helped a lot. From there it was only uphill as the restaurant has a great vibe and the energy is magnetic. Although the dance floor is small we still had a great time on the floor until it got crowded. Although I dont eat steak, my friends that do eat steak said that the steak is some of the best steak that theyve have ever had. Obviously I love libations, I had some kind of grapefruit martini which was delicious! After the drinks stared flowing , the D.J. came on and he really played some good music! I think its about time that I go there again. This is the kind of place that you would want to go with your close friends and/or close coworkers and release the pressure of the week!
