Unfortunately, a poor experience. As soon as we sat down, two of the three employees we interacted with were trying to get us out the door. The methods they employed to do that were direct and transparently false. Soon after sitting down and before food arrived we were informed it was a friday night and they were busy so wed need to hurry. The restaurant was never more than 1/2 full during our meal and at the time of her comment, painfully empty. After our meal, we were informed that they had a reservation for our table, which no one seemed to take. All in all we spent approximately 80-90 minutes there. One employee we interacted with was quite pleasant and joyful - seemed to want to share her food with us and just friendly. I would not return.

The worst restaurant that is hooked are racist and do not cater to blacks and Hispanics who enter the restaurant. In my experience they refused to prepare the food we wanted and we were served what the owner of the restaurant wanted us to be drinking water forces did not want to serve us sodas or beers never came napkins when calling the waitress (owner) we ignored the bill We deliver it when barely half eaten and in a bad way a Hispanic employee we try to attend politely and the owner humiliated him in front of all customers (in my opinion is a bad and disgusting place with a racist owner who does not want Hispanics and blacks already That in the discussion was expressed lousy of the trans black and Hispanic

I called ahead to make a reservation for three people. Two of us arrived first, so the hostess assumed we were a reservation party of two without asking me my name or how many of us would be there total. We were barely at our table for two minutes before the waitress wanted our order. Wed never been here before, so we asked for some time, and her response was "this is reservation table, very busy, so you choose quickly." Mind you, the restaurant never got full the entire time we were there. Once the meat finished cooking, but not before we finished eating, they dropped the check at the table. Granted, the food was delicious, but the staff was far from hospitable. We wont be going back.

I love Korean food (I was station in Korea for over 6 years) and there are many places in Georgia and the Metro area to get Korean food. Some are better than others and Tofu Village is a great place if you are looking for real Korean food prepared the traditional way. The service was on point and the food was awesome. My daughter suggested this TOFU VILLAGE MARIETTA, GA and we now make plans to go there at least every two months. Great place if you know Korean food and a great place if you want to start enjoy this fine food. Well worth the drive even if you live in the southern metro area.

I ordered lunch bulgogi and it was delicious, came with many sides and tasted authentic. Food quality was 5 stars. Unfortunately, the customer service was not. When we asked for lunch, the waitress said no because it is past 3pm, even if I had called ahead to make sure it was ok. When she finally looked at her watch and saw that it was only 2:30pm she said "ok fine lunch". Already, we felt unwelcome. The entire time there, I felt uncomfortable with the servers who were unfriendly with their tone and did not know how to treat new customers. Very judgmental servers.

This is a review of just one dish called "Jjamppong." This spicy noodle dish is a staple in Korean restaurants, one which diners often choose for a reliable and simple meal. Sadly, Tofu Villages take on this classic dish is a regrettable failure. The savory spicy broth is more akin to that of instant noodles. The noodles themselves were not the correct kind. And what is bok choy doing in there? All in all, Tofu Villages Jjamppong was lazy, inept and overpriced ($13.77 tax included).

One person from my party was not allowed to order from the vegetarian menu because we were seated at a BBQ table. This was very inconvenient. You cannot tell someone that they need to sit at another table because they are vegetarian. We had no choice but to leave or move our party to another seat and not eat BBQ. The food looked great, I wish we could have eaten there. Korean restaurants are usually very considerate towards vegetarians, but this place is an exception.

My wife and I frequent this restaurant once a month or so. It is one of our favorites. The owner and workers are extremely nice and make you feel at home. The atmosphere is very family style and relaxed. The food is great!! My favorite here is the jae yuk bok um (Spicy Pork). My wife likes to order the soon do bu (Tofu Stew). On special occasions we will eat at the BBQ tables as that is a bit pricey.

Food was Hot. Didnt really like the broccoli side dish. Cucumber could have been spicier. My sweet tea was not sweet. But I was able to put sugar in it that was supplied at the table. Waitress was polite and checked on us a couple of times until few more tables filled up. Took longer than I expected to get my bill to leave. Atmosphere was relaxing. I really did enjoy the food.

food is great but bbq is a bit overpriced for the amount you are getting. Illme is just as great and in Marietta and half the price. This place has more selections and I enjoy the tofu stew. Great as long as you dont eat a lot of meat. Friendly service, great atmosphere. I would definitely eat there again, if someone else is paying.

Tofu Village Korean BBQ is probably the best Korean restaurant in this county. The tofu here is good, very tender and melt-in-your-mouth yummy. Everything else, including the galbi and banchan was good as well. The service and decor was good too. Perfect for business lunch or large gatherings with friends and family.

This is really a very good place -- our favorite Korean restaurant. The wait staff and owner are always very friendly, the Korean BBQ is great, and it has a nice atmosphere. They dont skimp on the banchan (side dishes). My wife and kids love it, so its a nice place to go for a family dinner.

The food was delicious and the service was good, but rushed. However, the atmosphere was lacking. Went on a Friday night and there was no music, just silence... top 40, k pop, even traditional Korean music, please!

The workers are very rude. The food is good but expensive. Its twenty bucks for 5 pieces of samgupsal. And if you order two barbecue for three they will only give the salad and sides for two. The food taste ok.

Maybe slightly overpriced, but the service is VERY good. I am not Korean, but Ive been to Korea. The food may not be 100% authentic, but it is good nonetheless. I recommend Tofu Village without reservation.
