I have been going to Chilangos for 3 years now, and I am not sure if there is another restaurant in the Orlando are by the same name that has bad food, but that is the only explanation I can give for any negative reviews about this restaurant. Sure its a dive, but it is a dive with GREAT FOOD. I dont know if you were expecting ambiance, but this small family run business is in the business of delivering great food, not fancy accoutrements. The owner of the business is a sweet woman who has been nothing but friendly and personable since the first time I ordered food from her restaurant. The kitchen staff, although somewhat impeded by a language barrier, attempts to provide good customer service in spite of the broken English. I dont know if competitors in the area are trashing this sweet woman and her restaurant to prevent her from getting much deserved business, but my personal opinion is the food is great, the portions are more than generous (I fill up on one American taco and the beans and rice!), and the service is awesome as well. Try the food and dont expect it to be an Amigos or some other corporate chain restaurant. Just enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine at an affordable price! You wont be disappointed!

Eat at your own risk...We have gone here for years and have been mostly satisfied...they have had some problems but we always accepted them..(food..delivery..attitude.. but it changed and we saw it in front of our own eyes... new apartments opened and they did like most greedy businesses do and catered to the new up and coming customer .. not the loyal ones that helped them establish!!!... the food is not even close to a taco bell being run by terrorists.. and should not be fed to a garbage can .. nevermind a willing,, paying,, patron,,, please try for yourself and wonder why you chose to give them your money rather than get the satisfaction of burning it and at least having the satisfaction of knowing you burned your money ...NOT THEM!!

GROSS. DISGUSTING. I had recently been craving enchiladas, so I went here expecting something good considering all the positive reviews. BOY WAS A DISSAPOINTED!! The taco meat was bland and unflavorable (beef). And on top of that the tacos were SOGGY and falling apart for 1.75$ per taco you would expect better! The enchiladas were unedible.SOGGY, floating in a disgusting red sauce. I like my enchiladas wet but not like a soup!! Once again the meat (beef) was bland and watery. The queso fresco on top of the enchiladas had no taste at all! The meal 1 taco, a drink, and 2 small enchiladas was not worth the 12$ that was spent. I actually threw all the food out. I wouldnt even feed it to my dog!

These people have no business in a kitchen, let alone a Restaraunt. Or 2nd time in 3 months, both time we got sick. The big lady is rude, and non -helpful. 8 of us went 3 months ago, with in 1 hr., 6 got sick. We all called each right away. We tried again today, just in case it was a bad day, it wasnt. Worse today than the first. I will be call the Health Dept. tommorow!!!!!!!!!!! I WARN YOU, STAY AWAY!!! TASTELESS, DRY, STALE , AWFUL GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered the carne Asada it was terrible. Lacking any flavor and they used a sub par cut of meat. Not skirt or sirloin some tough blade steak or something cut too way thick and also not seared properly. You will have to soak that in vinegar and beat it with a hammer for a week to come close to the tenderness needed.also the refried Beans are more like watered down bean blend. Will not be back.

The food was dry and looked as tho it had been sitting out all day. A bit pricey as well. Rice, re fried beans and steak were all flavorless. The steak was so dry (post squeezing two lime slices all over) I almost choked. My cup was covered in hair like theyd grabbed a stack of cups off a barbers table.. I say it never hurts to try something once, rest assured once was ENOUGH! :(

The best Mexican food EVER. It is truly authentic Mexican food. You can tell by eating the food it is freshly made. They dont have to advertise that they are fresh, everybody knows it. It is a staple of winter spring, and for any tourist or visitor looking for good Mexican food I would point them directly to chilangos.

Ive been here several times and I finally decided to write a review after the last two negative interactions I have had with Chilangos. I called to order 2 STEAK burritos (which Ive had before) and instead I get 2 GROUND BEEF burritos! They were horrible! Never coming again

Great fresh Mexican food. This family owned restaurant is our new favorite place. The tacos and burritos are very tasty. Theres a fresh little salsa bar that compliments the free chips when dining in. Check out dollar taco Tuesdays and half price chimichanga on Thursdays.

Got a flier in the mail for this place, and decided to give it a try. SOOOOOOO glad we did! The food was AMAZING! I grew up in southern California, and have been searching for an authentic Mexican restaurant for a long time. This is THE PLACE. + bonus points for delivery!

Awesome and incredibly tasty, doesnt break your bank and everyone that works there is really friendly. Also their tres leches is ridiculously delicious. GO GO GO, super fresh and authentic, lets get rid of every tijuana flats so that we may make room for more Chilangos<3

We come here on Tuesdays for their dollar tacos. Its a very small, family run restaurant. They are very friendly, and after a couple visits they will know you and likely what you like to order. The food is pretty close to authentic, and you cant beat the prices.

Cant say enough good things about this restaurant. Food is authentic and delicious. Its always a treat to eat in a place where the owners are taking orders and serving the customers. Their salsa bar is also a must visit.

This place is fantastic! The woman who served us was so incredibly nice and the food was amazing! I havent had pork street tacos this good in over 10 years! Went in for taco Tuesday and got 6 tacos and 3 beers for $16!

Great tasting authentic mexican food. Love the chimichanga and the tacos with bacon on it ! U cant go wrong with bacon. The service is excellent and the owner always makes me feel welcomed. Great people great food.

Actually authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price. Try the real Mexican tacos (not the American style) and the variety of meats. The cauliflowers and carrots pickled with habanero peppers are phenomenal!
