Classic southern style pulled pork BBQ at its best. This is the original Williamson Bros BBQ location. They have at least two others around town that Im aware of, and here in the south theyve grown popular enough that you can even buy their sauces in Kroger. But youll see the secret to their success when you walk in the door, youll find a fire and youll see smokers. True slow roasted pork over smoke. They have other things including chicken and ribs, but you need to at least try the pulled pork to see what its really like. Now sauce is a regional religious issue. Traditional Georgia style sauce is vinegar based, you get a mustard base in the Carolinas, etc. Never fear, Williamson Bros has all flavors available each from their own recipe, so you can sloth on whatever suits your taste buds. I like a traditional sweet and spicy style personally. My tip for you as a regular... Its not on the menu but for a couple of bucks more you can make any of the BBQ platters "all you can eat" and re-order not only meat but any of their yummy side items as well. Dont forget to try the Brunswick stew, fantastic!

All around not worth it. I was the only one who didnt get meat, and out of our party of 8, I was the only one who didnt spend the rest of the night by the porcelain throne. My friends order got lost so she and her boyfriend wound up waiting over an hour to get their food to go instead of eating with us. My parents and my fiance and I got screwed with pricing SOMEHOW. I still dont know how. We got a little thing of fried okra, a pint of mac and cheese, my parents shared a $25 plate of ribs and my fi got a $15 item and we wound up paying almost $75. A good $75 that would have bought us a less food-poison-y boat of sushi just about anywhere. When we talked to the manager (about my friends missing meals) he tried to just say oops and sorry and leave it at that rather than trying to rectify the situation. I wouldnt typically just say never again to ANY food place (give em a fair chance, right?) but Ive had better mac and cheese and since thats all I would order again here, Ill find a safer, tastier, and more organized restaurant to eat at next time.

I came to GA from FL for a weekend visit with my family and we wanted to eat some BBQ. So I googled the closest location. The place smelled amazing. BUT....The spare ribs and chicken where Dry, Dry, Dry! Sub-Par Potato Salad, Baked Beans and Mac N Cheese. The potato skins where full of (Dry)meat and little to no potato. The best part of the meal was My Coke. And to top it off my waitress gave major shade. I make it point to speak up and to give eye contact while in public as it shows respect. My waitress kept saying, Huh? And Pardon? As if I wasnt speaking clearly and directly. And finally I waited 10mins after my check arrived, No waitress, so I desided to walk over to the hostess to see if I paid up front. My waitress bolted in front of me outta no where as if I was walking out on the debacle of a meal. I will never waste my pallet on this place again. If I could give a negative 5 Stars I would. Nasty Food, Employees and Atmosphere. If you happen to pass this spot, please continue to do just that. PASS!

Very dissapointed. My husband and I went here based on all reviews. The outside smells amazing, smoked bbq. The inside was quaint and unique, you get a cracker barrel feel. We were first seated in the very back (past the indoor smoke grill area), the smoke was so heavy it burned my eyes and we had to moved. The menu had a lot of choices, the price was competitive with all the higher end bbq places. However the BBQ was not very good. The sauce to me tasted like sloppy joe mix (which they have on the menu). The plate my sandwich was served on barely encompassed the food (the sandwich was on a small hamburger buns so portion size was not the problem. Fries were a-la-cart, it to came on a very small serving dish. I felt like my fries were dragging across the table (gross). Even the server said let me get you a bigger plate so I dont feel like Im eating off the table ... Guess Im spoiled to Fox brothers and price was the same.

The slaw was good, and thats about the only positive comment that I can muster up for this place. The "barbecue" beef tasted like pot roast with sauce and the fries were limp instead of crisp. There was a small smoke ring on the meat but it completely lacked any bark. I should have known better than to try this place even though it was recommended to me because 1) its in Georgia and I havent had good barbeque from a restaurant in Georgia ever. 2) the parking lot doesnt smell like wood smoke I suspect that the food is oven cooked after a brief stint in an industrial smoker and then hidden in sauce. 3) a random cut of beef is not brisket. Williamson Bros is to barbecue what Taco Bell is to Mexican Food. A sad excuse but people seem to like it but I couldnt even bring myself to eat it after two bites. $13 for coleslaw and fries.

I love this BBQ! However the last couple of times that I purchased a slab of ribs I was a put off by what was insinuated by the packaging. They placed the fresher lighter colored ribs on top in the container. This happened more than once. Even though I know all of the bones were not from the same slab. Some were obviously prepared earlier. But they were all delicious!!! The person that prepared my food was conscious about the appearance. It appeared to be an attempt to hide the older ribs beneath the newer ones. Please dont do this!!!! If you cant show it. You shouldnt serve it!! Other than that. Great food.

Tried it for the first time tonight and probably wont be going back. We were both unimpressed with the chicken that we ordered. It was boiled and tasteless and the sauce unfortunately did not compliment it at all. The slaw had loads of sugar in it and was way too sweet. The portions were small for the price and our service wasnt great. Our waitress was rushed and asked us if we wanted to order yet because she was really busy. I had high expectations and was pretty let down overall.

Been eating here for over 15 years. Pork is the best and outside cut is delicious. Every time my son goes he has a pint of Brunswick stew. I can no longer eat Brunswick stew anywhere but here, nothing anywhere is as good. Sides are good too but stick to he standard BBQ sides. Green tomatoes have a lot of coating but are good. Iced tea is served in giant cups. You can see the meat cooking in the pit. Sauce is the best if you like tomato base but they have a lot more.

I am from NC, where I am accustomed to "Lexington-style" BBQ. This is the next best thing. They catered our wedding, as well, which went smoothly. Make sure you ask before ordering the green beans. They get different kinds depending on the season. Their preferred kind is the best anywhere. The other just tastes canned. Thats a weird thing to care about at a BBQ place, but those are some might fine green beans! The brunswick stew is also delicious!
