Hibachi-San in the Discover Mills Food Court is the only Japanese restaurant I regularly visit. Im not a huge fan of Japanese food (especially sushi,) but I love this place! A good way to describe this place is "Japanese Panda Express." I LOVE Panda Express, and Hibachi-San is the same general idea...same fresh ingredients, and same quick, friendly service. Their Lo Mein noodles are to die for, as are the Sweet and Pungent Chicken and the Grilled Teriyaki Chicken. The 2-meat platter is around $7, with a choice of rice or Lo Mein. Get the Lo Mein; you wont regret it. Did I mention they make the best, simplest, and most fresh-tasting Lo Mein around? The flavor notes are a little smoky, a little nutty, with good opposing soft Udon noodle/crunchy veggie textures. Serving sizes are monstrous, too. I usually get my order to go, as I cant eat it all in one sitting. If you were a fan of Panda Expresss lo mein (which they no longer serve) this is the place to get it! They also serve a variety of sushi and foreign beverages.

This place was doing good four years ago. I went back today during lunch. They totally cut the portions down, but the price is still the same. I ordered there well known, teriyaki chicken with sesame chicken. While eating, I noticed almost all of my sesame "chicken" was DOUGH!!! I knew I didnt taste any chicken. It was just glazed, fried dough. I am VERY, VERY disappointed. I feel cheated. This isnt right. If I was still at restaurant #0030, I would of asked for my money back! I trusted this place and took my food back with me to work. I did NOT enjoy the experience, the lady gave me half the portions that they use to do, charged me the same price PLUS, I ate fried dough that was labelled CHICKEN. Posting pictures!! My husband and I really enjoyed this place. But, its not the same anymore, NEVER going back.

I ate at Hibachi-San Japanese Grill and the food their sucks. Their rice has no flavor. Their chicken is way too sweet. The food little to no flavor. I would rather eat at Panda Express.

One word... DISGUSTING! I literally threw up. Ive never had such disgusting Japanese food and the gal serving the food was very rude and you could tell she hated her job.

This place is not real japanese place. It is just chinese food selling name with japanese. Good is ok but employees were serving fine service.
