Ordered take out, the food was awesome. Very pleasantly surprised with this place. It would have never crossed my radar, but I stumbled across it looking in Google maps for highly rated places near home. Honestly it was so good that this is only my second restaurant review ever, and the other one was because it wasnt good. Everything was great. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars, and this being picky, but a 5 star experience must be flawless. Anyway when I first went in to pick up my order, the two workers at the register were discussing an order, and it was several minutes (close to 5) before anyone even acknowledged my existence. Then when they gave me my sweet tea, there was no ice out.. they should have given me a cup with ice. And I thought that for $1.70, the tea size was small. Anyway other than the small things, everything was great. I ordered online. No fuss. Order was ready when they said it would be, it was correct, etc. I will definitely be going back to this place.

This is for the Roswell location. After all of the great reviews on here we decided to check it out. Unfortunately we did not have the same experience as those previous reviewers. We got there at 7pm for takeout which was probably our first mistake. Not only were they out of brisket but they were out of ribs. We went with the pulled pork which was decent but nothing out of the ordinary. Ive had a lot better. The next thing everyone raved about was the mac and cheese. That was a severe letdown considering the buildup. It didnt even taste like there was real butter in it at all. The baked beans on the website looked very good and some of the reviewers mentioned it had some pork in it. The beans we were given looked and tasted very much like from a can. The pecan pie was a disappointment as well. I have never seen a pecan pie have the consistency that this one had. It was more like a pumpkin pie with pecans on top.

Ive known these guys from the first day they opened and their food quality is very good BUT do not expect ANY SERVICE what-so-ever. Cecilia who answers the phone and serves the tables, may be as rude as Ive ever met in a restaurant. I personally have experienced 2 ONE star customer service issues with her. I have friends in the area who said they would NEVER go back due to their experience with her, although they do like the food quality. Greg and his partner deserve better. I will check back occasionally and if Cecilia is no longer employed I will go support these guys otherwise, find other BBQ opportunities in the area. I will support them at other locations but I live around the corner and this location is very convenient.

So 2 strikes for the customer service. I really dont like giving negative feedback but we came in tonight to eat as a family of 5. We entered at 7:20 and they said "we are just taking to go orders." I asked why and the response was "we close at 7:30." Well I guess that means you close at 7:20. We also got turned away 2 weeks ago after a storm because they said they couldnt take credit cards...no attempt to see if we had cash or to apologize. Its unfortunate because the food is good. I hope the owner is able to read this and give some coaching to the team (7/26/16)

The Web site shows a delivery option. What a killer idea for BBQ! We were all ready to order pounds of meat and large sides, fit for a crowd and with left-overs. I called the Shallowford Rd location and was told they dont deliver. Then why is this an option on your Web site. We wasted lots of time getting the order together plus our taste buds were set for BBQ, delivered to our door. Instead we had to settle for pizza. I HATE restaurants that do not live up to the expectations that they set.

This review is aimed at their catering-Milton location. While the pulled pork, chicken, mac and cheese are likely to get your approval the green beans and banana pudding may not! The green beans have a questionable track record. They can taste very good one day and not so great the next. The banana pudding is most likely made with instant pudding and few to no bananas! Bottom line: If you are looking for a full catering experience it will not be delivered from Grand Champion.

If youre not much for sauces, this is the place. Overall its high quality bbq, especially in terms of the meats used. Id like a bit more flavor infused into the ribs, but this is still my spot on this part of town. The mac and cheese is quite frankly my favorite in the metro, and Ive recently discovered that their half bird is amazing. Amidst the competition in the bbq sector in Atlanta, this place is definitely in the top 5.

Been eating here since they opened prices have gotten higher Im okay with that but portions have gotten less and theyre no longer slicing the brisket.seems like Im just getting chopped brisket scraps on bread now and this has been the same for the past three lunches here. Taking my business back to Sams bbq where quality is always number one. Sorry to see they couldnt keep quality and retain their customers.

Unbelievable ribs. Didnt even need to bite them, didnt need sauce (the Carolina vinegar sauce was terrible) -- just picked them off the bone with my fingers. Get the mac and cheese and baked beans, which have burnt pork ends in them. Oh, and a half rack is $15, while a full rack is $21, and you get double the meat. So, no brainer... get a full rack and take the rest home for dinner the next day.

Fabulous BBQ! Had the baby backs and they were cooked great...tender and tasty! Mac N Cheese is equally as good and baked beans had the right amount of molasses! Wasnt a big fan of the green beans, but my wife liked them. The service was amazing and it was super clean! Very glad to have found this...much closer to the house than the closest competitor BBQ 1.

Probably not the best bbq in the south but pretty good and certainly the best in the area. Facility is okay and it can get very busy especially over noon hour but I have enjoyed my food and my time here. The people say thank you seem genuinely concerned about their product. I recommend this place if your are nearby.

We are here now for the first time. We were looking for a place to eat after a Pope High School basketball game. We ordered the smoked chicken sandwich with baked beans and beef short rib plate. Great Choices! We will definitely be returning for both items. The ribs were spectacular no sauce needed!

Try the ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, mac n cheese and the holier than thou baked beans! Next time, I must try the "Redneck Lasagna!" Initially, I came here only because the person we were eating lunch with didnt have time to drive all the way to Atlanta for Community BBQ. I will be back, SOON!

Were from NC and know our BBQ. This place is a little slice of home. So delicious! Customer service was great. Weve got three little ones so we asked for dessert to come out after our food. Accommodating for families and tasty food fast! Will definitely be back!
