my wife, baby, and I went at about 2pm so we were not doing drinks and not during a rush hr time so that might change the service. service- Pros- Fast order to table time Cons- Well for one the waiter kept calling me Papi. not in like a scarface "oye Papi" either it kind of creped me out. I asked about the tacos size he responded by giving me an idea with his hands. ok cool. I said ok its a good size then cool. mind you im not a small guy but not huge either I am tatted up prior military/Security dude with a high and tight. I put off a dont touch me/get away from me vibe. I dont like people in my blind spots. he decided it was a good idea to pat my belly a couple of times and say yes its a good size for you while calling me Papi. Dude really? Food Pros- Brisket, chicken, rice and beans were ok. Cons- poor food quality, didnt taste the freshest My wife ordered a beef enchilada. she took one bite and moved to her chicken tacos. after a few minutes I asked if everything was ok she said she had to let her food settle because the first bite she took of the beef was so greasy it made her stomach upset. I thought she was just having an upset stomach from being pregnant. I took a bite of it to check it. grease oozed out of the spot I just cut and pooled into the dish. Taco Bell Beef has less grease and more flavor . needless to say that wasnt touched after that. I had Mole sauce added to my tacos. Im not sure how they make their Mole but Ive been eating Mole for 24 years.... that was not it. Over all The atmosphere was ok. They still had up 5th of May stuff. its September time to take it down. the feeling in the place seemed to be more of a bar with food items rather than a food place with a bar. the price was good if the food was eatable. I spent 26 bucks on 3 eatable items (rice and Bean being 2 of the 3). the place seems like something you would see on Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares. reminded me of the episode he told the owner to concentrate on Quality not Quantity this place has way to many options it doesnt do well rather than having a few options it does extremely well at. maybe Im to much of a food critic since my dad has been running food places for 24 plus years but we Will NOT be returning. find some where else to eat for 30 bucks. if your set on "Mexican" go to Taco Bell its more authentic Jack-in-the-box soy tacos pass of better "beef"

Well, i just hate giving a negative review but after years of eating at Paradise Grille and having seen the place go down hill, i am hoping the owner or manager will listen. Greasy Greasy nasty oil dripping cheesesteak sandwiches at the grill, on the mexican side has gone way down. Dont order the chimichanga with the brisket. You will be digging all the brisket out and eating just the meat because it is long strands, they need to chop it up. I asked for chopped (they failed) and i ate the meat and then the fried tortilla empty. I got maybe a tablespoon of beans and a ton of dry nasty rice. The chips were not warm, but most of all dont step away for the bathroom they cleared my entire table and we had to start over again. Once you finally get silverware you will really be hungry. All frustrating and i told them i would write a review ( i was nice) and they did not care. Meal price about 16 bucks with no manager who cared. Paradise, you owe me a proper chimichanga. I eat there so much and have been let down over and over, trying to give them a chance. This seems trivial but try cutting thru tough brisket with a cheap fork, :)

I went here with a bunch of friends, three of which were from out of state, but recently moved to the area. We ordered drinks at the bar and we all respectfully showed our IDs. The manager had to check the out of state IDs, which was explainable. However, after about 20 minutes, he came back and denied one of my friends. It was a real ID and my friend is 24 years old.. He claimed some lines were not matched up in a book which he "checked". My friend then showed everything in his wallet (credit card, an alternate ID, etc). The manager proceeded to take a rude tone and stated to us that he was doing us a favor by "not taking the ID" (which, again, is real). Its a shame because we proceeded to leave due to the rudeness nature of this manager and spent our money else where. The restaurant not only lost our business for the evening, but I refuse to return. I encourage others the same as well.

I ordered a Philly Cheesestake but asked for Jalapenos instead of green bell peppers. When the sandwich came it had cold Jalapenos thrown on top. When I asked if I had ordered it with the green bell peppers instead if the peppers would have come thrown on top uncooked too? That is when they told me they dont cook Jalapenos because it releases the capsaicin into the air. I lost it at that point. Firstly, dont take the order if you are not going to honor the request. Secondly throwing cold pickled Jalapenos on top of a hot sandwich is a crime! This place doesnt deserve your business. Head over to Taco Bell instead.

I asked for the grilled seafood platter and it came fried. Also the fish didnt taste right , the shrimp was stringy, the hushpuppies where undercooked, and I learned I hate scallops ( Idk if they where made right, but I didnt like them). The mashed potatoes where plain and the crab cake wasnt cooked right. The only good part was the fried okra and the virgin sherly temple .... Which wasnt even the drink I ordered!!! But you know what the rest of my family seemed to like all their food so I will come back, but please I never want to go through that again.

Originally visited based on the menu Google provides, thinking this would be a fairly nice restaurant - but the actual menu was very different, and the restaurant was more like a sports grill. Televisions all over the walls playing various sports, and random decor. Ordered fish with green beans and coleslaw - fish was good, but the green beans had way too much garlic and the coleslaw had a strange taste (only ate the one bite, gross). Hubby had a grilled chicken sandwich that was ok but not impressive. Our waiter was nice, but I dont think well be going back.

We have eaten here many times. The service is always good. The chips and queso are a frequent stapke when we come here. The queso is thick and actually sticks to the chips, unlike most restaurants in the area. The staff is always friendly and keeps your drinks refilled. The Paradise, South of the Border restaurant is next door /connected and part of the same establishment. You can order from either menu, just be aware that it comes from two separate kitchens so if you order from both places, the food may come out at different times.

I like the mexican "side" but you can order off both menus on either side. Great drink specials on the right days. Strangely enough their wings are the best in this area (ask for extra crispy - takes a few more minutes but it is great!). Other than wings, steak tacos, beef tacos, and fajitas are all pretty decent. If you want super authentic go to buford hwy, otherwise this is a great local place with good food, good drinks, love music sometimes. The bar is usually older locals, but the restaurant is usually full of families.
