More like 3.5 stars. It was good but now know I dont care much for shredded pork. There was an up charge for sliced. Flavor was okay but was pretty much cold. There was a bit of sauce but basically you add your own. Texas toast was good. Platter came with coleslaw-nothing special and a bowl of stew which was pretty good. No substitutions. Also dill pickle and peppers on the side. For a side order fries...a bit skimpy for $2.50 but were good and hot. Quick efficient service

Ive taken these wings all over the USA, frozen, to give as a hostess gift. They are always gobbled right up. I once took them to Florida, and put them in the back of another friends car (they were still smokin when I picked them up). I saw they had pulled over to a rest stop, and I caught them eating the wings! They said they couldnt stand the aroma any longer -- it was making them so hungry! We arrived about 20 wings shy of the order. :-)

Well, the best I can say is the place was very clean in the dining area; the waitress was incredibly nice and attentive; the only thing I would return for is the Brunswick stew; the meat(pork)was cooked too long and was too dry to enjoy; the BBQ sauce was way too sweet for my liking but some do like the sweet BBQ flavor; the cole slaw left much to be desired and the fries tasted old. Disappointing!

This places real calling is their smoked BBQ wings. I dont really like wings but I could eat these by the bushel. And Ive been doing so for the last 15+ years this place has been open. They are amazing. Their regular BBQ is quite good too (lean but not dry) and they have weekly specials. Cash or local check only though...

Ive been eating here since I was a small child & it really is a great little barbeque joint. You cant beat the 99 cent Piglet sandwiches and their brunswick stew has just the right kick. They only take cash or check and the parking lot is limited, but thats no reason not to visit & get your bbq on!

The overall experience was ok. Barbecue was too dry, but wings were good. Bathrooms are small & not handicap accessible. Cash or checks only. No cards accepted. Your clothes will smell like smoked pig even after you leave the restaurant.

Stew, Slaw, Bar-B-Que, Ribs, Steak Fries and all is AMAZING. Mac & Cheese would make you want to slap your Momma!!!!!! The staff is ALWAYS friendly and they believe in teamwork which always makes your visit an awesome one.

Love it here. Service is GREAT! They need a little more of a dessert selection, but their BBq is wonderful. Well be back again and again. Highly recommended if you like BBq. Bring CASH!
