Right off the bat, I gotta say that the Grecian Plaki was out of sight. My wifes lasagna, however, left something to be desired. She said that it tasted like it hadnt baked long enough. I dont think she really wanted lasagna. She would have liked to have had a little more time to look at the menu, but we were told that a large party was coming for Greek Night, and we had to clear out before they got there. That left us with about 45 minutes to sit down, order, eat, and vamoose. This really put a damper on what might otherwise have been a nice experience. We opted to skip the appetizer and dessert in the interest of time, much, Im sure, to the understandable chagrin of our server. I hope the Greek Night folks tipped her well, as Im sure the other rushed patrons ordered less (and therefore tipped less) than they otherwise would have. (Side note: we had a very nice dessert at...wait for it...Dairy Queen! Nobody told us to scram. The service was great. The ice cream was great. Dairy Queen was great. Aint that a shame?) Im all for the big parties. Bringem on. But dont rush your other customers. If theyre not willing to wait the hour or so it might take to offer them a proper dining experience, oh well. Let them go and hope they come back. Dont lure people in with a 15 minute wait and then tell them they have to rush through their meal. Im sure well try them again at some point to see what a "typical" dining experience is like there. But well have to let this last visit fade from our memories a bit first. Try the Plaki. Seriously. Also, go to Dairy Queen for dessert.

1st time here. Loved it! I had the the Tour of Greece entree and enjoyed every bite. Wonderful spices, superb grilling. For a Saturday night we were able to park right next to the entrance. Quality dining at affordable prices. Each entree ran about $15 and so stuffed by the end, no room for dessert. Our server was Frankie, she works Tues and Saturdays and was a delight, made us feel very welcomed and she added real character to the place. While it was loud because of others diners talking, my husband and I were able to carry on our conversation with no problems. Love the variety on the menu, plan to try something else new next time. Husband had the Shrimp Alfredo and was in awe when not only did he have plenty of sauce but also a few shrimp left. Thats rare for him as this is his favorite dish. Salad was plentiful with cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions and several different greens. The bread was garlic rolls, so soft, like pillows made from flour and seasoned with garlic and butter. YUM! Fancy without being pretentious. We will be going back and making this one of our regular spots for excellent food and atmosphere. A must if you like Greek or Italian.

This is an excellent restaurant! Located in old town Hirum, our latest visit was in the middle of a weekday around 230pm so we were the only patrons. This is the 2nd time to visit and both times the food and customer service had been the best. Peyton was our server this last visit and she was skillful in being attentive to our needs without being intrusive. The food was great and the atmosphere relaxing. Pictured is the Greek Combo and the Eggplant Parmasian that came with salad and excellent dinner rolls. Highly recommend you visit. You wont regret it.

The air in this establishment smelled awesome, I was ready to break my diet and indulge in their food. Unfortunately I sat for fifteen minutes ( and they were not really busy) without anyone coming to take my order or offer me refreshments, and they kept walking by as if I didnt exist! Rule #1 to a great restaurant is Service Service Service! It all starts at the door. Unfortunately I cannot rate the quality of their food only the poor hospitality I received. With that being said obviously I found lunch elsewhere!

Always Leave Full and Happy! Their Trio with fried pita bread served with individual cups of garlic hummus, tzatsiki, and roasted red pepper hummus is to die for! I could make a meal out of that alone! My favorite dish is the Eggplant Parmesan but everything Ive ever ordered here has not disappointed. I also love their house dressing The staff is ALWAYS friendly and efficient! Often times the owner will stop by and check on things. Love this place! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This restaurant has the best staff Ive ever encountered. The owners were wonderful and always attentive. The food is excellent. The spanakopita is to die for. The Greek salad is excellent as well as their pizza, and my husband is a pizza nut. We are now regulars and have also had a large group party there which everyone loved. The old building is unique and the atmosphere is great for couples or families with kids. The Olive Tree is an unexpected gem in a small town.

I might be a bit bias because this is were my fiancé proposed to me but this is one of our favorite date nights. All their Greek food is amazing. If you are looking for Italian I will remind you that this restaurant is primarily Greek and though they have similar dishes there is a variance to traditional flavors. Any time we have a guest in town we bring them here. Start with cheese saginocki, order chicken souvlaki, end with tatamisu for desert

This little restaurant offers some of the best Greek food this side of Atlanta, or possibly this side of the Atlantic. The Gyros were amazing, and the eggplant parmesan was mind melting. The price may be a little higher than other restaurants in the area but it is well worth it, and the cocktails are fairly priced as well. This place is a definite recommendation for anyone living in or visiting the area.

Food was excellent! My fiance and I went there and it was our first visit..we loved it. We got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and both got salads. I got the lasagna and my fiance got the Chicken parm...they were both huge portions and very delicious!!! Our service was great as well...overall a great experience and was very reasonably priced. We will be going there for Italian from now on.

My first time there, pleasant atmosphere, family oriented, good food, good service. Only issue was they said they dont take same day reservations when we called ahead. They said they would put us on a waiting list for the time we requested. When we arrived they werent busy & we met our family there no problem at the requested time. I will definitely go back.

If youre looking for authentic Italian food you dont have to go to Italy to get it. The Olive Tree restaurant has a variety of Greek Italian food. The lasagna is my favorite. And the atmosphere in the historical Hiram makes for a neat small town atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and you feel like your at home when youre dining at The Olive Tree.

I have dined at all three of The Olive Tree restaurants. I have had great food at each and especially love the Maryland Crab Cakes. The wait staff is attentive to your dinning experience. It is very nice not to feel rushed. I enjoyed having a cocktail before being seated(by the way, great cocktails). I would and have revisited all three many times!!!!
