This has always been a hit or miss kind of place. I called almost 5 hours in advance and told them I was bringing 20 people. We show up and the dining room is empty. We start ordering drinks and dip right away so the waitress didnt get slammed when the rest of our group shows up. After a few excuses and 28 mins later our first coke shows up. We had to start walking to the bar to even get our own drinks. 1 hour in we figured out we had zero hope of our food order being taken. We asked for the manager and was told they didnt have one on duty. They also only had 3 servers in the whole restaurant. We cut our losses and canceled our taco Tuesday event. Walked next door to Sopranos and had a great time. I dont think Ill ever go back. I know for sure Ill never host another get together there.

Laguna Mexican Grill has decent food. It isnt great but it isnt bad, either. I believe my two biggest complaints, if I had to express them, is that (1) practically everyone who works here is under the age of 25, and (2) you will always leave with your clothes REEKING of fajitas. You seriously cant wear any clothing again until it is washed. On the plus side, their bartender, Marissa (?), is pretty amazing and always good for a chuckle. So, yeah, sit at the bar.

Being only 2 miles from my home it is unfortunate that this restaurant is terrible in many ways. First off the food is not authentic Mexican and tastes average at best. Second the service is not very good. We have to pass this restaurant and continue into Braselton to get good Mexican food and service ( El Centinela). They do not honor lunch items on weekends even though their own website says "Lunch served 7 days per week"! What a joke. Not even worth one star.

Our favorite Mexican Restaurant by far! They have the best fish Tacos anywhere. The laguna fajitas rock, and so do the Laguna tacos! They have two types of salsa, red and brown. As far as drinks, the Laguna "blue" margarita is a top shelf margarita made with Patron and the 12 oz is only $7.99. Their service could use a little tweaking, but the food is worth the wait.

The food is pretty good and you get it fast. They charged my debit card for more then they were supposed to. When I inquired about it they said "yeah, thats an ongoing thing with a certain terminal they use." As you can imagine I was wondering why they would keep using it knowing it was ripping people off. Check youre bank statement if you eat here Or, pay cash.

I agree with FishBait. The building is great and I was very exicited about it before it opened. Ive visited 5 times and always the same thing..... Poor service and altho the food isnt bad nothing is incredible. Ive even tried the bar on 3 occasions and was always ignored for 10-15 minutes, which should never be the case with a good bartender

This is not a good mexican resturant AT ALL. The salsa tastes like tomato juice, and there is no flavor at all in the food! Oh and the beans taste like something you buy at the store. The bad ones at that. Do not go here. Over priced. You will regret it if you go

Very good salsa, & food! The service is lacking. Seems all the people who should be waiting on customers like to congregate around the corner booth in the back. We had to ask for everything including napkins & drink refills. The food was good though.

8 months ago a roach visited our booth. Waitress was not shocked. Very nonchalant. Apparently it was not the first critter she has encountered there. We havent been back. We now go to La Hacienda.

The service is very slow. I ordered a full order of nachos and I was brought and charged for a full order. When I told the waitress about it she argued and said it was a full order.

Good place for Mexican food in the Jefferson/Braselton area. Try the shrimp cocktail. Its very different and very good. Shrimp soup is a meal in itself.
