The food here was downright bad. There were so many health code violations that we noticed after we came in. There was a foul, rotten smell coming from the kitchen. I got hibachi and the cook didnt wash his hands, wash his utensils, or the girll. He cross contaminated beef, chicken, shrimp, and eggs just while I watched. He wasnt wearing gloves and he repeatedly went behind a wall and out of view while the food was cooking. I got chicken and the meat was below sub par. I tasted it but couldnt bring myself to eat more than a few bites. The chicken I got from the buffet was equally bad. I watched a girl bring out new dishes of meat and decided to get those because I assumed they would be good. They were cold. I doubt anything here is freshly cooked since the new dish of chicken was still cold on the inside. The icecream was even bad. The buttered rolls left my hands with a sticky residue that I couldnt get off. The staff and waitresses were all very kind. We brought up the issues to the manager and he didnt even listen to what we had to say and just kept saying "I will give you 10% off." He didnt seem to care at all. He just kept interrupting us and then even turned around and talked to one of the waitresses while we were trying to speak to him. He even said "If you didnt like it why did you eat it" and again, we tried to point out that we didnt and the waitress took away our dishes so we couldnt show him. I also had two plates with food sitting in front of me when he said this. I basically paid 10 dollars for a few bites of food and some water. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I loved this place when it opened, but now they dont seem to care. Instead of making smaller batches of things and putting them out, they seem to just make huge batches and keep it out until it gets tough. I have routinely seen them put out fresh food only to top it with tough chicken that had been out, thinking no one would know the difference. I have news for you, Hibachi Grill: I do! I have also seen them pick up food that has fallen out of the food bins onto the counter and thrown it back in. You guys could have fresh food if you put it out it in smaller batches and put it out a lot more often, so it doesnt all get tough from the temps you guys are supposed to be keeping the food at. Please consider not putting shellfish close to other items. The last thing someone with a shrimp allergy wants is to end up with shrimp tumbled from the hibachi beside theirs into their food. One of the guys actually cleaned the grill and his utensils when I let him know (and I tipped him well). Recently, I went to get coconut chicken and ended up with coconut shrimp (yikes!)

Gross, nasty, disgusting! Some of the worst food i have EVER had from a buffet. Went there around 4pm paid $10.75 a person plus like a $12 tip, there were five people in my party and only one person actually liked the food and all they got was sushi. Everything on the buffet was hard and dry like it had been there all day..the rice was undercooked and was crunchy but then the crab ragoons were doughy like they had not even been cooked. The habachi is a joke..its the worst habachi i have ever had in my life..it was like shreaded chicken and had absolutely no flavor to it. I dont even want to know what the shrimp sauce actually is..i have never seen shrimp sauce that is almost a hot pink before and tasted like french dressing...aweful aweful aweful...will never be going back here again..i will stick to makinos.

Wont be back here for a while! Just observe your surroundings.. people putting food back from their plates into the buffet, unsupervised children making messes every where. The sushi is 1% meat 70% rice and 29% other ingredients (seriously unroll one and look at the tiny piece of fish) On my way out I couldnt help but look into the self-serve hand scoop ice cream that all the kids were playing in; every flavor among other foreign material in the ice creams, also the dippers were left sitting in muggy, not running water. Its actually a pretty gross place, the waiters and waitresses are just to meek to tell customers the rules

we are there all the time....you can take anyone there, they have sooooo many choices even for kids. I wish I lived next door do I could eat there every day. I can not get enough of their steamed sea bass They cant bring it out fast enough!! I can promise you that when you walk...you will waddle out! They have a huge buffet, sushi bar, a grill you can make up your own plate and they will throw it in the grill and stir fry with sauce of your choice. The people are so friendly. Id you have never eaten there. give it a try and take the WHOLE family..

I was here for a lunch and arrived around 11:45. I was very happy with my experience here. First the restrooms were clean and well stocked, the restaurant and buffet area were all clean looking and tidy, and the staff was generally friendly. They certainly are lacking good choices here with 8 stations I believe. All full and fresh looking. The salad and fixings were all cold and nothing looked old or wilted. I have zero complaints south the taste or quality if anything I ate. The bbq pork and chicken were highlights of my meal. Id go back again.

There are too few adjectives to describe how unpleasant this experience was.
My family and I have dined here before and were pleased. How sad to see it slide downhill so badly.
The mongolian grill was an overcooked, soupy disaster. The beef and broccoli from the buffet was cold and the tempura chicken was soggy. The fried noodles had a fishy flavor as did most of the tempura vegetables we tried.
When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told that there was not one on duty. That explains a great deal!

I have no idea why there are so many bad reviews for this buffet as my buddy & I have eaten there & the food was really good, friendly service, and its a lot better then China King in Lenoir City which is not as friendly, and you have to ask many times to get them to take your plates. This one is awesome, and there is a lot to choose from. We had a nice waitress, and she was good about keeping our glasses filled, and our plates taken. I would recommend Hibachi Grill to anyone who loves Asian food.

Really large Asian buffet with lots of choices. Not the best food ever but pretty dang good and the price is incredibly reasonable. Their selection includes sushi which, again, is definitely not high end sushi but will suit my wife to get her "fix" if were not in the mood for full-on sushi, the hibachi bar where theyll sear up whatever you choose, and all of the expected Chinese dishes you would expect, and peel and eat shrimp and calamari on the salad bar. Good deal and youll leave full.

Rude staff, not the cleanest place and the food is undercooked. Chicken was still pink. We ate there today and they had us shoved between two large families. We had no room to move at all (Im pregnant, that made it very uncomfortable.) When I got up from the table my shirt had a dirty line on it from touching the table. When I examined the table it had brown gooey stuff all up and down the side of it. It was disgusting. We wont be coming back here. The ice cream was melted also.
