I found this place on Urbanspoon. I was excited to try it after reading reviews. I love to try different BBQ places from different areas. I love the area that it is located. Very cool, hip area of Atlanta and easy to get to. Right away, after walking in the door, we were greeted by a very energetic and courteous staff member. He told us about the menu and how to order. I loved the atmosphere in the restaurant. And every single staff member was SUPER nice! Talk about southern hospitality! I ordered the 1/2 lb pulled pork and the Burnt Ends Chili. I also sampled the sweet potato casserole. Everything I had was great! I really loved the pulled pork. It was meat done right! They have a variety of sauces for you to choose from, the typical Memphis style, KC style, Carolina style, Texas style, which is nice because there will always be something for everyone. Just an FYI for people visiting with kids, they do serve their pinto beans with onions in them. They were very tasty, but if your kid is like mine, she/he will not like that. I overheard someone complaining to the staff about pricing. The meats and sides are priced separately. I paid over $20 for me and my child to eat, but honestly this is pretty typical pricing at a BBQ restaurant. I did not think it was too expensive. I recommend this restaurant!!

Food was ok, service was horrible!! We were seated and told someone would be with us in a moment. After 10 minutes and watching new people be seated and their orders taken I walked up to the hostess to let her know our waiter hadnt stopped by our table yet. She said our waiter would be with us in a moment. I sat back down, 5 minutes later a waitress came by to tell us our waiter would with us in a moment. I let her know I wasnt very happy. She sent the manager over who apologized and said he would send over some pork rhines and probably (yes he said probably) give us dessert. Well our waiter finally came to take our order but never apologized for our wait. The food we ordered arrived. The pork rhines the manager promised never showed up. The next time we saw our waiter we were a couple bits from being finished. He asked if the food was good, then he brought our check. I guess the manager wasnt concerned with customer satisfaction since he never stopped back by to make sure we received what he promised or to see if our service had improved. The food was ok, but it didnt make up for the service and for that I would not recommend Twin Smokers BBQ.

Ill start with the good, delicious, delicious pork ribs, just superb. Tender and with a great flavor. Then I was also a huge fan of the collard greens. Again, nice and tender with good flavor. Service was also superb, very friendly, prompt, and great recommendations. The mac and cheese was very good, not amazing, but definitely better than average. You could tell they actually use real cheese. The brisket was fine. Good flavor but nothing too special. I will say, with the Texas sauce it actually was pretty good, but a good brisket shouldnt need sauce. I liked the selection of sauces, but I think there were too many as they werent all great quality. Pick a couple and just do them really well! It also sort of made it confusing as to what type of barbecue they were actually trying to serve. Finally, I think this is the most Ive ever spent on not all that much BBQ. I just dont think BBQ should be that expensive, though Im not complaining too much because the quality was pretty good.

Oh man, this is some outstanding BBQ! Dont wait too late in the evening to go, because everything is smoked on site, and when theyre out of something for the day, theyre out! I had the Blue Sky combo with pulled pork, nice simple smoked pork butt; Texas hot link sausage, spicy but not too spicy; pinto beans; & corn souffle. The corn souffle is a seasonal side, so it might not be available when you go, but if it is, get it! Trust me! Theres a broad selection of sauce styles, all of which are tasty, just take things over the top! If its what floats your boat, the "Double Trouble" milkshake with Bulleit Bourbon, is boozy, creamy decadence. The service was rock solid with Vassar taking care of our table. If the five stars werent enough to convey it, I *highly* recommend Twin Smokers BBQ!

Their business model is to stack more wood than actual ingredients. We went there twice, a Saturday night at 8pm and they were almost completely sold out and a Monday night at 8pm and they said they ran out of all ribs and some of the beers. Funny enough they suddenly turned up even 30 mins later with ribs being served at other tables. When I asked them about it they said their managers tell them when to stop selling stuff, even though they might not actually be sold out. Then later on they continue selling it. Its like playing Russian roulette. After I complained suddenly they turned up with a beer especially for me which they told me earlier they had run out off. Not sure what is going on in this place but I wont return ever again!

Walked in and instantly fell in love. The place is filled with that wonderful wood fired smoke that you crave when you go to a BBQ place. Staff was great. Good beer selection. Great whiskey and bourbon selection and great prices. The smokers are very cool. You can see them from the bar while your eating. When i was there they threw half a hog in the smoker and was getting it ready for dinner, the next day!! This place is legit. I had the brisket, ribs, greens and cornbread. Brisket was juicy and tender and had a nice crust on it. The ribs arent too tender but are still fall off the bone. I had half a rack and didnt need any sauce. Incredible. The cornbread isnt sweet, which i like so that wasnt for me.

my experience at twin smokers was OK. The food was delicious and the environment was fun! me and my boyfriend came past lunch time and it wasnt busy so we figured we would be well taken care of, but our server took about 15 minutes just to get our drinks. we ordered our food and it came out at a decent time, but one of our sides were missing and our server was no where to be found. after we had finished our meal our server finally checked on us for the first time. still without one side and empty drinks now. they were polite enough to take off the side that came out late but everything that our server did took longer than it needed to. we werent in a rush so it wasnt a big deal but just annoying.

I consider myself a tough critic, but This place is delicious, and I will try to go back every time Im in Atlanta. Obviously the meat is perfected, but their sides were unbelievable. We came in just before they closed on a Saturday night and my crew decided we needed to order to go because our kids were falling apart. Since they were closing they must have had some extra and slipped them into our order. So we got to try their pinto beans, mac and cheese, slaw and corn pudding all of which we all wanted more. This place seems to perfect everything on the menu. Thank you Tiny Smokers for your dedication to doing things really well. My crew was so glad that we happened upon your BBQ joint.
