UPDATE: Today, three days after our event, I received a phone call from Ali. He was extremely rude and tried talking over me and when I wouldnt have that, he started cursing at me and hung up on me. My husband called him back. He proceeded to tell my husband that he hadnt confirmed anything and that it was all my fault. When my husband told him that we would handle this by letting future customers know about how terrible this experience has been through reviews, he threatened to take down our reviews or block them. This has been the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and experience with a company. Original review: Absolutely terrible. If I could have given less than one star, I would have. I had arranged with their food truck to be at PaintNik, our body painting competition last night. I confirmed with Ali TWO days before the event, he told me the food truck would be on site almost two hours before our start time of the event... And then ON THE NIGHT OF THE EVENT, nothing. No show. No call. No call back. I had 300 guests waiting on food. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

I love their food and was super excited to go there for lunch only to be disappointed by the wait staff. My first gripe is I dont want to walk through smoke to get in the door. The cook was sitting on the steps smoking when we went in. This was prime lunch time but they werent very busy. Watching as the people in front of us ordered, you could tell the employee was not happy about something. She huffed around and finally brought an order back out to interrupt the person taking orders to ask a question. Then they both went to the back. Finally one came out with the phone in her hand. I asked if it would be long before we could place an order and she answered with an attitude, "Look, I have to call this customer first." There was no reason to be mean to us. We didnt cause the issue. We walked out and went to Hannahs Kitchen, which treated us like they wanted us to come back. I will go back at some point because I like the food and the owner was super nice the first time I went, but I do hope the staff gets an attitude adjustment before then.

Third time diner. Three days in a row actually. First time I came here I got their taali bowl (the lunch special from 11-2) and it was amazing. Better than halal guys cause the meat was actually hot and there were some peppers, onions and mushrooms in as well. They dont have the hot sauce (not that Im aware of) like halal guys but the white sauce is similar. Second time I got the gyro wrap which is the special on Wednesday. Was pretty good. It over flowed so it was hard to get a consistent bite. They give a lot of fries. But theres no seasoning on it so, I guess you add your own? Third time I got the taali bowl again. I wonder if its because I got it to-go that it was below expectations. There were way too much mushroom this time and much less meat, which was a bit disappointing. At first I was wondering if their was any meat at all, but I found some. I hope it was just inconsistent this one time. Ill update again next time I get their taali bowl again. The 5.99 lunch special makes it a deal I cant really complain about.

Great atmosphere, very well decorated. Staff is very friendly. Great prices too, everything on the menu is priced appropriately. I tried the pita and hummus and it was fantastic. Ive had homemade hummus at other local restaurants that does not even compare. Fries are good too, not too greasy and well-seasoned. All around great experience, I would definitely come back. Highly recommend. Only thing I would add is that they dont have much for vegetarians. They can make items vegetarian but most are dishes based around meat, so its kinda pointless. I planned to get the grilled cheese but they were out of the cheeses they usually use :( And their soup of the day seems to either be chili or chicken noodle. But if you are a vegetarian, try the hummus and pita. It can definitely work as a meal.

Urbantaali, a nice modern place to have a meal. The staff was really freindly and welcoming to the point the owner was confident that everyone would love the food he offered if we didnt like somthing he would exchange it for free. Now for the food, I tried a variety of the things on the menu.that being said I noticed one thing, everything with the chicken in it was dry and really plain, but I can not say this enough the gyro taali which is all beef Is amazing!!! it will throw the Atlanta halal guy platter out of the water and surprisingly will throw the NYC gyro platter out of the water as well. I recommend using the hot sauce as well its mild with kick of slightly sour. Overall really satisfied with the gyro taali will definitely come agian!

I was excited that they were going to be at paintnik but believe it or not they didnt show up. They blamed it on Stephanie saying it was a miscommunication. Well the bad part is you cant exactly blame it on her because she is always very organized but then you want to make sure it doesnt look like your fault. Stephanie worked extremely hard on this event and to have everything organized and put together. Quit trying to cover your butt! You cant speak With someone several times and then it be a "miscommunication!"

Do yourself a favor and have their burger. That burger is life. Their philly is a solid option too. The lamb gyro bowl, forgot the name, is halal guys quality level which is tough to replicate. The restaurant is super clean and good for groups eating here. Not a large seating area but definitely capable of holding 25ish people. The employees are personable and respectful- I had a great chat with them. 10/10 am gonna be dining here often.

The service was quiet nice, very friendly staff. I commend them for that. A friend of mine recommended this place to me. That cheap ****ard lives on the motto "how do I get the most utilization of my dollar" (quantity over quality). The food is underwhelming and I dont see what is Urban about it. They atmosphere is great. Love the interior. Food is OK at best. Their Philly cheese steak was good, but not so good where I would return.

This place is delicious! I am addicted to their gyro with taali sauce. The meat is moist and flavorful. According to my coworkers the philly is also very tasty. I wasnt impressed with the burger but there are plenty of other places where you can get a burger. This is the only place nearby with gyros and taali sauce. Prices arent too bad - $8 for gyro or philly and fries and $6 for 6 wings and fries. Definitely worth trying!

Alright, so first time at this place. Not gonna lie I was skeptic at first (just dont like trying new things) but Im glad I did. Its got a nice welcoming enviroment and Im loving the wall of frames! Putting the decor aside, I ordered the Wednesday special and got a 285 wrap and fries. Didnt take long at all and for the price the portions are pretty good. I love their fries! A must try if youre around the area.
