My boyfriend and I visited Lattitudes for the first time last night and I cant say how dissatisfied we both were with our experience. We got there about 8pm last night and there was a decent sized crowd both inside and outside. I would say manageable for a Friday night. We walked around for a few minutes before a woman who introduced herself as Shelly greeted us and said there was about a 30 minute wait and haphazardly put us outside in two vacant chairs at a table with two other people without asking them if that was even okay. She said we would have the first available table which we realized was not the truth as others who came after us we seated before us. So after about 20 minutes she came back to us we ordered drinks. The glass of Merlot I was given still had lipstick stains on it, so I gave the drink back to Shelly who immediately got me another glass and was apologetic, but seriously that is just gross! By 9pm after asking several staff members who just seemed rushed Shelly finally got us a table inside. The table was sticky and dirty, so she wiped it off with a few bar napkins, so needless to say the table was still dirty! My boyfriend kept asking me if I wanted to leave but I insisted that we try the food. WELL WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT THAT WAS!!! I ordered the 4oz filet medium well with rice and mushrooms with a cup of the seafood chowder. My boyfriend ordered the Grass Fed Filet of Beef. I never got my soup, my steak was overcooked, I got about a cup of rice that was hard in most places and the sauteed mushrooms were soggy. My boyfriends steak was flavorless and the rosemary potatoes left much to be desired. It felt like we were eating left overs. We are both locals and were really looking forward to trying a new restaurant in our neighborhood and having a relaxed Friday night. We left feeling unsatisfied and ripped off! So after leaving your restaurant we aimlessly went next door to the Asian Buffet who were closing at 10pm. We then went to a nearby Cuban restaurant who was also closing, so we ended up at Apple bees where we got an appetizer as we were still hungry from not having finished our meals at your restaurant. This restaurant seems like it could be a great time and quite possibly has good food, but the staff is clearly not equipped to deal with a crowd of any sort and should consider not serving food after a certain time if the cooks are going to rush through the meals or give food that has been sitting around for a while. Just not a good feeling to spend $50 and 2 hours at a restaurant to walk away hungry and angry.

Decent location in a clean fairly new strip mall, was no wait at 7pm on a Saturday night but fairly busy. The appetizer fried dill pickles was served promptly but the ranch sauce its supposed to come with had to be asked for. The mojito was served with mostly ice and mint, gave them a second opportunity to make it right, we had a clear view of the bar, when the waitress who was decent at best returned the drink to the bartender he openly scoffed and sent out another "mojito" which was pure tonic water. Couldnt taste the sugar or simple syrup let alone any alcohol. Then asked this lady passing by to speak to management, she revealed she was the manager and sincerely apologized and made it properly herself. The meal took about 45 minutes to get the entree, Grouper piccata...had no flavor. Had to use the butter from the bread/butter basket and salt/pepper shaker on the table to season it myself. Overall, manager was friendly but this place could be a good restaurant with the right guidance and kitchen staff, food presentation was horrible, I asked for rice and portobello mushrooms on the side, they brought black beans. Will not advise anyone to spend money here unless just grabbing a few beers. They have a few sophisticated items like a charcuterie board which really isnt that sophisticated just cured meats and cheeses etc... but Im sure ordering that or raw oysters from this place would be a disaster. Overall Im giving the 3 stars to the accommodative manager with a lively and upbeat and sincere apologetic attitude, otherwise it would have been one star. For a little bit pricier but much more fulfilling experience, go to Circles just a couple miles north off of 41. Been there, its worth the extra 30 dollars for two including drinks and a better view on the water.

I used to really like Latitudes in Apollo Beach, but lately it has really really gone downhill. I had out of town company come in, and we wanted to go to lunch, and she doesnt have a real varied palette. This was where we chose to go, but I had warned here that over the past year, it has really gone downhill. The menu here is VERY limited. A few sandwiches, salads, and burgers. They are all pretty standard, and nothing really stands out. The burgers are either frozen patties, or made up well in advance. They are average, but nothing to write home about, and certainly not worth the price. Portions are larger than average which is the only plus. The service here is what is really worrisome. Or should I say the lack of service. It is simply awful. Our server was not friendly, not attentive. On multiple occasions we had to hunt her down for refills on water and tea. This is a HUGE annoyance to me. When we got the bill, she didnt even thank us for coming in, nothing. It was very obvious that unless your a regular here, they could care less about you. In addition, if your wanting to have a conversation with your fellow diners, you can forget it. The music was blaring as loud as it could be, and it reminded me of a night club. I would understand this on a weekend night, but this was during lunch on a Sunday. With all of the outstanding choices in the area, I would highly recommend that you skip this choice, and try something different.

Its a small mom and pop spot. We definitely love to patron at local business but man the food was not good. Yes this is limited to our selection. We had the seafood ceviche and it had too many mixed flavors. The wings average..the garlic parmesan was lightly seasoned. The sweet spicy was basically drizzled with honey. I could cook them at home easily. The steak and cheese flat bread was the worst. The combination of flavors was too much. The sweet tea was bitter. Sorry but this was not a great pick for us. We will probably never dine here again. The also had a DJ after 830pm.

The kid shrimp was completely burnt and basically inedible. I ordered a half latitude salad which was a side salad not really an actual half order. My husband ordered the herb infused skirt steak which for the cost was absolutely not worth it. The "chimichurri" was a weird purée that did not even have fresh ingredients and the flavor of the steak was strange. Overall this place is over priced and takes forever to get food or drinks to you. I would not recommend this place at all. The only saving grace was that our waitress was very polite and attentive.
