Ive lived back and forth in this area for over 45 years ,I have been a regular at RiversEdge for as many years as I can remember ,what youre doing with the place is fabulous ,the bartenders are great ,the floor staff although has a lot to be desired ,not very attentive to the customers, not very experienced ,my beers sat on the bar open for more than 10 minutes before the waitress picked them up and brought them to me they were already getting warm, she forgot the condiments with my order of food, did not frequent the table to see if there was anything else needed or wanted, was not satisfied with that portion of the experience, the food however was as good as usual kind of hard to mess up cold shrimp, Im sure if I ordered something more there would have been a different outcome...Thank You for your concerns...PAN...

Our new favorite place to grab a bite or beer! Waterfront location River/South Shore bay access. Just put in a new deck and multiple docks. Live music with great bands. Food is great. I suggest the peel and eat shrimp or the boom boom shrimp. VERY Family friendly. This place is laid back with a lot of bikers however this is not a rowdy crowd. Weekend crusiers and professionals, fishermen and boaters. On the weekends it is very busy and the service can be laid back, but we dont mind because we go to enjoy it without the rush. Owner brought out free popsicles for our kids.

You have to keep in mind that this a laid back biker bar with docks for boats to pull up. It is a great chill spot for hanging out, having some beer, and listening to live music in the sunshine. The food is actually very good if your mindset is bar/river shack eats. Service is a little on the Jimmy Buffett side of slower, but again, you come here to relax and hangout with no hurries or worries. Staff and patrons have always been friendly and laid back. If this review sounds like something youd like, I definitely recommend stopping in and enjoying yourself!

Each time Im here the service is better and better the food is always impeccable, prices are reasonable and atmosphere is always fantastic. Bring your fishing rod because you can cook whatever you catch! Home away from home! Adding a new seawall and bunch of floating docks for alafia river qccess. New tiki bar and triple seating potential! Bring your scooter, boat , car, truck, bike, horse, neighbors ! PAAARRTTAYYY! Definitely biker friendly.

The bar is definitely for the locals , my wife and I sat there waiting for service for 20 minutes. The waitress and the bartender for some reason wouldnt give us service. We sat out on the back patio, and was so embarrassed. We picked up our things and walked away as both the woman bartender and the blonde waitress just watched us leave. It may have been just a bad day for them but they dont go out of their way to be friendly

It has a beautiful setting on the Alafia River. live music on Sunday local bands. The food is prepared well with good portions very tasty at this moment they have Oysters Rockefeller in season which my wife loves. There are docks there so you can pull up on your boat get off and have a great time. Good people and a very friendly place. They are constantly upgrading so it gets better and better there. Ill see you there.

Love hanging out at the Edge with friends evenings and weekends. They serve an amazing Bloody Mary. Their food is great too. Especially the burgers & fries, BLTs, and shrimp. Lovely view on the water of course. Try their Jell-O shots too!

Great spot on the river. I believe the service would be better if everyone who works at this place shared their tips rather then worry about who is taking care of you. Teamwork would go a long way to making this a great place.
