Myself, and 2 friends usually go here once a month to have dinner, drinks, relax etc... from the time you order your dinner, til the time its on your table is FAST... and it still was tonight....BUT... BEWARE OF HAPPY HOUR SPECIALS!! you might get charged FULL price, as we did!! As we are about to cash out, we realized our bills are messed up...... So all 3 of us ordered our 1st round, charged Happy Hour price... fine...... 2nd Round, just 1 of my friends and myself ordered a drink.. he was charged Happy Hour price, and i was charged FULL PRICE... only myself ordered a 3rd, which i knew would be full price. Anyways, i notified my server.. he proceeded to change my friends bill...his 2nd drink from Happy Hour price, to FULL PRICE! Even though we ordered our 2nd round before Happy Hour ended, we BOTH GOT SCREWED... So then, I proceeded to speak to the Manager... he DID NOT GIVE A DAMN AT ALL... AND, he insulted me saying "you drink too much"... So, after this experience, we WILL NEVER,EVER COME HERE AGAIN.... had you corrected our bill and not insulted me, wed be back no problem... but NOPE... hope you all stay away too!! Im sure many other Mexican restaurants would be happy to have us....

I love los amigos, so me and my girlfriend decided to check this one out. We went on taco Tuesday when they are a 1$, but fare warning the only ones that are a dollar are hard tacos; chicken or beef. The steak is another .50 and the soft tacos add on another .50. Now they are almost like the ones at Evies in Detroit, but if I compared Evies with any Mexican restaurant out of southwest Detroit, please beat me over the head with a tomailie. Now moving on to service, the waiter was on point I would say 80% of the time. We ordered the big guac (they make in house fresh for you, but they didnt warn us that it had jalapenos in it). Getting back to the waitress, we had to ask for our big guac, because for some reason she forgot (she was talking to some customer at the bar for 10mins), now like any other person, I like to receive my appetizer before my main course. In all fairness she was nice and made sure we had refills. Our food was hot and pretty darn good! I wanted to give 5 stars, but it was the appetizer that threw me off. We will try again, because we love Los Amigos and its the closest to Detroit Mexican Ive had.

My family and I have been here many times and it is always great. We have tried many different Mexican restaurants around in the area but were always disappointed. We are used to the taste of Mexican towns food so everything else paled in comparison. But Los Amigos Fiesta has been the best replacement that is close to home. We are always impressed by the prompt and attentive wait staff. The environment is welcoming. It is normally at a good sound level to be able to hear what everyone else at your table is saying. The only times we had problems with this was on Cinco de Mayo or when the band was coming around to tables. To be honest though we werent even talking during the latter we were just enjoying the Mariachi bands music.

We love this place! Food is great (and authentic), service is very fast, and drink specials are outstanding. They bring you complementary chips and salsa almost immediately after you sit down. Happy hour 7 days a week from 3-6pm (half off all draft beer and lime margaritas), and additional drink specials Mon-Thurs. $1 beef & chicken hardshell tacos all day on Tuesdays - who doesnt love a place with Taco Tuesdays and affordable drinks? They also have another location on State Street near Briarwood mall.

This place is good for stopping by for a bite. The food was about standard for local Mexican fare, or a bit above, and the service was excellent. It was a bit odd that the soft corn tacos that my wife ordered only came with one tortilla, which fell apart when she picked them up. She had to eat them with a fork. That was the only real negative of our experience. We would go back next time we are in the area, though, and just ask for two tortillas if we got the tacos again!

Worst experience ever. Had the server yell at us when were trting to explain she charged us for the wrong things. Then while talking to the manager about the bill that was NOT correct he literally would not make any eye contact asked if we were drunk got an attitude and ripped with force the bill out of my hand. He got physical. Never ever again.

Im not sure we got what we ordered, but it was close and super fast. Best Mexican food Ive had. Nothing this good in Grand Rapids. I do wish the bill was itemized though; I would like to have seen what we received was called, and how they priced it. Didnt really matter. Since food was so good, I paid the bill and thanked them.

Man, Sorry I came in at a slow period (3-4PM). Should have known better. My guest and I left very disappointed by food quality. (Totally microwaved) Service and drinks were good though. Bartender was very pleasant and capable. Atmosphere was nice/authentic. Ill give it another try. But just one. .

Revieved queso instead of guacamole like I ordered, the filling (mostly onions) inside my boyfriends burrito were completely burnt black and inedible. Refried beans tasted like the bottom of the pan they had been cooked in were scorched. Also chips taste like the fryer oil needs to be changed.

Excelente comida y bueno para ir en grupo o familia ya que también hay cupones en donde pagas por todo una cierta cantidad.

Giant margarita was weak. Tasted like it had no tequila in it. Tacos were uninspired. Flour tortillas with bland boiled and seasoned chicken. Salsa was just mediocre, but chips were warm and had a good flavor. All in all very poor representation of what Mexican food should be.

The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive, however I ordered corn tacos and the fell apart when I picked them up. There was only one layer of tortilla so o ate them with a fork. Who does that?

Tex-mex not very authentic but you should know that going in I suppose. Sort of bland but definitely filling. If you are looking for a lot of food with a very mild, brandish spice, this is your place.

Pretty good Mexican food. Looks like it may be a chain with the one that is off state street near mall, which I prefer. Decent food, portions, and served fast for a modest price.

No salad in my salad and took a while to get to table. Mariachi band was WAY too loud and not that good. Couldnt have a conversation. Bathrooms not in great shape.
