We went to Genki, for wine wednesday. We arrived early, and tried to beat the crowd because we wanted to sit outside. We walked in, and were greeted by a hostess that said for a party of 6, it would probably be a 15 minute wait for outside. We were fine wit that, and proceeded to sit at the bar and have some drinks. 50 MINUTES LATER, and after 5 parties had been seated before us, I asked the hostess what the deal was.... she said that the people before us "bit****" (word for word) so they got bumped ahead of us. I was apalled that she said this, and admitted it to me... I asked for a manager, he proceeded to say that "it wasnt looking good". I cannot believe the HORRIFIC customer service at this place. I am a regular there, and they totally treated us like they did not want our business. We proceeded to leave, went to sit on the patio at the Italian place next door, had great service and salvaged our night. WE WILL NOT BE BACK TO GENKI.... EVER!

If you are craving greasy, revolting caricature of traditional Japanese food do order Katsu Don at Roswell location. What passes at this place for Japanese green tea was not much help either. For almost 3 bucks you are getting a cup of hot water with cheap supermarket quality baggy of green tea on the side. The wedge of lemon actually they serve with green tea actually brings some flavor to this, otherwise nasty drink. Sushi menu is not much better. For the price, you will be much better off at any of the Asian markets or even Kroger or Publix. The selection is very limited and menu is extremely overpriced. Soy sauce, wasabi and pickled ginger was OK. We will not be back and I suggest the same to you.

Overpriced and not worth the wait. I had a California Roll, and it just wasnt that great. If youve had a good roll, you have expectations. This didnt meet it. Avocado wasnt the best quality, wasnt rolled tightly, fell apart... Friend had a beef ramen bowl. The base of the sauce seemed to be corn syrup. Way too sweet. Overall got the feeling of high prices for the slow preparation of mediocre food. Would not recommend and will never return. We ended up there because our place of choice isnt open on Mondays, and we figured wed give it a try. Bad decision. There are too many really good asian-themed restaurants in Atlanta to bother with one that is over-priced and has lower quality food.

Been a loyal Genki customer for years now. But Dont go to this location when it is not busy and should get great service because it is not busy. Stood at front door, was not greeted. Sat myself, sat for 10 mins while all the workers looked at me without a menu or drink. Finally walked up to bartender to see if anyone was coming over. Finally was I recognized. Even people sitting directly at the bar waited for awhile. There was only 6 people in the Resturant. No reason to sit for 10 mins without even being acknowledged. Will not come back to this location, horrible service. Not a happy customer.

It is terrible. Especially the service. There was an UberEats driver waiting patiently for a while, but they were taking long. As first I knew how busy they were. But other take out orders were being given and he was still waiting. And thats when I heard one of the workers telling another that she "doesnt really care about the Uber orders." That was very disrespectful. The UberEats driver left and I was glad he did. Hopefully he doesnt choose to accept their orders again. Other than that. The food wasnt as good as I thought. And again, there could be so much better service.

Ordered the Nabeyaki Udon. It wasnt inedible, but at $18 for a bowl of udon, Id expect some pretty good udon. The ensemble of ingredients didnt really taste fresh, and Ive had better instant udon broth than what was in that. Service was okay. The waitress was new, so going to give the benefit of the doubt on that part. Overall, just average. Not terrible, but not worth the amount I paid by a long shot. There seem to be some more fairly-priced items on the menu like rice bowls though. I imagine those would be decent.

Had a good experience eating at Genki but I have ordered take out from there 4 times and it has been wrong every single time! I read right off the menu and it never fails when I get there its not what I ordered. I have even ordered the exact same mean on two different occasions and the total cost was $10 different. The servers just get an attitude if you tell them its not what you ordered. I wont be going back even though the location is very convenient for me.

I used a groupon here & I felt like I annoyed the staff by doing so. The service was slow & condescending. Im not a cheapskate & didnt appreciate being made to feel like one because I used an offer the restaurant put out. Especially when I ended up paying just as much as the groupon was "worth." The food was decent, nothing to get too excited over. This was my first visit, but Im pretty certain I wont return. There are far superior places to spend your money.

Wouldnt know if the food was good, because I called FIVE times to confirm my order after that train wreck delivery site charged me twice and then cancelled itself. I just ended up cancelling it all because they wouldnt answer the damn phone!!! Then an hour later the site called and asked if I picked up my food?? NO you chumps kept cancelling it. UGHHHHHHHHH food looked nice, too. OH WELL.

Wow just ate here not too long ago Tyler has got to be the rudest member of management I have ever spoken to. We had hairs in our food and he treated me very disrespectful. Very poor experience every time we go there. I hope it changes, but we will not be back ever again. They charge to put your food in a box and charge extra for everything. Not something a customer wants to brag about.

By far the best Sushi I have ever had before in my entire life! :) A server named Peter invited my brother and I in for some Sake one night while we were walking around the area trying to find a place to have a couple of drinks and some good. Peter was an amazing bartender/server. We returned several times after that night. Peter deserves a raise!

Food was great, service was terrible. The staff was either apathetic or vindictive, but definitely not attentive nor friendly. They seemed bothered by us having disturbed their lounging around the empty restaurant during regular lunch hours. Management; the food is great, but the service needs an attitude adjustment.

Great Sushi and they deliver! Artistic and delicious sushi and sashimi Chill atmosphere. We usually chose to sit outside on the patio. After dinner we went to one of the three bars next door for an apéritif. Genki also delivered a wonderful Valentines day dinner for my husband and I Thank you Genki Sushi!
