Second time going very late night. I stumbled on this place looking to get a bite to eat and drink after 11:00 p.m. I must say Edgewood Tavern have some really good tasting food. The presentation is great. I read previous reviews of bad service. I didnt experience that both times. I was waited on a fair amount of time. The food came out in fair amount of time. The server was average. I absolutely love the atmosphere. Its not a dive bar atmosphere. Outside this place is bit sketchy. If you are looking for loud rowdy, step one foot outside this place there are several on this street. The tavern is more laid back and intimate place. Its a mixed crowd. Im not into pool, but will try upstairs on my next visit. Try eating here. They have some great tasting food. I cant chime in on drinks just yet. Parking is on the street. Never had a problem finding parking. Its metered parking during day and after 7 p.m. its free.

1st and last visit was not a good experience. Last month a group of 7 of us wanted to try the restaurant out for brunch to celebrate a birthday. We waited 30 minutes for a table to come available. When one did we stood for almost another 30 minutes in hopes of the table would be cleaned. We asked twice when they would be cleaned. The waiters response, "when we get to it". Then the waiter, as we were standing against the wall, told us if we wanted bottomless mimosa we needed to present our ID and pay before the special ends. We still havent received a table. They waiters had an attitude and was unprofessional. Never again. The people whose table we were waiting also explained that their experience wasnt the best. So we decided to just leave and go to another establishment up the street.

This place is literally walking distance from my apartment so I go at least once a week. Its only really packed on the weekends, which I like because sometimes I just want to have a drink after work and some good ole American bar grub without it being TOO loud. I typically sit at the bar upstairs and I spend about $15-20 here, for a drink and food. They always have daily specials and soup du jour! LAUREN AND CAT are awesome bartenders and the service is amazing! Food: I really like their burgers! I like the Tavern Melt with pimento cheese and bacon! YUM. Its juicy and the buttery Texas toast just makes it that more sinful! The jerk chicken quesadilla is good too! Its spicy and it has pepper jack cheese, black beans, red onion, tomato AND cilantro! I highly recommend this place!

Ive been here before and received adequate service and Ive been here on a not so busy night and received extremely poor service on top of attitude from bartenders/servers. Ive worked in the service industry in various capacities and Im generally an extremely postive and upbeat guy, so thats saying a lot. The manager response to Kwame a month ago should tell you a lot. Its a little condescending to start (which is also something Ive received here in addition a to a late order). Trying to paint a customer as big bad angry guy (classic lion vs doe spin) does not change the fact that this customer felt the staff was highly rude to him. Its best to look at this situation with open eyes and find ways to prevent another occurrence vs subtly casting it all on the customer here.

Bad customer service! On a Friday night, at 12am, I was aggressively harassed and threatened by 2 tavern employees, a bar waitress, and a manager for simply not ordering a drink fast enough. When after a few minutes, I politely responded to the bar waitress that I wasnt ready to order yet, both immediately made rude threats to forcibly remove me from the bar if I didnt purchase immediately. Unfortunately, these previous Google reviews about bad customer service by some night-staff appear to be sadly true, & the Edgewood Corner Tavern doesnt seem motivated to properly correct the culture,

Service was great. The food was OK. My fiance and I ordered the Salmon BLT ( sandwich on a bagette) and [2nd meal] 2 Giant biscuits filled with turkey covered by cheese & tomatoes. Both meals were a little bland, no seasoning but huge portions. This is a great Happy Hour joint which gets high marks from us on beers but low marks on flavor, restaurant music and atmosphere.

I live and work around 2 blocks away from this place. I stop in for drinks nearly every night and grab lunch here at least twice a week. Ive never had a bad experience here and really have no complaints. The staff is always quick and super helpful and the food is reallllyyyy good, especially for bar food. Plus you cant be mad at $1 PBR drafts on Mondays.

I was visiting Atlanta and happen to try a new place. My lettuce had actual dirt on it, that could have easily be washed off. Lettuce wasnt simplOld liquor bottles that they serve water is a cute idea but is very unsanitary. Black particles in my water and actual ice cubes. My friends and I could not eat our food. Just disgusted! Sorrii...

The service is extra slow . They were out of everything we asked for and then took it thirty minutes to get our drinks! Had to leave because service was so bad and then they tried to hold us at the door to pay for drinks that werent given to us! Management didnt help much. Really should expect more from its staff. Eat elsewhere!

Small pool hall/ bar and restaurant. Good food. I tried the blackened chicken sandwich with mmmmm mash. Upstairs was quiet for pool which helped. Jukebox with TouchTunes. If your a non smoker things can change if you have smokers upstairs. Otherwise it was a well run clean and friendly joint.

Slow service, four people had to share one menu for 5 minutes then wait an additional 25 minutes for 2 waters, a lemonade, and a club soda. I am a bartender so Im in the service industry and this is just unacceptable. The only plus was that the decor was nice

Service is terrible. Took half hour to get drinks, and the server was lazy. Never checked on us or tried to take our food order while we were waiting. Rude when we left. Manager was less than helpful. Go to the 5 Points location instead!

Bottomless mimosas were great. We ate brunch upstairs which was perfect for our rowdy group. My partner and I had the ship and grits and quesadillas. Good pub food. The staff was friendly. Very casual environment.

We went for brunch on a Sunday. Our food took about 45 minutes to come out. We got the french toast, which was really good, and the avocado toast, which was average and overpriced at $8.50 for what it was.

I went at off-peak hours. Had a grilled veggie sandwich. Service was prompt and food delicious. The bathroom was really nice and clean in relation to a dive bar atmosphere, which I really appreciated.
