I saw that Portofino was on a list of top patios in Atlanta and on a nice Friday night a group of girls and I were looking for somewhere fun in Buckhead to go and I thought we should try it. I made a reservation but was told the patio was first come, first serve. I arrived early to get a spot outside and it wasnt a problem (but it was also Memorial Day weekend - so plenty of Atlantans were out of town). The patio was amazing. I could just sit there and drink wine all evening, but we ordered and the food only added to the experience. I had the halibut with citrus risotto and it was delicious. Perfect portion size. Other girls got various pastas and we were all happy with our choices. I will definitely be going back, especially on another nice night to sit on the patio.

In genere, un ristorante nella città di Atlanta e niente di più. Il personale non parla italiano. Sicuramente molto carino come locale anche se pur non essendo pieno non sembravano riuscire a star dietro alle richieste dei clienti. Manca la conoscenza della raccomandazione di un buon vino. Sicuramente io dico che non è autenticamente italiano. Nel complesso dubito ci tornerei.

Waiter was terrible, didnt know the wines, the food was not consistent. The steak was under cooked. This is the second time weve been here and were blown away the first time. Not sure what has happened in just 2 months! The waiter literally threw the check at us when we asked for our bill. Mind you, we did not complain about anything while we were there but he seriously needed to be trained! We wanted to bring friends here, but now not so sure if the service and quality of food and wine are sub par. Very Disappointed, this was our Valentines day dinner! Considering the average bill here is about $100, I think they seriously need to consider revamping!

This was our first time here and it was fantastic! For starters , Shanna, our server, was amazing. She was very attentive and helpful when choosing our plates. Wine selection is great. We ordered the warm goat cheese for the appetizer and it was delicious. The lamb bolognese and the lobster spaghetti were our entree choices and they did not disappoint. If you are a chocolate lover, I recommend the dark chocolate and hazelnut torte. It is so rich ! My man and I loved everything about it and highly recommend it to anyone in the Buckhead Atlanta area. ☺

Ive been there twice recently and they are 2 for 2 on service, atmosphere and food. Its one of my new favorites with a rustic, neighborhood feeling. Wait staff was excellent, friendly and attentive and had thoughtful recommendations for food and wine parings. Loved the roasted Red Pepper Radiatore. I cant wait to go back when it cools down a bit and enjoy the charming patio.

Went on Monday evening to celebrate my birthday with my husband and baby. I had an amazing experience. The waitress Kelly was super fun and knowledgeable with the menu. We were greeted by the manager Chris who took good care of us. He even helped pre arrange some things with my husband to prepare for my birthday. No doubt, one of my favorite places to eat in Atlanta!

We went there recently to celebrate our anniversary, after reading all the positive reviews. Im not so sure if well visit this restaurant again. We enjoyed the eggplant appetizer, but not the dumplings with bacon. The service was horrible! And for that very reason we will explore other places. Lucianos is my favorite so far, in Alpharetta/Johns Creek.

I loved it, totally going back. I really recommend the Cacio e Pepe! Amazing, so simple and so rich in the same time! The wine that my husband and I chose, was a Chardonnay, Wicker, Napa. Amazing! Still trying to find it in a store.

So charming. Came here for a celebratory dinner and will 100% be back for more! Pleassseee get the mussels as an app they are to die for! Bread is delicious and the pasta dishes that I had were very very good.
