Had dinner here on Saturday at 8:30pm. The dining room is beautiful and has very different vibes from other steakhouses. The food was absolutely outstanding. Filet mignon was great and we tried all of the sauces at our table, as well as the spinach, macaroni, and twice baked potato. I had the Retox to drink which seemed to be a table favorite. One issue I had was the waitor did not seem too pleased to be serving people in their late 20s/ early 30s. I didnt understand why but there was attitude like we werent worth his time.. despite spending over $400 in the hour we were there and being perfectly courteous guests. We asked him to split our check three ways (four diners), and he seemed very irritated (simple task really) and when he thought no one was looking as he walked to the computer he visibly rolled his eyes and I saw it... as an ex server that really killed it for me. I was disappointed he reacted that way and hated to end on that note.

My friends and I decided to have our monthly dinner here, and we did not have a pleasant experience for multiple reasons. First off, we had a reservation for 8:30 and they didnt sit us until 9. We would understand if this was a Friday or Saturday night, but this was a Monday. We were very hungry. After sitting down, one of my friends didnt even have a menu in front of him for almost 30 minutes! The steak was nothing special....and to add on - mine was well undercooked and very dry. If there is one thing you want to get right as the new steakhouse on the block, it has to be the steak. And they did not even touch any of their competitors in the area. The whole time there I was dreaming of a steak from the steakhouse down the road which blows this place away. And then at the end, it took a half hour to get our checks! Because of my experience, neither my friends nor I will be returning here, and we sure wont recommend it to anybody else.

I gave this place five stars for the service above all else. Now the stellar service rating is in comparison to other upscale restaurants just in Atlanta. All of the waitstaff were very helpful and pleasant even the ones who were not serving us. The chef and management were what made the difference in this place for me. They truly went out of their way to make us feel like royalty and know how treat their customers who are spending hundreds of dollars on a meal. Food was good, one of the best steaks Ive had in Atlanta. Incredible ambiance. Ive been to most high end restaurants in the city and this place sets a new standard. Thanks to the chef and the management.

GREAT atmosphere and service. AWESOME area in Buckhead. Great wine list and setting. The primary reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that our steaks were good, but not great. My "charred" request was not really done properly and just seemed a bit smoky. That said, the Sommelier was very good and made a great red wine recommendation and our server checked on us very nicely. The bar upstairs is really cool and has a great patio feel. I like the vibe and decor at American Cut a great deal. However, Bones and Chops offer a superior steak in our view. American Cut offers a fun, hip, upscale vibe for a slightly younger crowd than the other nearby steakhouses.

This is an average review despite the fact that my meal was good and the service excellent. The reason is that this bills itself as a premium steakhouse and despite that my steak was only good. A bit over salted and more medium rare than the rare NY strip I ordered. Also my twice baked truffle fries werent evenly mashed leaving a few large half cooked chunks. But the service was great. Overall, I have had better steaks at premium places and if thats what you want then there are other great choices nearby. I will try it again to see if the kitchen had an off night and update when I do.

Food was amazing. Environment was cool, a bit dark and loud. Service at the host stand was great. Service at the table was terrible. Order a $40 steak plus $9 sides each and drinks to be rushed. Brought our check without us asking for it. We were probably at the table for less than an hour. Didnt order dessert because the server was rushing us so much. Would have ordered more drinks as well had we not been rushed. Server was also condescending to busboy. Overall, our delicious dinner was tarnished by our servers demeanor and attitude.

Came out for the TSBA Al Fresco Dining Tour. We received great service. When it started raining, they whisked us inside to continue drinking, eating, and networking. We had a delicious soft baked pretzel that had just the right amount of salt with a "sexy" honey mustard, tasty honey sracha wings, a waygu slider. The view was fantastic with plenty if different spaces for mingling.

Beautiful place, great rooftop bar... would definitely visit again. My only complaints would be that the waitress was overwhelmed! Getting drinks and check took a long time. Definitely need a second waitress on the patio on busy nights! And.... the worst part... such an upscale establishment should not have restrooms as dirty as they did! It really was a shame!

Server was great and so was ambience ... however the food fell way short of my expectations. The mushrooms was oily, the lobster Mac n cheese was forgettable and the short rib was extremely burnt and dry. The surf and turf special was tasteless and oil drenched also. I had such great expectations going in. Definitely not going back. American Cut can do better.

Just returned from a group event at American Cut ATL. Service, quality of food, wine & liquor, as well as atmosphere were outstanding and equal or better than the best Atlanta, Miami or New York City offer. It will be on my list for best clients, as well as family and friends. Mit (the manager) has this spot humming beautifully.

Top notch service and food, cozy atmosphere, elegant decor. The chopped salad was incredible, the NY strip was seasoned and cooked to perfection, the brussels sprouts were the best Ive ever had. And, they have the most decadent chocolate cake! Our server, Josh, was outstanding. Valet parking was a huge plus.

The food was inedible and six people from the company holiday party were made sick. The "20 oz ribeye" was served as tiny slices amongst 10 people! Even a slice of cake - not a big one, just a regular slice - was meant to be shared by 3 people!

BEST PATIO IN ATL. The food is always the highest of qualities. Can always depend on American Cut whether it be for their burgers, to their steaks, to their sides, everything is always the highest of qualities.

Came here on a Wednesday night for rooftop drinks, apps, and live music. Great atmosphere!! The wings and pretzel were amazing! Make sure you dress to impress. This is Buckhead after all.

Great cocktails, which are different from the Lounge upstairs. The pastrami bone-in ribeye is big enough at 20 oz to share, was cooked perfectly. The sunchoked spinach was delicious.
