Great little restaurant! Very pleasant atmosphere that works for a date night, family outing, or large group dinner. The staff is very courteous and the food is delicious! Not your typical Indian restaurant-- the highlights include their Nepalese dishes that you can sample most efficiently during the lunch buffet. Great price ($9.99, kids only $6.99) Both Nepalese soups (Kwati and Aalu Tama) are good with the Aalu Tama being the lighter of the two. The Indian Mulligatawny soup is a nice option as well. The Chicken 65 or Samosa Chat work well for an appetizer. For the main dishes I would recommend trying the Nepalese style noodles, Madras Chicken Curry, Chicken Kadhai or Chicken/Lamb Vidaloo. Veggie suggestions are the Bagara Baigan (eggplant) and the Vindi do Pyoza (Okra). Again, Im a buffet fan, so you get a really amazing variety of things to choose from during the buffet which is available every day.

If you want to eat indian food ( not sure about nepalis flavour though) then do your self a favour and stay away from this stinking place. Food is even remotely no where close to being Indian and me and wifey both were wondering how in the world can someone screw each and every dish presented in buffet. From condiments to starter and main course none of the item has any salt or any Indian spice for that matter. Last but not the least whole place stinks and with rest rooms next to tables you can literally see people in the toilet doing their things. Bad bad bad worse place to eat in Atlanta.

First, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice.We came around 9:30 pm on Thursday night so it was not so busy. I ordered steamed dumplings and they were delicious. And lamb samosas were amazing as well. Then came the cashew curry chicken, which went really well with the man and rice. Last but not least, mango lassie is not too sweet and tasted soon good. I believe the owner, who came out a couple times to ask how the food was. The service is on point and re fills for water came several time. If youre looking for some good food to eat, Id recommend this place!

This combined Nepalese and Indian restaurant served some of the best food Ive ever eaten. There werent many people there so we werent sure about it, but decided to get the buffet anyway. The variety in foods served, which included goat curry, butter chicken, and a perfectly-seasoned papadum, made the experience fun. Each bite contained a new flavor. With some buffets the tastes all meld together, but not here. The service exceeded our expectations. Although the ambiance might be somewhat lacking, the authentic food is the star and we will be back.

Best nepalese restaurant in town.... In this 9 years out of all the nepalese restaurant I have tried (NE, IL, MN, NY, NJ,WY,CO) nothing come close to Himalayan Spice. The food was great, we ordered a vegetable thali and it was more than sufficient for three people. The server were great and welcome us with special importance. The ambience of the restaurant made me feel like I am in Nepal. For american friends, I would highly recommend going here. In the hindsight we didnt tried their buffet menu. Price is resonable for a dinner menu.

Both the food and the atmosphere are very good, though they do have smaller portions of rice than I like (you can ask for more though so its no problem). Every time Ive been for dinner its been decently empty, so empty that the servers generally stand and watch you from around a corner. Thats great for fast service but its a practice that always makes me a bit uncomfortable. Overall, its a really nice restaurant and is definitely worth trying.

Nepali + Indian =5 star excellent cuisine! Our party had the best time at this restaurant. Everything was utterly delicious from the naan to my main entree! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants authentic West Indian cuisine and excellent service! I will be bringing all of my friends and family here because they can easily accommodate large parties and maintain excellent customer service!

Best restaurant I frequent in Atlanta. Anytime friends or family are in town I always take them there and they all love it! The butter chicken is crazy good. Also I dont usually like buffets (I prefer quality over quantity) but their lunch buffet is amazing! Food is just as good as if you ordered it one dish at a time. Lots of interesting things to try on the drink menu too.

I did not give this place 5 out of 5 because of our waitress. We visited 12/7/14 and we had a younger waitress and she acted like she didnt want to serve our table. The more mature waitress was pleasant however and refilled our water and checked on our table. The food was not bad and it was easy to redeem the Groupon I purchased.

Finally found a great Nepali resturant where i can get a typical Nepali taste outside Nepal. Have become regular since i first tried l. If you want to try nepali food, take it from this "Nepali Guy" it is as authentic as it gets. Definetly try it fir yourself.

No frills space and food, good service, always happy to serve even when we arrived just before closing time! Momos here are yum, especially the chicken curry ones. Have some unique Nepali options in the mix and those are a must-try.

I took thupka and tandoori chicken both were very bad. The chicken used in both the dishes was not fresh and smelly.Becareful there will be a big chances of food poisioning because of the ingrediant used is bit older

Excellent food and excellent service. I remember when this place was a dump of a "Chinese buffet" back when I was in high-school. Now its a grade A place with a warm and comfortable atmosphere and superb food.

The food here was absolutely amazing. They had a buffet, and typically buffet food isnt the best, but I was so impressed. Also the mango lasse and butter chicken were to die for! I will be returning!!!!!!

This place rocks! Food is excellent, service is excellent and now that they have delivery service through some of the commercial delivery sites out there, I will be eating a hell of a lot more Momos.

This is not your typical Indian restaurant! I go for the Nepali specialties, including momo (dumplings) and their spicy noodle soups. With good people and a good vibe, this restaurant is a great spot.

This restaurant sucks..it is not a good option for vegetarians at all, the food was so bland, the bread was so cold...nice ambiance and friendly service though. I hate to go here again.

What not to like about this place? The ambience is what I love, not to mention about the food. The food is great! Reminded me of my time in Nepal. Definitely recommended.
