We just arrived in Tampa and had a hankering for Thai cuisine. Si-am was close to our hotel so we decide to check it out. They have a great assortment of beers (Singha, Kirin, and some specialty local brew). I had the red that was very tasty. We started with fried calamari, and spring rolls (both veggie and chicken). These were all basic. The calamari was underwhelming - only the rings and battered in a way that made them look like onion rings. My favorite calamari are the little squid like calamari and there were none to be found sadly. I ordered the Massaman Curry and the Drunken Noodles. They gave us an option of heat; light, medium, hot and Thai hot. We picked light noodles and medium Curry. The Curry definitely had a kick that I appreciated but I dont think Id want to experience Thai hot hah I might not make it through. I tried the Thai Iced Tea that was incredibly tasty but it generally always is (Im a huge fan). The server was very attentive and while he took the time to split our bills without asking he did jumble up some items on wrong checks so we venmo-ed each other which was odd. Overall, if you want solid Thai cuisine, I recommend Si-am.

We were one of maybe four tables and service was incredibly slow, especially for a restaurant in the middle of downtown at lunch time. My lunch companion quite literally had to ask for her food to be brought out (some 20 minutes after my food had been delivered) when it became clear that theyd forgotten about her meal. Her fried rice was room temperature and had solidified into a mass. Clearly it had been prepared for some time but was not brought to our table. I had flavorful but lukewarm soup and we shared a tasty small plate of fried tofu. The small portion of rice soup and mini-spring roll that comes with lunch are a nice touch, though the roasted garlic used in the soup was very, very strong. We also enjoyed the Thai tea. Had the food been served timely and hot, Id be giving a much different review.

We ate lunch and on this occasion it happened to be extremely crowded, despite this we were seated quickly. I ordered the chicken pad Thai, Thai hot.The entree q came with a mini egg roll and broth soup. Both were tasty but served lukewarm . My entree was a adequate lunch portion and had good flavor but could have had larger pieces of chicken, they were for the most part grounded chicken. Good flavor though. Service was quick, friendly courteous and professional all at a reasonable price and nice ambiance.

Its well worth finding him. There werent many people, but I decided to visit this place. The service very attentive, helpful when you order. Food was arriving very quickly. Well the chicken salcita satay soft satay was a little leathery, but the rest of the food was delicious. Tasty, perfectly prepared and at a very reasonable price. Id recommend you go there.

Delicious food, quick service, very friendly staff. I loved the pad se ew, and appreciated the option to choose my spice level. I also got the sticky rice with mango for dessert, which was heavenly. With tea, an entree, and dessert, my meal was only $20! To top it all off, the waiter was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Food is awesome. Great variety of food dishes in the menu. We enjoyed Fresh basil rolls, steamed dumpling, satay chicken, mixed sea food soup, fried rice with curries, Pad Thai Noodle and ice creams. Its always a great dining experience each time we visit this restaurant. Great atmosphere and friendly service.

Oh my goodness, this place is amazing! We got crispy duck with green curry plus spring rolls and krab rangoon. Everything about it was great, there was just enough spice and the flavors were perfect. The eggplant, green beans, and bamboo shoots all tasted so good together.

The meal was so bad here it motivated me to register to file this review. The oil/grease on top of the food was disgusting. I cant say anything good about this place. Oh, okay its proximity to Tampa Theater was nice, if you dont mind eating gut bombs for food.

If you want the BEST GREEN CURRY youve ever had, look no further. Ten stars. Amazing pad Thai and drunken noodle as well. Love the chicken rice soup and spring rolls..... definitely need to try this if youre looking for that authentic THAI taste

Delicious, well priced, and amazing decor. Staff are knowledgeable about the food they serve. Was disappointed that the credit card machine would not allow me to enter a tip, but I suspect the staff will see that corrected ASAP.

The Panang curry was amazing and the spice was perfect. Thai donuts were the best dessert served with a dulce caramel sauce. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful! Definitely has my vote any time Im craving Thai food.

Ive eaten here many times and the service and food is always great. The Pad Thai is my favorite but the pineapple fried rice is delicious as well. This is a good quality place to eat with reasonable prices.

Ive been to Thailand, as well as the majority of Thai Restaurants in Tampa. Hand-down Si-Am Thai is the best in Thai Restaurant in Tampa when it comes to quality, authenticity and service.
