Worst Dining Experience for myself and my Clients. I am embarrassed that I brought some of my Valued Clients to Evergreen Chinese in Carrollton. First, the service was Poor to say the least which was not a good start to our Dining Experience. We made the decision for the Buffet and Found All the Items to be either Soggy, Dried Out and all Tasteless. I have been to many Chinese Restaurants and Sadly to say this was the Worst by Far. The most embarrassing part was that I brought some of my Clients here and we noticed that the Mature Chinese Woman at the Front Cashier station was picking her nose and then Proceeded to walk over and Put Her Hands on the Egg Rolls on the Buffet and attempt to Organize them I suppose. Myself and my Clients had enough after seeing that and immediately Walked Out after only a few moments of being in there. Sad part is I believe that was the Owner or One of the Owners, Not a way to Set an Example for the Employees. Overall the Worst Dining Experience I have had. I had to make a Formal Apology to all my Clients I brought there for what they Witnessed. We all left upset and disgusted with Evergreen Chinese Restaurants Actions and Lack of Quality or Care for their Customers Well Being.

Two of my closest friends and I had lunch at the Evergreen today. It is less than a mile from home where I have lived for twelve years, but neither of us guys had ever given it a try...the lady in our party used to eat there regularly up until a few years ago. She remembered it as a small sit-down restaurant with good food and good prices. She and my friend Bobby looked at the small steam table buffet and decided to go that route, but I ordered roast pork and fried rice with egg roll from the menu. We all found the food fairly good--certainly not great, the dining room cozy (like a diner), service acceptable but the bill was screwed up. I was asked to pay more at the register. If nice places with reasonable prices were hard to find, I might revisit the Evergreen. But Luckys Chinese Buffet a half mile down the street has nicer decor, better food, far greater choices at better prices. Sorry Evergreen, I wont be back soon.

Ive eaten at Evergreen since the mid 90s. Love the food! The Mongolian dishes (I usually get chicken) and the twice cooked pork (which I also usually sub for chicken) are both without compare. When I moved to Oklahoma for a couple of years I realized just what a jewel this place is. I worked statewide running appointments and never found anywhere that even came close. Then moved to Ohio with work. Once again, nothing to match. I love Chinese food and have traveled quite a bit. This is my favorite by far! Ive enjoyed eating here again while Ive been in town. Sure am gonna miss this place when I go back home!

I heard all great things about Evergreen so I decided to try it. Nothing special. Atmosphere was a little disappointing. No chop sticks, food was okay tasting but the lunch buffet was not anything special (only two hot tables). If you want good Chinese food, get China Wok in Villa Rica by the Publix. It is mostly take out but there is no better food. As to say Evergreen is the best in Carrolton, probably but there is not many to choose from.

Ive been eating here for many years, and the experiences Ive had are very inconsistant. Sometimes everything is great, and other times not so much. The service is inconsistant as well. Some of the waiters have been very moody, and others have been quite friendly. This being said, the food is pretty good if you catch it on a good day. Take all of this with a grain of salt when considering "dining" here. Oh, and the decor could use a LOT of work.

I have tried many different chinese restaurants and this one is always the one I look forward to eating at the most. This is a small place and I would give it a c+ on atmosphere. The food is always fresh and delicious. The best way to describe it is the difference between "fast food" chinese and "home cooked" chinese, this place definitely has the best garlic chicken and sesame chicken.

BEST Chinese Ive ever had! Me and my boyfriend have to eat here at least once a month! The owners and servers are awesome and the food always comes out super fast! If you dont eat here, youre missing out. P.s. Try the beef pepper steak and an egg roll! Theyre delicious!

Went here one time when visiting family in Carrollton. We had the Sunday lunch buffet and it was good but not the best Ive had. From what I could tell this is a local favorite. The restaurant was clean and service great. I would dine here again.

A rare spot where you get what you ask for and its actually good. Also, staff is very friendly. In this day and age I say thats 5 stars! However, I have only ordered take out so I have no opinion on dining in. Mongolian beef is excellent!

Have been going to this place for years. Drove over an hour once to eat lunch there with my parents. I have yet to find something on the menu that wasnt good, but my all time favorite dish is their Mongolian Beef.
