I had never been to Golden Corral before and I have to admit that the commercials got me. I was excited to go there for the first time. I am sad to say that now that I have been, I will not be back. This is not a place for people who value quality over quantity. I did not like anything that I tried. Not one single item was good. All the food was bland! There was no flavor to the seafood items I tried and the chicken I tried was disgusting! The texture was rubber and flavor was so nasty I spit it into a napkin immediately. I thought I could at least make a nice salad at the bar, but even that was disappointing. There was a limited variety of toppings and the vegetables looked unappealing. Things were mixed together from people dropping things into other containers. It was gross. I wish I would have took my money elsewhere. I feel that I wasted my money. $15 is too expensive for tasteless cafeteria food. The only thing that was alright was the service. The server tried to accommodate the large party I was with to the point of overdoing it. My daughter got 3 glasses of soda almost back to back, while I never got a refill on my sweet tea. I gave her a pass though, she was working hard and probably not getting paid much on top of it. Overall this is not the place for me, I dont eat, just to eat or just to be full. I like food that tastes good and it not a bunch of cheap, over processed crap.

Im here now food cold i asked for a high chair and i am still waiting Im mad going home. Edit: My wife picked up fried chicken from the buffet and when she ate it the inside was bloody...I wish I could attach picture. We inform the manager and he informed his cooks and fixed the mistake....I really appreciate that!! Management gets 5 stars from me!! The waitress was dry. As a waitress you MUST be interactive with all customers and provide good customer service to all. She paid attention to other tables more than ours which took a few dollars off tip which usually I am a great tipper. My tip to her. Keep a clean area. Tend to ALL your customers and smile and be interactive. No matter what dont show you are ready to go home. Thats how you lose money. The people in the front were nice. The kitchen area had a bad scent too....but all in all management was great.

Came on a Sunday after church so it was to be expected to be busy. Wgat I was not anticipating was fellow rude, inconderate customers. Food was fantastic! Unfortunately, my waitress Steph was nice at first but then it turned... She refilled my childrens (2 kids) drinks and my husbands. However, she refused to refill mine. I am completely baffled. Being my first time there, I was relying on the waitress and she was aware it was my first time. In order for me to drink, my children and my husband gave me half of their drink. It was rude and I cant blame it on the place being busy because she refilled all the drinks while standing at my table while my husband was away and I was at the table with my children. 4 for the food but 1 for the service.

Hire Expectations
To be frank, we had avoided eating there for a few years due to reasons we wont discuss here and now however, a few of our friends took us there not too long ago and we were impressed. The food was better and with more choices, the service was better and the facility was much cleaner. Since then we have been there for breakfast and the early bird buffet. A major improvement. We enjoy going there again. Even the restrooms were clean. Please keep the fine work. If Golden Coral keeps paying attention to details theyll have us as your guests again as was the case back in the mid and late 90s.To get to a five star, please have someone in management introduce themselves and check on us guests from time to time. Good Job!

Do not eat here. I was racially profiled here today by a white guy who worked there who wasnt even the real Manager. I had a receipt to show i stood in the 30 min line and paid for my food but because i had on my biker vest and i was black he felt the need to ask me for my receipt and call the Police on me because i wouldnt show it to him. Even after the other customers had told him they seen me pay. We will be calling corporate and calling the local news on this establishment. I live just down the road. Ate here last on fathers day and this didnt happen.

The food is good at dinner time, sometimes the lunch service can have some cold or old food. The pizza is good here. Its a bit messy but thats too be expected from a busy buffet. I love the breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays but good luck getting an omelet, the line is always crazy long. Its a pretty good variety of things and the price isnt too bad. I like it but its just okay. If you are looking for somewhere super clean or upscale this may not be for you. If you are looking for pretty good food and lots of it then come here.

The reason being in the past the food was just average and the help has always been good! I know that according to the wait staff a new manager has been on the job! The food is beyond anything I would have ever imagined at Golden Corral! The place cleaned up...the staff on top of everything and the food was excellent..seasoned right and fresh! Turkey...tender & veggies & desserts lucious!Thanks for the BIg Big change! Its the best Golden Corral I have been to in ages and I have been to a few!!!!!

We keep giving this particular restaurant a chance. It stinks near the servers station. Smells like mildew or pee. The restroom was totally unacceptable. Vomit on the floor, two unflushed commodes, toilet tissue on the floor, soap dispenser gross. Was that mold? I will be sending management photos. Yet again!!! Fix it or fire somebody. This time the food bar was kept clean of food. This time, I said. Going back to McDonough. smh

February 7 2017 my son 9th birthday and he wanted golden corral which was fine with me the food was ok but what pissed me off as we were getting ready to leave a man/woman I cant remember but she/He was sitting down eating and had a big dog sitting on the floor I just got disgusted I never would of thought they would let a dog come in the restaurant. I thought that was so unprofessional for business that has food out!

Some friends and I went shopping in Conyers over the weekend.And we decided to eat GC as we call it well I called 3 times to ask the price of the buffet 3 times really each time the same lady out me on hold for 3 min 5 min and last time I ask her please dont put me on hold just tell me the price she hung up some we came all the back to Winder to GC never again will I stop in Conyers NEVER

The manager at this location needs to be fired!! For the past 2 1/2years Ive been trying to eat here,who wouldnt love all you can eat! Every time I paid I would grab me a plate and a fork an amoo almost vomit! It stink so bad in there like old wett rags and nasty mops &mop water! I really dont see how people allow their kids to eat there! All it is... is mangement, he lazy!
