I wish there was less than one star. I went with friends recently after a funeral right next door, and only got a cold drink and they tried to say I ate buffet there...not without a gun to my head. All my friends vouched for me and I paid for my soda. Once, I got slapped by the sushi chef with a spoon he yelled only one piece per customer. The sign said 6, but it should be how ever flipping many you want you cheap turds. One time before I quit the place ( I only went recently to be with my bereaved friends ) we got accosted outside by the owner or the manager who claimed we had slipped out and had not paid. Awfully convenient that he picked on the only one in our large party who had paid cash and could not prove we had paid. I told mr. man to call the sheriff and pull up security film and hed see that we paid. He huffed and walked back in, I guess that trick had worked before to get peeps to pay twice but not on us. The worst was I had a friend from out of town whos big and they told her after two plates she had enough and kept on taking her fresh plates and saying you eat no more you big you had enough. size discrimination. I believe the food sickness its filthy and ick.

3 might be a stretch - but Im going with 3, optimistic that itll reach it in time. Ironically, we frequent China Super Buffet several times monthly. I particularly enjoy the weekends as they offer more unconventional fare on the back wall - fare that I presume would be presented in China - with ingredients that are more foreign. I love those offerings (cold squid, cold glass noodles, whole fish, various tofu concoctions, etc) and overlook some other areas to enjoy them. Ill go straight to the let-downs. 1. The mens bathroom is consistently unclean and at times in disrepair. Unclean bathrooms (to me) offer insight of the general cleanliness tolerances elsewhere in the building. 2. The aging ceiling panels are stained and droopy. 3. The lighting is peculiar, with dark rooms interspersed with brightly lit areas. I always like the four soup options - and honestly, there is a greater diversity here than in other buffets. The vegetables are good and I always enjoy what I eat. Investing in updated decor and restaurant-level cleanliness would go a long way. Fund it, perhaps, by limiting the menu options (lowering food costs) - maybe.

Large selection, good food. I found it strange that we had to pay extra for hot tea. Im from South FL and its included in the price. We were there on a weekday around noon, not real busy. A young female server approached our table and started us off with drinks. During our meal as I watched, it looked like servers were working together, or rather, the young female was taking advantage of the young male server. He wound up clearing our plates a couple of times while she leaned against the server station reading her cell phone, hence why some restaurants dont allow employees to have phones inside. Not very professional looking. I felt bad for the guy. When we were ready we had to ask for our check a couple of times. Being in the food service industry these things bother me. I cant remember the exact price so I dont want to miss quote it, but very reasonable for the selection, which of course includes sushi, soup, salad, desert, and lots of meats and veggie choices.

So me and my friends come in to eat at 1:40 in the afternoon. Keep in mind thats its still lunch for some people. Lo mien (noodles) had some sort of small plastic in it. The cheese wontons was supper sour not from the cream cheese but like just sour tasting. The fried rice and white smells like a wet dog. I love Chinese food and have been to this location many of times Bc I live near it. The last few times Ive been the food has lost any good taste and just the care that goes into making the food is gone. The service is great tho and Ive ate here since Ive been little and just its not anywhere as good as it used to be. It used to be hands down the best Chinese food in tally And for just the size of the buffet. But times have changed and something needs to be done. Still a great place just need a change in food or cooks. Fusion buffet is on appalachee Parkway by harbor freight. They are new and super good.

I hardly ever write reviews but they have pushed my hand on this one. My father is 78 years old and he thinks any buffet is God&s gift to man kind. This is the third time Ive been dragged here by him and this time instead of eating Im sitting here writing this review. The place is dank, sticky floors everywhere, counters of the buffet bars have been wiped with dirty rags (smeared all accross the bars). There is plenty of food but its all tasteless and has been sitting for what looks like the whole day. The ice cream cooler, as soon as you lean in to scoop ice cream, your nostrils are filled with the smell of mildew. I really couldnt be more unhappy. There was a time when this place was great, I think they must have changed ownership within the last few years. Im sorry to be so frank but I will never come back here again.

Ill be honest, at first this place seemed awful. My first bite of the "special" chicken had a piece of bone or something else hard in it, and I had to spit it out. The generals chicken tasted like it had some kind of American hot sauce like Franks on it. The hot and sour soup was totally bland (major bummer for me, but to be fair, its hard to find really good hot and sour soup. So I went back to the buffet and luckily found (fresh) honey chicken, as well as the beef and broccoli and chicken and broccoli, which were all very good. Paired with green beans and lo mein, it was a solid Chinese buffet experience. Probably more of a "passing" 3.5-ish score, really, but Im going to give them the edge for having ice cream...and. oh yeah, sweet potato souffle! You never know with chinese buffets!

Watched the "buffet attendant" beat a lizard to death in the booth beside us with a rag he was using to clean the buffet area with. He picked up the dead lizard with a napkin and threw it in the trash by the buffet. Then proceeded to touch food without washing his hands and also sucked sauce off of his finger after touching the pan , all while still putting food on the buffet and using the same rag that just killed the lizard. I gave them two stars because they only charged me $2 for my highly upset 7 year old who refused to eat anything more then the jell-o he got before witnessing the lizard beating. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. LIZARD DEATH ASIDE, THE FEW THINGS WE GOT BEFORE LEAVING WERE TERRIBLE.

Sure they have a lot to choose from but so not worth my family of 5 getting sick for.....we were warned against this place by our hotel clerk but went any way....should have listened....We have never spent so much time in the rest room due to poorly handled or prepared food. 2 days of well to be blunt diarrhea... I know for a fact it was this place that made us sick due to the fact that this is the only place we all ate together...the rest of the time the kids and I would eat durring the day while my husband was working and eating out on his own...disgusting? yes. true? very much so. Should you chance it? up to you.....
