Last night we tried this lovely family-run restaurant, which recently opened in Cleveland Park. The food was delicious, and the service personal was extremely pleasant. The atmosphere was so cozy that you thought you were sitting at home in the kitchen with good friends enjoying a wonderful meal. Obviously, the management still needs to work on fine tuning the entire production, but we are delighted to have this new gem in our neighborhood and we wish it the best of luck.

The hand made noodles in the lagman are no joke. It was one of the better noodle dishes Ive had in some time. The polo (a rice pilaf-type dish) was also good, and the lamb skewers that came with it were delicious and well seasoned. I recommend starting with a samsa or two. It is an almost pretzel-like pocket of onion, beef, and spices. This was my first experience with Uyghur cuisine and I did not come away disappointed.

This place is authentic and might be out of your typical comfort zone, but their service got much better and food is as good as you get at real Uyghur place somewhere in Central Asia. Try their lagman with handmade noodles and samsa, or some lamb kabob, its all good. If you up for longer waiting time worthwhile every penny you spend on authentic food and experience - highly recommended.

We got delivery via Caviar, so we cant speak to the ambiance or decor, but the food was really good! It was our first time trying Uyghur food and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend the Laghman, served Moms traditional style. And the polo was super good too! And we got the appetizer lamb kebobs, and the meat was perfect.

One of the best Uyghur food I ever had at this restaurant . I had couple dishes last week which was fantastic . （Laghman）The hand made noodle （ding ding）which is chopped fried noodles also is my favorite dish .The damplings are juicy the taste is out of world . Highly recommend this Uyghur restaurant to you..

Deliciously chewy and doughy handmade noodles. Both the royal laghman and moms laghman are perfectly spicy for folks who dont like spicy food. The kat kat cake is a sweet delicacy with apple cider-based cream you should try. The service was decent and the no frills decor is hole-in-the-wall familiar.

Nice setting and nice service, but both our orders were rather plain, "Americanized-Chinese" food not too different from (yummy but generic, Im no snob) takeout that would have been 1/3 the price. I was hoping to experience the flavors of inland Asia. Best thing I had was the spiced lamb kebabs.

This restaurants Da Panji (Big Dish Chicken) is so good and spicy, you will get addicted to it, LITERALLY. other dishes are also nice. The whole place is cozy and close to metro for more convenience, Best Uyghur Restaurant . I wish you the best luck. :) <3

Was seated fairly quick. The food was very good and came out fairly quickly. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because they didnt have honey cake and cocktails available. Which was one of the biggest reason I went here. I guess I came on the wrong day :(

YES! Everyone mentions the noodles for a reason. AMAZINGLY good, verging on addictive. There are no shortcuts for quality, and this place approaches every dish with tender loving care. The soup and noodles are to die for!!

Seems pretty authentic, often the lamb is overcooked at too high a temperature causing it to be dry. The house made noodles are great! Better lamb kabobs at Eat Dumpling House in Rockville. The ambiance is so very soothing

Great al dente noodles. Tasty, new flavors. Interesting, luscious dishes at all price levels. Good by-the-glass wine list. Very nice staffers. Great to choose upstairs or downstairs views. Ill be eating there a lot.

Hand-made noodles are of perfect el dente texture and firmness. The style is a mix between middle easter and Chinese, unique and delicious, conveniently located at the Cleveland Park metro station.

It is very unfortunate, that Uyghurs call them selves "Muslims" and yet they started serving alcoholic drinks. I guess they dont want the Muslims to eat from there, they only want "THE OTHERS".
