My husband and I have been here 3 times and all 3 times we have had an awful experience. The last time was it for me. We were told we would have a 20 min wait before getting a table and decided that would be fine. After waiting over an hour, we were finally seated. The tables were so close to each other, me or the person behind me couldnt sit comfortably. Every time we moved, we would bump into each other. The table and menus were very sticky, I dont think they had ever been wiped down. It then took the waitress 10 minuets before she came over to take our drink order. We ran out of chips before our food order was taken. It was absolutely ridiculous. I realize Friday is a busy night in the restaurant business, but hire enough staff to take care of the people you are seating. We had a similar experience the first two times we went, but the last time was the worst. We will be going to El Jinete from now on if we want Mexican close to home. It is a much cleaner facility with friendly staff. Even when they are packed full, the service is very fast.

I love Del Rios. My wife & I eat there every chance we get. Being a vegan, its difficult to find restaurants that cater to your special needs, however the wait staff knows me & they know my order before I even sit down. Normally I find a lot of vegan dishes bland, however they customize my order to suit my taste. The manager always welcomes us personally & you can tell that he is truly happy to see us. They have great live music on the weekends playing classic rock & country hits as well. The wait staff is fast & friendly, especially Veronica. She fusses over us & makes certain that everything is right. If youre in the Dacula area & want some great Mexican food, I highly recommend Del Rio.

While the food is usually ok, orders are typically messed up to some extent...the service is HORRENDOUS. We have ordered numerous times for lunch and each time the service and the attitude is worse than the last. If a young person goes in to pick up then they are given a lecture on why something is more expensive and that they should just suck it up and pay them. What is this about an extra $1 open food fee? I dont understand why they have all these extra charges when no one else does. Always given a hard time for chips and salsa when several people have ordered they will still only give 1 bag and 1 cup. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER OR KEEP LOSING CUSTOMERS.

Been going here for 8 years and it has gone down hill. It use to be the best around but sadly has slipped dramatically in the past 6 months or so... Margaritas are weak and taste funny, Fajitas come out on a cast iron skillet that isnt even sizzling (which is one of the many reasons you order fajitas) chicken and steak is dry like it has been pre-made and sitting in the oven to keep warm, portions have gotten smaller and the nice vibe it once had is gone. Still can be great but Management needs to address the issues before its too late.

The bartender was a bit rude even when I showed her respect. Secondly I ordered a chicken quesadilla and she asked if I wanted just the quesadilla and I said yes thinking she was seeing if I wanted anything on the menu in addition. I was brought out a plain quesadilla with no sides (sour cream, lettuce, etc). When I asked for sour cream it showed up as an extra charge on my bill which was strange because that and other items were supposed to be included with the quesadilla.

Amazing service Id say best tex mex food and restaurant in dacula the manager is the best his name is Alberto he is super friendly . They have best service with great waiters and waitresses . They have the best food with the best price. My personal favorite is the fried shrimp tacos. You should also try the natural waters they are so good. If you are looking for a place to go this is it. Oh and the man from us auto spa is just a hater. Dont listen to that rude clown.

Had a so-so experience the first time we went.....not great, food was bland and service was mediocre. We decided to give it another try 2 weeks later and it was awful! placed smelled like bathroom cleaner and my chicken was raw! I told the waitress my chicken was not cooked properly and she just took the plate, did not ask if I wanted something else.....we left never to come back! Save your money and stomach and go to El Jinete in Dacula....

horrible service. The waitress kept our change and when we asked for it back to tip at our discretion, she snapped at one of the people in our party and then followed us out of the restraunt to tell us that "next time, we should go to taco bell." When my father called the manager after hearing this story, the manager said that we asked for it because we were "making fun of of the waitress" which was not first-hand information.

Great good. We went to lunch during a work break. The place was not over crowded, but our party of 5 with simple meals waited almost an hour for our food with noone checking on us to tell us the food would be late. We were late back to work. I wont be back again since I barely ate my meal while waiting with the chips and salsa. This could have been just a one time issue but I cant risk being late for work.

They food might have been good but I didnt get a chance to try it. My food was incorrect and the server wanted to argue what I had ordered instead of getting the order corrected. When the manager came to get me another menu the server came back with an attitude and stood at the table as if I was taking to long to change my order! This was my first and LAST time in this establishment!

Love their special fajitas (all the meats in one combo). Come here often and the staff is pretty friendly. I lowered a star due to the extreme wait times on busy nights and the loud live music (makes half the place too loud to enjoy your meal) on certain nights. But otherwise love it here. And all you can eat wings on Wednesdays has me coming back frequently.

This is the best place to eat in Dacula, period. I dont understand some of the other reviews that have been posted. Must be the competition because everyone who lives in this part of town knows that this is the spot. Great food, great environment, and excellent service. Many nights during the week and on the weekends they have live music. Great bands too....

One of our favorite mexican restaurants in Dacula. Just like all these places, the service is good most of the time but sometimes its just bad. The sister restaurant is Fernandos in Dacula and is very similar. Very good place to watch a game and have a beer. Lots of big screens and a huge bar. You can get a "jug" of beer for $5! Best fajita nachos around.

We just left Del Rio and once again had a wonderful time, with great service. The management is so welcoming and come around to visit all of the tables to make sure everyone is happy. Fajitas, chicken soup, and the bowls are our favorites, but everything we have eaten there has been excellent. If you havent been there yet, you should go.
