If there were minus stars I would rank it -10! We visited The Olive Garden across from the Dayton Mall about a year ago and decided we would never go back. On that occasion we were completely ignored while others around us were served and the manager stood as close a 10 feet from our table gabbing with an employee about their mornings before work. We thought wed give it another try today. The waiter walked up to our table with a scowl and said tersely, Im Greg and Im your waiter. I asked about a particular appetizer that Id never had and his answer, as all of his answer were, consisted of one to three words. This time the one word was , "spicy"! the next answer was, "its a sauce". He brought me the wrong food and I sat and watched him as he waited on other tables. His interaction with white people was the same as it was for us. Then a family of three who wasnt white came in and sat across from us. He greeted them with a cheery, "HI! How are you doing today? He took at least five to ten minutes taking their order. Walked by their table and joked and laughed with them. I related this to the manager on my out of the building. Her reply was, "Ive never heard that about Greg before." I told her if we go to Olive Garden ever again it will be the one in Beavercreek but most certainly not there! if you are not a white person you will probably enjoy your visit to this Olive Garden!

Came here with a party of 9 last night. Wait wasnt terrible. Service was fairly good until we ordered our food. We waited over 30 min for our food to come to the table and when it did the pasta was hard from sitting under the heat lamps for too long. Also, my 3 yr old was the first to get her food. This normally isnt a problem but she was the only one to receive her food. We had 3 other children at the table. After 10 more min of waiting, the other members of my party received their food, except for the 4 year old in our party. She was crushed. She eventually received her food but it was also unedible from the heat lamps. The manager helped out and gave us a hefty discount, which is why I didnt rate lower. I dont think well be back anytime soon.

Weve lived here for twenty-two years and had never eaten at The Olive Garden. So we decided to give it a try. Bad decision. Indifferent service and a long wait brought us two entrees hardly worth the effort. My pasta/seafood tasted fair but within an hour I had symptoms of food poisoning that led to gastritis. Not a fun way to spend the weekend. My husbands pasta and shortribs was even worse with beef that had clearly not been braised but hastily overcooked and a sauce thrown over it. The lemon cake was nice. Would I go back? Not if they paid me.

As much as I love Olive Garden I am very disappointed and unsatisfied with their service at this location. I placed an order online and paid for it as well. I go to pick it up and they do not have my order ready or have any knowledge of it. Not only do I wait an extra hour almost for them to make a simple order, but they want to try and double charge me for it. Worst management and customer service possible. There were other customers upset with the service as well, but the employees just blew them off. Will never eat at this location again.

Workers need to know the rules. I come in all the time & get unlimited soup& salad togo the usual bartender "my favorite" gives you one 2 eat while u wait and 2 to go. I come in on a regular Wenesday new bartender & all of a sudden things are different. I dont like just having to deal with it. If ive gotten it b4 it should be honored. I wont hesitate to refuse this location next time i eat out.

We really like Olive Garden, the food tastes great and the service was good too. When we went, they offered wine samples for a quarter and the waiter helped us out by offering suggestions/help. Breadsticks and salad tasted great, the meals were actually a good portion sized (sometimes it doesnt). They have added ziosks to each table, so you can pay when finished pretty quickly.

The food at Olive Garden is good for the value. The service is lousy. Ive waited over 30 minutes before to get a refill and that was on a slow day. It took so long because the servers decided to waste their time chatting with other employees over doing their job. When your on the clock, your paid to do you job not to stand around and chat with friends and other employees.

Had waited 10 minutes for a server, table next to me said they had waited several minutes for there food. Ordered the Chicken Gnonkie soup it did not have a single dumpling in it. But they did bring me a new one. They are remodeling the restaurant, kinda a mess. Ugly citrus green walls, ugh. First time I ever had a bad experience here. Didnt even get my mints :(

We had terrible service and it was not busy we had to wait to get our salad and our drinks we finally had to get a manager involved then when our dinner came they forgot one of the meals so they had to fix it and she had to wait. The manager did give us a discount plus took off the meal that came late thats the only reason I gave him at 2 instead of a one

Even as they were out of parking spots and clearly busy, we were sat immediately, waited on promptly, courteously, and served quickly. Yet somehow it still felt like we were the only customers there. Jessica did a great job of being very attenative without being over bearing, which in itself is a tough feat

Awesome! Bartender mad my drink correctly not to much alcohol not to little either. Food was great. Service was great. Some of the review on here are terrible reviews dont listen to them. You come here for decently priced food and lots of it. If you expect fine dining you will spend 50-100$ a plate.

Food was good, for the most part. I was disappointed to find that the pizza has been removed from the menu. Our waitress was not very polite and kind. All of our requests included please, etc and every response was a hesitant "okay." Better service found at a Chick-fil-A.

A to go order comes with 2 whole breadsticks. And dont think of trying to get more unless youre gonna pay for it. But eat in and get all you want. Idk thats stingy I think. Made me kind of pissy. Thats one of the main reasons I like OG is the bread, but whatever.

Loved the endless salad and breadsticks, Some decent options for the Veggie eater in the family, and I stuck to the cheese ravioli. Standard franchise type of restaurant staff. Overall good experience. Wait times can be long at times. Make a Reservation!
