I too drove across town, about 27 miles, for the BBQ that I had come to love only to find out that the taste is not the same and the prices are much higher. I hadnt had the ribs in a very long time because of the move. When they were on Westmont I would visit weekly because it WAS delicious, reasonably priced, and convenient. I think the move is the worst thing that they couldve done. They say if its not broken dont fix it. And it wasnt broken in any way. Then they have the nerve to direct you to the Metropolitan location which is a total joke. I swear someone I know just had ribs that were old and cooked in the oven and didnt have a hint of BBQ flavor. Nor did they taste as if they were from the Mustard Seed. They were horrible to say the least. I will not make that drive again to neither location....

Me and some co-workers drove to this restaurant on our lunch break only to find out that the credit card machine was down. We didnt know the machine was down until after half the party had ordered and paid for in. The cashier kept blaming it on Comcast but did nothing to accommodate the other half of the party which could not order and wasted their lunch times. Not only was the credit card machine out of commission but the only two menus that we were available for viewinh had half of the items marked out with a pen . Needless to say I will not be visiting this establishment again until a reconstruction has been made.

Well, I was giving Mustard Seed support due to great BBQ I had at the other location. Also, Im familiar with the owner. I came for the breakfast special on Valentines Day. I feel as if they did great with having a combo of Fish & Grits, omelettes made to order and French toast. All of that for $14. Yes Ive read the other reviews which seem pretty harsh. I feel as if people should give this restaurant room to grow into their new location. Things wont be perfect for only being open 2 months or less. You have to grow and expand. Why stay in the hood and small? Today Im about to eat some ribs.

My feelings were hurt. Before they moved to the burbs they had the best bbq , mac and cheese and baked bean trio in the city.I spent hundreds of $ on family feasts. Then they moved.It took a while but I finally took the 18 mile journey to the new location. Bought $60 worth of food. Oh my God. The food is horrible. Bbq tastes like it was cooked in the oven. It was literally the worst piece of meat ive ever had.Mac& cheese tasted like plain salted noodles. I understand why the restaurant was completely empty. Come on fellas go back to what you do best. Pit bbq..P

Very disappointed. The restaurant was recommended by a friend, so we tried it. Three of us ordered different items from the menu, and all were disappointed. After paying $12 for a pulled pork sandwich and fries to go, no beverage, I expected far better. Gobs of fat greeted me when I opened the sandwich. After sifting through and removing the fat, there wasnt much sandwich left. I tried a bite or two, but had to throw it away. The fries were soggy with grease. The meal was not edible at all. I rarely write reviews, but this was bad. :-(

Someone at work bought it for a meeting. I was in heaven. The food is stupendous. Drove 22 miles to try other items on menu. I gave it a 3 because the customer service was horrendous but I came for the food. No assistance w/ my questions from the rude cashier. Two cashiers and they both were talking with another person that worked there but was off duty. Cashier acted like I was interrupting when I asked questions. Paid and when I was given my change I said thank you cashier didnt reply but walked in the back. WTH

Just tried this place for the first time. I was excited because living in Fairburn we dont have that many options when it comes to dining out. I was highly disappointed. The food was a little pricey for the quality it was. The ribs were super tough, the greens were too salty, and the mac n cheese was dry and flavorless. I was hoping the food would be as good as the establishment looked. But it wasnt. Eventually I will give this place one more try and see how it goes.

The food was great, they severed me pulled turkey but they havent had any in about a month. How do you serve food on you menu one time and dont have any turkey in Stock for a month now. That sucks
