Our food has been wrong the last 2 times we went here but we like the atmosphere and its really close to home so we kept going and just ate whatever they brought us. Tonight our to go order was wrong and we asked them to correct it and were accused of ordering it wrong. I asked to speak with a manager which is something I never do and was told he was not there...at 6pm.....on a Friday. We left the restaurant with the wrong food and no refund at all and I called immediately and the manager picked up the phone. He was too coward to talk to me in person and rectify the situation and wouldnt do anything over the phone either. There are better Mexican restaurants with more integrity than this. Do yourself a favor and dont go here. Eventually youll have the worst experience ever.

A very good restaurant overall and usually a 5 star in my opinion. This has been my Mexican restaurant for years and still is. The staff, the food, and the waiting times are always great most of the time. The only reason for the one star today is because they dont learn well from the few mistakes they do have. Julio was my waiter today and by far the worst waiter I have ever had. I do not understand why he is still there. Like I said most of the the staff is great but they really need to learn to let those few unappreciative and rude workers go.

Well.. i called in an order at 7:19 and was told 10-15 mins on my order... well i wait the 15 mins and leave the house, i am maybe 5 minutes away, i get there and my food is not ready. I sit and wait for 20 more minutes. I did not get my food until 8. The sad thing is that i only ordered one half order of nachos.. thats it. This is definitely not the first time it has happened. But i will be finding another close mexican restaurant.

Whenever I am near Hoschton, I try to swing in to El Centinela. They actually have quite good food. Service is always friendly. I highly recommend their tortilla soup. They have another dish that is very very good. I havent been in a while, so I cant remember what it was called. We always called it "the cauldron." Its a little spicy, the "banana peppers" will definitely warm you up a little.

I have been coming to eat here for 4 years now, Waiters are always nice, friendly, attentive!! Your always likely to be greated by the owner and manager! Prices are reasonable and food is amazing I would recommend the fajitas for 2 its so much food worth every dollar! The bar is awesome for those night out with friends! Margaritas are the best I have tried!!! I would highly recommend!

We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here last weekend. They have a large room for big parties, so they easily accommodated 25ish people. Our waitress was very good considering how many people she was taking care of. The salsa is very good, and my grilled chicken quesadilla was great. I dont think I heard a single complaint from anyone in my party. Great place to eat!

First of all being Hispanic hard to find really good Mexican food. That has a selection for those that dont want to get too authentic. And more Southwest. Amazing place. Would recommend it and Ive been to a few. Friendly staff. The only downside is the entrance is a little weird to the actual place theres one way you can come in that is by taking a right turn off the road.

I travel in my business and love checking out Mexican food restaurants where ever I stop. This is just your run of the mill Mexican joint. Food was bland, service was OK, considering how busy they were. Its waaay overpriced. I dont mind spending a few more dollars for something unique and/or authentic, but this place is neither. Overall, it was just average.

The food was good. The taco shell fell apart. I am not sure why that happens but it does in some places. Beer ice cold. Salsa was ok, not great. The guacamole I think had mayo or something mixed in. The meat in the tacos was excellent. Service was excellent. I would have given 5 stars but they really need to fix the taco shells.

I love love love this place we are here for cinco de mayo and their food is even better if that is even possible they are given out free shirts candy and jello shots the customer service is still amazing even though they line is out the door thank you so much el centinela

Good food combos dont include rice & beans though the first Mexican place Ive been to that didnt you dont know that until the food is brought out & then you are told that they would be and extra $4.50 which I declined

I got a take out order from there based on the reviews I read. Everything I read was true. The food was awesome. Best salsa I have ever eaten from any restaurant. I will definitely will be eating there again.

This is definitely our favorite restaurant! Awesome margaritas and excellent Mexican. Servers are polite and never had a bad experience. Prices are good too!
