After waiting an extremely long time to be seated, we all ordered. Along with the slow service, we never received refills. Two of us ordered cheese dip, but only one was brought to us. After asking for the second one, we noticed a small hair in the bowl. We simply set the cheese dip aside and disregarded it. When the second bowl of cheese dip was brought out, there was yet another hair in the second bowl. We told the server and she brought out the manager. We explained the situation and he told us that the bill would be taken care of. He ended up only taking off the cheese dips that we did not eat and offered no discount for the dirty food we had been given. Once we asked for a discount he only took off 50 cents. They seemed to have no remorse for the bad service or dirty food. I will make sure all of my family and friends dont come back.

This one is the standard in the area. Its the way you want Mexican food to taste, the way you want it to look and smell, great, fast service, and a relaxing environment, every single time. They do it right. My only complaint is that they are ALWAYS PACKED. You never have to wait long for a table, but you will have a very hard time finding parking on the weekends. I avoid this place on the weekend but Ill go there any weekday. The service is great and friendly if you are friendly. If you are like some of the locals, rude to the servers, have an attitude, etc, they might just give it back to you. But if you are nice to them like you should be because they are serving you food, they are very nice and give excellent, fast service. Best Mexican food in the area, easily.

!!!!!!WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!! I was stuck between two waiters that felt my table position was the other waiters job. When I finally asked server "A" for service, I got minimum service because he though he was doing server "B"s job. When I switched to server "B", I got the same behavior because she thought she was doing server "A"s job. It took almost 1.5 hours before I could get served and leave -and I ate alone. I had to steal a menu from another table. I got drink zero refills and had to wait about 20 minutes AFTER asking for my check. This is the only restaurant I visited whereby I did not provide a tip.

I dont know where Google gets the idea that this place is vegetarian friendly because its far from it. As a vegetarian, I was really disappointed in this restaurant. We were told by our waiter that all their rice and sauces are made with chicken stock and they have no vegetarian alternatives. They do still have some items you can order, but no beans, rice or sauces. My meal was average was best. My husband is not a vegetarian and his burrito was just so-so as well. Other restaurants in the area (especially El Ranchero in Peachtree City) have a much wider and tastier vegetarian selection.

Normally I would give this place 5 stars. The food is normally awesome, staff friendly and a great atmosphere. Tonight they seemed a little off their game. Cold cheese for the dip appetizer, tried new menu item.......did not fare well....actually was not even spec to menu description and margarita was almost all sour mix, among other things. Apparently this was an off night for this place. "Normally" this is my go to for Mexican in the area for the past 10 years....but my normal may have to change if this has become their new norm.

Run dont walk away from this place. The food is heavily laden with greasy cheese in an effort to cover up old or rotten produce. My husband ordered a veggie burrito. Normally a healthier option. Not at this place! I order a small order of nachos. Couldnt even find the chips. This was the best part of the meal. A few hours after we got home my husband started throwing up and vomited violently for 9 hours and spent the following day recovering. I did report this to the Heath department for follow up but please do not eat here!

This place has gone down hill...we ate here last night around 8:30 didnt notice my glass was grossly dirty until I drank half my coke...it made me sick...the glass had dried salsa on it...it had never been washed made me so sick !! Went to the ladies room and it was so nasty as well...never going back!!! I told the manager and he just looked at me for 30sec.and then said sorry what would you like foe me to do maam...I said WHAT DO YOU SIR THINK YOU SHOULD DO??? UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

The most nastiest place Ive ever eaten that it even a vacuum in was so how the hell can you have a Mexican restaurant where you dont have the Mexican spice cumin do not waste your money dont waste your time and you cannot see eat peas cuz its so damn loud these freaking judge Auntie Annes dont know a damn thing about the Mexican food they are f***** up in the head, if I could give him no stars without posting that I would do not wish it damn phone

The food is fine. About the same as other Mexican restaurants. We were checked on by 3 different people every few minutes. There is a line between good service and pestering the customer. They crossed it. This place is always crowded and loud. I just dont go there unless I have to. Go to El Rancheros instead. They arent fancy but its good food less expensive and you can hear yourself think.

Dont listen to Jill H. La Parilla Newnan, GA is very busy on Friday and Saturday night especially. So plan on waiting or just get there early. Grab a cold beverage at the bar and chat with friends or make new ones. The food is awesome. I suggest you try the Taco Loco on a budget or go for the Tampiqueña Steak. Fun atmosphere, great food & drinks, and lots of locals. Enjoy! Tom S.

Best La Parilla location there is. Been to most all the metro Atlanta area, we used to live in the North Atlanta Suburbs. The Newnan location is way beyond those in the northern suburbs and Midtown (Howell Mill). Every single person that works at the Newnan location has the best attitude and is very helpful and attentive to every customer. We love going to this location.

The food doesnt taste that great. Had the spicy queso with ground beef, the super enchiladas, and 2 hard beef tacos. The service was good through. The interior is clean and decorated very nicey. None of the food is spicy and it just doesnt have a good flavor. Its not Mexican food and tastes almost like its microwaved food. Nice place, but not for me.

This is a nice little Mexican restaurant. I see one reviewer said it was too expensive, but I constantly get coupons in the mail that allows me and my wife to eat here for nine bucks. How is that too expensive? If I have one complaint it is that the place is a little small and the tables seem a little crammed together.

Way too crowded for the poor service they offer.. asked for margaritas on the rocks with no salt and they brought salted glasses. When we asked for unsalted glasses, the server wiped off the glasses and handed them back to us. The servers name is Ismael. He does not enjoy his job.
