If you do not love this bar youre an ass hole. Not for not loving it, youre entitled to like whatever you wish. But The Dog has awesomely friendly and accommodating bartenders, an incredibly sociable clientele, and a great selection of bar favorite food done exceptionally well. The grilled cheese is legendary, as are the cheese fries. The drinks are very reasonably priced and served up with a smile. So the only possible way you could not like The Dog is if you behave like an ass hole. They dont do that here. If you enjoy a good time at a chill place that is still busy enough to be a great night out than this place is for you. Youll probably make some friends here. If not, well, you know.

Red Dog has a good environment but a staff that seems to be very uncaring of customers. I live in Tampa and have been to the bar several times. One common element exists; service is sluggish and with an attitude. I did have a bartender once who was nice, however that is not the norm. The manager is and was crass on more than one occasion with myself and other customers. The food on the menu is typical bar food, fried and greasy like most bar food. My biggest issue with Red Dog is I can go anywhere and be given mediocre food, a beer and I can request the poor service if necessary.

If you want to be able to wear whatever you want, do whatever you want, eat fried food and drink cheap beer...red dog. They have some good stuff on tap too and the crowd is always good and laid back. Good for lightning games and football.

Really chill place they have pool tables, darts, foosball table, pac man, the golf game. Their food is reasonably priced an pretty good all i ordered was the potato skins an chesse sticks an they were good!
