I wont give Burger Bus of Ball Ground a score of 1 star, only because I havent yet gotten to eat there. One thing I can say though is dont even try to make a takeout order via phone call during lunch hours. I work 5 minutes away, and tried to do just this, only to be told they do not do takeout orders over the phone on the weekend. (It was Friday by the way...) I have 30 minutes for lunch, and I was ordering a whopping 2 hamburgers and a hotdog.. for me and 2 other co-workers.. needless to say, I did not have a hamburger that day, and neither did my co-workers. We were merely disappointed, and settled for gas station food instead. I guess they dont care for business... never heard of a business that doesnt like money. Maybe some other time, when I get the burger itch, Ill ring em up again for a phone call takeout. Maybe.....

Love the burger bus food. As of late I have had a few frustrations. 1. Randomly closed when the bus is rented to private Parties and the only option is Cary out. 2. While trying to place a to go order I sat on hold for 14 minutes. While on hold I drove to the bus to find it slow. When I told them I had been on hold I get a giggle and a laugh over the kid who does not work there, yet hanging out in the kitchen, snuck the phone into the waitress pocket who then forgot about it. While sitting and waiting for my order I learn that orders have been forgotten and missed. Which is not deterring the kitchen staff from removing the kid who proudly exclaims "dude I dont work here".

This was our first time eating at the Burger Bus. It is definitely a unique experience. We sat at the high bar inside the bus and had a great view if the main road and seen several classic cars go by. The air conditioning vent in the floor at my seat was a very welcome treat! Our server was quick, nice, and never left us wondering where she went. My Wife ordered 1386 burger and she said it was one of the best burgers she has had. I ordered the Dads on Death Row burger and liked it very much. I thought the fried grits could have used some flavor but the rest of the ingredients tasted great. We will be back!

Holy Guacamole! Yes try the guac burger. Homemade guac, chipotle mayo and fresh sliced jalapeno on a handmade patty! Yes you will breath fire! But it is delicious! They offer several specialty burgers. Mostly a take out place because a bus has been converted to the dining room. So dont go there to get on your computer or drink beer all afternoon. This is not that place! But the food is good, the service is friendly and Ill be back when Im in the neighborhood!

Great restaurant! We had a one hour wait, but beers are $1 off while youre in line. Nice! Small beer selection, but had craft brews. Meals are delicious. Its a small place, but theres additional outside seating. My only complaint is the burgers/fries could have been bigger. When I go out to eat, Id rather pay more and get a ton of food than the opposite. Expect $10 minimum without drinks. Staff was super friendly. Just go there

Why do I do this to myself? Yes, the burgers are good, but this place is really inefficient. The only place to sit is the "bus", and that only seats about 15 people - not comfortably either. Getting your order, even more than an hour after the lunch rush, takes almost 20 minutes AFTER waiting to get a seat. No more. It just isnt worth it

I would have gave 5 stars but you cant place a Togo order by phone and run in and pick your order up, the refuse to take a Togo order by phone so you have to come inside, wait in line for 5 minutes, place your order and wait another 10 minutes for your order. They do have good burgers, I guess its worth the wait or I wouldnt be here waiting.

The food was amazing. I had a great time there.The bus was a little cramped but its a bus its gonna be cramped.The service was also nice along with the attitude of the employees. I would eat here again. Keep in mind all of the food here is made by scratch and is worth the wait. It is not fast food but authentic food that tastes great

First time to this place. I ordered the "Dads on Death Row" burger with tots. It was incredible! One of the best burgers I have ever had. Everything being made fresh probably had a lot to do with that. Service was fast and courteous. I cant think of a single thing that could be improved. I will definitely be coming back.

The artisan buns are the only reason Im not rating a five. In my book, the secret to a great burger is fresh ground meat. they have that down pat. the fancy buns dont hold together after about two bites. Petty complaint, I know considering everything else is fantastic.

Small local venue so if your party is more than 2 there could be a wait. Very good burger and very good service at a reasonable price. I feel like I got my moneys worth and the dining experience was neat inside the bus. If I lived closer I would be a regular.

Love the atmosphere!! The Veggie Burger is amazing. All homemade and I recommend topping it with the pimento cheese. And the hand cut fries with Siracha ketchup was a bonus!! Since I am the vegetarian of the family this place makes me smile!! Good eats!!

This is the most unique place I have ever eaten. Its in the small town of Ballground, GA and the bus is where you sit to eat. The hamburgers were great and the service was excellent! If you are anywhere in the area, I recommend stopping in.

Friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was AWESOME. Fresh, creative and super tasty!! I just wish they offered American cheese for their hamburger my husband is kinda snobby about it lol. If they did wed frequent more than we do!

The food is eh... Nothing special. The service sucks. Its takes way to long to get your food. I can see waiting 5 mins for to go order. But not 35 mins. The restaurant needs some serious managing skills. I will never ever go back.

Very unique dining experience with excellent staff. Love the hippie vibe and awesome layout. Surprisingly pretty spacious considering the quaint dining room is a remodeled bus. The burgers and fries are excellent!

Might be the most unorganized burger in place in Georgia, as far as wait time and staff efficiency. With that being said if you have an 1.5 hour to waste on a weekend day, the burger is good and prices are fair.

Not worth the trip, overpriced for greasy. Hard to believe you can mess up a hamburger and tater tots, but you did. Mentioned how bad the food was to our waitress, then found out how poor the service is.

Burger Bus is a very neat place to grab a burger! The atmosphere is awesome. The food is very good, prices cheap and the staff is super nice! Highly recommend u stop in Ball Ground just to eat there!
