UPDATE: DIRTY WITH ROACHES EVERYWHERE. Came here for dinner. Halfway thru dinner roaches began to spew from the window next to me and run all over the walls!!!! At least 20 running around. Got pics but they scurry quick so hard to get clear pics. Told server about roaches and she looked at the roaches and said okay and just walked off. Did nothing about it! THIS PLACE WITH ROACHES IS A HEALTH HAZARD!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE. I WILL NEVER RETURN SADLY. ORIGINAL REVIEW (too bad can never return due to overrun by roaches): Older building but comfortable inside for casual dining. To start filled out the made to order sushi card and ordered tea. The green tea was flavorful. The sushi and sashimi arrived first and was surprisingly fresh. Tuna and Salmon and Snapper were sashimi hits. Same for the Salmon and Octopus and Mackerel and Eel sushi. Then the made to order rolls arrived. The Volcano Roll and Wasabi Roll was terrific. The eel and avocado hand roll was okay. And a second round of sashimi for some reason actually tasted old and not as fresh. So. Then off to the buffet line. Calamari was terrific. Oysters were surprisingly fresh. Crawfish tasty. Muscles and clams excellent, although a few of the muscles on the chilled line looked old and dry. Crab legs lacked flavor for some reason. They also make Pho and have a Mongolian grill but did not get to try. Price of about 18 bucks for dinner is very reasonable given the overall experience. READ UPDATED REVIEW, AVOID THIS COCKROACH INFESTED PLACE! COCKROACH PICS POSTED!!!!! GOOGLE REVIEWS ARE A SCAM, MY ROACH PICS ARE NOT SHOWING UP TO PROVE HOW BAD THEY ARE HERE!!!!!

The food here is not very flavorful and it all has a weird bitter-sour undertone. Even the fresh made hibachi grill fare has the same bland, slightly rancid taste just strong enough to ruin the plate. The flounder I ordered was cooked well but again, was bland except for an odd off taste. My husbands steak was overcooked and chewy. The sushi was also bland and poorly prepared. Some of it disintegrated while being placed on the plate. The spicy sushi was as bland as the un-spicy and all of the rolls tasted the same regardless of the composition. The selections at lunch were very limited and the Sesame Chicken was a strangely colored soupy mess. The fried scallops were store bought, thawed, generic seafood, but were also one of the best things on the buffet as they did not have the strange stale seasoning on them and they were not overcooked, The same cannot be said for the Teriyaki Chicken which had no teriyaki flavor at all and was dry and overdone. Considering the price I expected better quality food. Go to Wasabi instead, Better food, better prices, better ambience.

The service that we got doesnt deserve even 1 star. Our waitress provided such a bad service. She brought us just half of our order and she told us that the rest is coming. So we spent another HOUR waiting on our sushi and still didnt get it. We were so upset just because we came with friends just to have a Sunday dinner. BTW we are not picky guests cause we all used to work in a restaurant but that was the worst service in my life. So when we asked for a manager our waitress said he left so there was nobody to talk to. After 15 minutes the manager showed up and said that he left the restaurant cause he wanted to hang out with his friends. We explained him the situation and he just said:"Ok Im sorry Ill make you a discount 2$ per person and if you dont like smth in this restaurant, please, never come back". Unfortunately,I would never recommend you this place, guys, cause I dont want you to have the same expirience weve had

My family eats at this restaurant all the time. It is truly unique with a huge sushi bar as well as a "cook to order" grill, array of soups and hot food bar. The food is fresh and the staff is happy and friendly. There is also a cold food bar with cold shrimp and desserts. On the dinner version of the buffet they have crab legs as well as all the normal items. You will pay a bit more for dinner than lunch but I assure you it is worth the money. To top it all off there are numerous vegetarian items available on all the bars ( sushi, hot food, and cold items). They also have a fully stocked bar for cocktails, beers of all manner and wines. You can even sit at the bar eating sushi and such while you watch the game on the flat screens. It is hard to think of a negative comment regarding this place. Perhaps only that you cannot try everything in one visit and must go back to enjoy it all.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. It is 18 dollars a pop JUST FOR THE BUFFET. I was very unimpressed with the food. It was about as good as any other rinky-dink Chinese buffet. The waitress came by about twice and we were never informed of the price of the meal until the bill came with a price tag of $40 for just me and my boyfriend. The atmosphere was all right, but in terms of food and service it was simply horrible with the price tag on top. I was very frustrated when we left, and my stomach has been torn to bits since we finished our meal, not entirely sure why. I will NOT be returning to such a mediocre restaurant. If you want a good Japanese dinner, try the Misaki Japanese Steakhouse next door, its just as expensive (if not cheaper when you get the earlybird) and is sooooo much better. I wish I had just stayed there instead of trying to find a cheaper place to eat! So much for that!

Expensive. Nearly 20 dollars on the weekends, for dinner. I was not impressed by the sushi. Most rolls come with some sweet, nondescript sauce drizzled on them when there is no sauce needed for the roll. Makes them taste uniform and not too good in my opinion. Food I got was a mixed bag. Some old and cold, some hot. What I ate was okay. Nothing great, but serviceable. However, for the price I would not recommend. The crab was the only bright side. Though, it was picked through and not stocked again for the duration of my dinner. It has promise, Im a traveler so I doubt Ill come back. So, take my advice and be cautious. Im sure there are better, cheaper options around. 3/5 - Expensive - Sushi was not up to par - Cold items, slowly replenished + Friendly staff + Lively patrons + Family friendly

We got here at least a few times a month. It is the best place Ive ever found for all you can eat sushi. I like that you can sit down and order what kind of sushi you want. My boyfriend loves the eel and smoked salmon nigri. Once in a while they will bring us rolls that we did not order but if you correct them hey will bring you the right ones. I love the tuna tar tar and the spicy fish roll. The sushi is not the highest quality but if your really hungry you can easily eat $100 worth of sushi for only $20. They also have $3 cocktails and wines and habachi grill made to order. Check the Metro Pulse for 10% off or the Mint for 1/2 off when you buy 2 meals. Its usually in there every other week. Its not to fancy but worth your money if your ready to eat a lot.
