I have mixed feelings about this place. The catfish that I had was pretty good. And the sweet potato pie I picked up for dessert was as well. But the problem that I was having was not with the food.... it was with the customer service or should I say the lack there of. Being it was my first time there i asked the person serving the food what some of my options were as I didnt understand it being my first time there. The young lady then placed my take out container in front of another food server and walked off with no explanation as if I were wasting her time. And the funny thing was that there wasnt even anybody else on the line besides me and my son. After I paid for my food I was told that I would have to wait for my filet catfish as it was not ready yet. As I waited for my catfish it began to get busy at the counter the cashier then barks at me that Im in the way and I respond with well where would you like me to wait ...she then rolled her eyes and says by the takeout area. And where is that I say I dont see any signs. She then points to an area on the left side of a partition that separates itself from the cash register. But you wouldnt know it to look at it because it looks like its part of the dining room area. I thought it was total miscommunication on the part of the staff, after all Im not a psychic!! And you cant assume that everyone who comes in to your business has been there before. I therefore give the food a seven out of 10. 10 being the best. And I rate the customer service at a 3 out of 10. I think they should change their name to: " THIS IS BULLS#*IT" !!!

The last few times I have been to this location the women working the bar have been rude and just tired acting. One young lady was complaining to the customer about how tired she was from going to work and school. The customer looked like she could care less about it. Overall the staff acts like they are just so burned out, are rude and actually gave me the wrong food after I waited over 20 minutes for the food. I had to wait while they recooked my order but they offered me a free drink which I did take. I have also observed the cook in the back eating as he cooks... I wont be back however because I recently discovered that they had a health food score of 59. When I went in the restaurant they had an old score of 90 something posted, I will not eat here again. Update from 2 stars to one... Went in today, 9/21/16 to retrieve food for a friend, after waiting for the food I get it home and the food is wrong yet again. This is it is a HOT MESS and Im no longer even willing to go pick food up for another person from there. Call back up there and the man says bring in a receipt, speak to a manager and the will do something. What the hell will be ate tonight is my question, we paid you tonight, yet we have nothing to eat tonight... just a hot ghetto mess!

2 1/2 STARS: My food was just ok. I ordered a large $12 cornbread dressing so me and my daughter could share. BTW: they gave me 4 super tiny containers of cranberry sauce. I didnt complain b/c I had some at home. It was decent for fast food. The mac & cheese was ok. The green beans and the collard greens were good as well. I am really not one that cares for vinegar flavor on my veggies. My daughter thought they were good but she likes vinegar. Now, for reasons that I did not appreciate: my friend wanted a side of chopped chicken. The charge was $10. They would not deviate from the fee. I had to purchase the entire meal just to get the side of chicken. When I brought the chicken to her she said it was very dry. My bill was $31 plus change. Large Dressing $12; Side of Chicken + 4 sides; 2 beverages ; slice of sweet potato pie $4= $31. Would I return: probably if I want to eat quick and just veggies. I wanted to know what brand of chicken they used. But I forgot to ask b/c I was distracted at the fact there was no salad option. Oh well.

This is NOT it! Overall, a very poor experience. We will not return and we will share this experience with our network so they do not have a similar experience. The good: • The catfish fillet, mac & cheese, and sweet potato casserole were good. • The chairs in the seating area were comfortable. The bad: • The ribs no longer taste smoked. They taste boiled with smoke flavoring added. • The womens restroom was clean but didnt have supplies (toilet paper, hand towels). Makes we wonder how employees maintain sanitary working conditions. • The mens room urinals nor toilet were not flushed. It was really disgusting. I suggest automatic flushing valves installed. The ugly: • We waited at least 30-minutes before finally receiving what we ordered. • Order processing was the worst Ive experienced. After the 5th attempt, they got it right but didnt offer any explanation or compensating response. • Customer service was minimal. At least some guy from the back said "sorry," but he didnt introduce himself as a manager.

Horrible customer service and it came straight from the cashier not even a care in the world I hope they fix Pams attitude. Please make sure you swipe your card correctly she may get upset. She should really take that type of attitude to McDonalds or something. When youre spending 20.38 for a plate and someone gets upset because I stuck my chip in and I was supposed to swipe thats a bit much. I then told her I really dont like your tone she replied thats fine.. Ha I said Im sure and walked away I got not even four feet and Pam shouted I dont have time to play with people children I turned around so fast and checked her ass bottom line this food isnt worth driving 45 mins to get somewhere and. Be so disrespected that I almost said you know what I dont even want to pay anymore.. But by the way that went Im pretty sure this isnt the first time shes had an issue of some sort smh wont be back

I must say this was a bad experience, it was my first time, really didnt know how the ordering , the employees wasnt smiling you could see their attitude, I really didnt want two sides, I just told here what I wanted and she was very rude about you get two sides and not a dessert...ok I think they need a nice class on how to treat a guest because when I go out and choose a restaurant I go for how they appreciate me for coming to their place of business whe we have several to choose from. As an owner I think that should be the # 1 priority teaching you employees how to treat a guest in your place of business because if they cant treat your guest with respect they shouldnt be there. And I will say I think you have a good thing going but your employees are ruining your business because personally I will not be coming back. Very disappointed......
