Edit: returned again, bought a variety of sausages to bring home and grill. The bratwurst are great, and the hot dogs are one of the best around, according to my hot dog fanatic family. Talked shop with the staff about their products and how they are made, these ladies and gentleman know their stuff. Still docking a star just because no dining room and menu doesnt show everything they have that day, and no prices... But as i said they are very friendly and will go over everything with you, i just hope they arent repeating themselves all day! They ran a sale on Sunday for bratwurst on buns, and all sausages were on sale that day as well. Will be back often. ----- Doner and Reuben were great, many varieties of hot dog and house made sausages with interesting ingredients. No place to sit inside, and menu isnt totally clear but staff was friendly and happy to discuss whats good that day. Guy on a grill outside grilling whatever sausage you order, with a condiment table to dress to your liking -try the curry ketchup. Desserts are homemade. We have passed this place returning from Ellijay, and while at nearby beautiful Gibbs Gardens -make a day trip out of it. Will be back again soon.

Frankfurt Doner & Meats is a unique and all-around great restaurant/butcher shop. If you find yourself craving authentic bratwurst and Doner, you wont go wrong coming here! The store front is somewhat small, so seating is limited. The real star of the show is the wide selection of sausages and meats that you might find in a German butcher shop! The knockwurst and bratwurst, when cooked on a hot skillet, are exactly like what I remembered having in Germany! This is all around a great shop - I recommend you stop in if youre in the area and a fan of good German food!

Why did that one guy rate this a 4? I have ate food in some top restaurants in over a dozen countries, including Germany and this place is a very rare 5 out of 5. I have bought meat to grill out with my family and friends, everyone flipps. About once a month I get about 100 bucks worth it. The only thing better in Atlanta is dining in at Little Ally Steak in Roswell, best dry aged steaks around... meat by Linz. But Little Ally Steak, i spent 590 bucks on 5 people and myself and well worth it.

I love this market! Their authentic German food is fresh and delicious. They absolutely have the best Reuben around. Their veggie sandwich is good, too. It comes fully loaded. The sausages are great, too! Try the potato salad. My husband loved the southern, I love the German. If you have room after that, which I doubt, try some cookies or one of their many desserts. You wont be disappointed!

The landjager and brats are delicious. Lots of interesting choices here. Theyre always coming up with new flavors and variations to keep it interesting. Knowledgeable, friendly folks. Its a counter setup so enjoy your eats on the park benches that line the sidewalk as you relish the savory smells coming from the sidewalk grill which they use to entice passers-by. Its a trap! ;-)

Frankfurt has the best sandwich in Ball Ground! Maybe in the world. They grill sausages on Sundays too. Oh, and amazing potato salad. Its not a full service restaurant, more deli style. The people that run it are so nice and they do all the processing in house so its fresh, pretty rare these days. Highly recommended! But be careful, youll start craving their döner.

Just had the German style Donner... let me tell you as someone who has experienced German cuisine first hand, this is the best Donner I have ever had! Enormous pile a delicious beef, red cabbage and a spicy sauce all on pita-like bread. Also, the German style potato salad is killer. An absolute treat for anyone passing through Ball Park, GA.

Great food, fantastic service and perfect for an after church picnic - they grill outside on Sundays! The "4 x 4" is yuuuuum - a 4 cheese, 4 pepper sausage; its heaven on a bun. This is a meat lovers paradise, but for you veg heads, try the spinach feta . Lastly I have to say the "doner" is one you better be sitting down for!

Always awesome...Food and staff!!! We come in from Birmingham, AL approximately 3 times a year and we have to stock up every time we come. They have never produced a bad thing. Keep up the awesome job!! Old town atmosphere is a plus. Who needs a dining room? Walk around the little quaint town as you much.

My 2 cents, every morsel I have ate or took home was delicious, this is a special old style german butcher, they make what you want, breakfast sausage is the best, you will not find a better steak to take home and grill. Their sandwich will keep you coming back!!
