The first time we visited we had to wait about 20 minutes for our food. It was very disorganized and busy. We werent impressed. The salads we had were very good so we decided to give them another try last weekend on a Saturday evening. We got our drinks at the beverage bar, sat down and were surprised to have our food delivered to our table in less than two minutes! It was so fast, My wife and I at first thought they must have had the wrong table but it was our order! Im not sure why there are so many negative complaints. Perhaps as we found on our 1st visit there was a lot to be negative about. Perhaps there was a management change or corporate has tried to address the issues that they were experiencing. To address some of the negative comments; one person complained that she was told they only have one size drink. Thats because they have a self-serve beverage area so you can have whatever volume of beverage you want of any flavor they offer. She than commented that when asked for extra dressing she was given two very small containers. But she failed to mention that they have a dressing bar where you can get as much dressing as you want. If I could leave a suggestion for management, it would be to pay attention to the beverage area and the dressing bar area. Unfortunately, people are in a hurry and tend to be sloppy without cleaning up when they make a mess, I guess they dont feel its their responsibility to clean up their mess so it falls on the employees to monitor these areas to make sure they are clean and well supplied. I think this is an area for improvement. Im not usually one to take the time to write a review but in this instance thought it was justified as our 2nd experience was quite favorable. The food was very good and quite reasonably priced. We probably will return here for another meal.

OVERALL IMPRESSION: A little over priced for serving size Bland and/or over cooked Fast service SPECIFICS The time: Drive thru order about noon on Wednesday. The order: Grilled chicken platter with two sides (black beans and yellow rice with veggies) and an order of cheesy yucca bites. Platter order was correct but received (and only paid) for Regular yucca bites The price: $10.89 The food: I opened my plate to find two small, sickly chicken breasts, a medium scoop of rice, and a small plastic cup (5.5 oz) of black beans that was 2/3 full. The chicken was dry and over cooked and under seasoned. The black beans were acceptable but not great. The rice was indeed yellow but also under seasoned with an occasional green pea and carrot piece. I saw no broccoli pieces which I was informed was part of the veggies. The 6 yucca bites were luke warm and bland. I know yucca doesnt have much flavor in and of itself but still my impression was bland. One piece did indeed have a pea sized piece of cheese in it which was not melted. The service: The drive thru attendant was nice enough and did offer to help me with the menu when I asked for a minute to decide since it was my first time there. There was one car in front of me and I waited about 2 minutes. My order was ready when I reached the window.

I think management needs to get it together if you treat your employees right their treat your customers right and there make sure they put everything you ordered in your bag I went to this restaurant when they first opened up and my food was not done all the way so I figured maybe its because they had opened up and they didnt have enough people that was experience in the kitchen part it was really busy that day also so I waited a couple of months and I figured Id try it out again so I went through drive-thru and I ordered tropichop bowl as we pulled up to the window the manager was getting on an employee I felt like he should have waited till she was done with us and pulled her in the office and said what he had to say to her the second night I went there we went inside we ordered our food to go and half of the stuff that we ordered we did not get when I called up there they told me they were sorry they was out of it and I will have to come back the next morning and talk to a manager to get my items replaced but to top it all off when I check the rest of my order my food was cold and I was still missing items off my rice bowl I guess when they get new management Ill try it again

I visited this restaurant on 08/22/2016. Immediately I noticed that whoever opened this franchise did so with one objective in mind: To make the most amount of money for the least amount of effort. To meet their objective, they changed the pricing and menu options from the original Pollo Tropical found in Florida. They even use deceptive marketing practices. The pictures on the menu appear to come with meat, rice, and beans as standard food items. However, if you want rice and beans with your order you must pay extra $$ because they count the rice and beans as sides. In the end, you pay more for less. Also, they do not offer the combo or trio meals as the restaurants in Florida. While the food is edible and the service is adequate, the pricing and food selection leaves much to be desired.

Couldnt find the zero star option. Gave this place three tries which is quite a bit for me. Service is pitiful, they always forget to put everything you ordered in your to go bag. I highly suggest you check your order before leaving. We have tried them three times, all different times of the day as well, noonish, mid afternoon and one evening. Each time not really busy...and each time they didnt have chicken ready. I went outside and checked the sign, sure enough it says Pollo which I thought meant chicken. Its a sad state of affairs there, I dont expect them to stay open much longer than a year. Such a shame other locations in Atlanta have much better customer service and food quality.

I give this place ZERO STARS!!!!!! This place is terrible!!! Every time I have tried to eat here, they are out of what Im trying to order. They run out of beans, pork, rice... its insane! I cant even believe they are still open. And the guy behind the counter was a jerk and treated me like I was just another item in his assembly line. FEBRUARY 12, 2017: Today, we were told in the drive-through that they dont have Avocados today!!!!!!! They are advertising the NEW Avocado bacon wrap! We ordered that and were told "we dont have avocados today." We left. Who owns this place???

DO NOT EAT HERE! Their menu DOES NOT list that they put tomatoes, onion and peppers in the salad. Very miss leading. Glad I dont have a food allergy. We asked for extra dressing and we got two tiny cups about the size of a half dollar. Ridiculous! Asked for a large drink and was told they only have one size. The flan tasted like chalk. We were unable to eat any of our lunch. We ended up throwing away their product to go to another restaurant. A restaurant like this wont last long in Newnan. We were very disappointed and will not be back.
